well he told me i would be no good at anything like that... at all... so i just kind of gave up on the forensics stuff and the physiology... but i think i might just become a teacher


hmm i get that! then there is this counselor we had in our high school that was way more popular because she was the drug counselor and stuff.. not sure what her job was excalty, because she didn't do any of the class making or any thing like that the other counselors did.

WS; OH. Okay. I thought you mean like "He killed someone and now the field of study is ruined for me." Kinda fucked up that, that's where my mind went first. That's a much more logical answer. Hurp. I'm not as interested in the forensics as I am in the mental aspect of it and figuring out how they work, why they do things, etc. Being ahead of them.

Yeah. I want to do that for someone. I love helping people out because I know what's it like to be helpless and stuck with no way out. I want to give people an out and try and help 'em and everything. Especially young kids, people, adults look down and make fun of a lot of the things that kids go through but that's what decides what type of adult you'll be. I have a few friends who were already doing hard drugs in middle school or drinking or were getting into trouble in a way they couldn't talk to anyone about or bullying taken too far.

I sometimes think counselors are a load of bullshit. Mine actually screwed me over in high school. They said how I didn't need a regents Chem class. Turns out I did. So three weeks into the school year I had to switch my whole schedule up.

Helsinki; The reason we broke up was stupid enough, but he said he'd think about a second chance and in the mean time be friends. Saturday we were going to go walking. He said to text when I was done with my grandma. I did. I also called twice, an hour between the calls. The second call I was pushed to voicemail after two rings. I haven't heard from him since yet he has been on FB saying he is really happy and commenting about rain, adding friends from school. He deleted an account on a site we met on, and deleting info from his FB. . . . So I'm just a bit pissed in his sudden 180.

That's more of an advisory position. I'm talking about being an actual counselor.

And that sounds skeevy as hell. I wouldn't contact him again if I were you, let him feel that absence. Sounds like he's trying to insure to himself that you'll always be around so he's doing whatever he wants.

@hell: well he did always talk about killing people, but at this point i think that would be motivation for me to join the other side, since he wants to become a police man... i hope his dream gets ruined! >hates him<

i hate when that happens.. that is why i wish to be a teacher because they were the people i got to talk to, they were the ones who helped me survive life.

@lio: they did that to me too, just glad physics counted as two regents and not just one, because they said if i took non regents chem i would be fine... then i found out softmore year that i needed that class to get the degree i wanted... but i got a better counselor that year and fixed it for me even though i was that behind...

Helsinki; what pisses me off is we had just made all these plans of taking like 6 months to go see all of Asia. I haven't tried to contact him since yesterday. For me it's hard to just not talk but I'm trying to.

WS; I was so pissed about that! I did well in regents Chem, except the actual regents exam. Thing is they made it extremely hard that year. Most did not pass it. I got a 67 on it.

Yeah. I thought for a bit about being a teacher but I fucking hate kids in a class room setting. I did an internship where I taught for a year. NEVER AGAIN. I taught 6th-8th grade classes.
