xD Sometimes I am too. It's such a curse!

And yeah I kind of noticed that, I was thinking of changing it to "RPG's" or something.

In my opinion, I liked it better in a lot of ways. There was better combat, better storyline, higher % of awesome characters, etc. On the whole I think I enjoyed it more. Like for example, there was no driving up super tall mountains and stuff. xD

Cool. I'll have to start playing it.

And, maybe you should change it "Bioware Games". :p

Well, I'd say go ahead and take your time. My dad made a good point the other day that sometimes you just have to wait until you're ready to play a game. Which is his reason for not playing Portal 2 yet. (Which by the way was fantastic)

I think I shall do that. xD

We're all mad here.
I looked up the Bioware, Black Isle thing but I can't remember it. I think Black Isle was a distibuter, like how Lions Gate Cinema distributed movies while they were actually made my Miramax. The distributor gets the credit often because they are the ones providing the game/movie to the public.

I've played the two Baldur's Gates and Icewind Dale. Alas, viruses killed the computers I was playing on and lost both of my ID and BG1 saves, which I'm still sore about, and now my ID disk won't work anymore.

I played BG2 multiplayer with my friend and brother. It was great. We each had two characters, one of which was an import so we had three children of Bhaal running around, though only my brother's was considered the main character. Was fun. It made exploring stuff really easy when we quit sticking together all the time. We did have a small problem though, with my brother always wanting to explore all the rooms (he was a sorcerer) all the time and not waiting for myself (healer tank) and my friend (healer tank) to get there. In the graveyard are we would see him run into a building and then come running back out with however many giant spectre ghosts after him. Got a little annoying at times. He and my friend would also occasionally spell each other, trying to trick each other into thinking something was going on (like raising a skeleton from the ground behind one another).

We had one amusing incident. While in a room with piles of mummies we kept getting level drained, which wouldn't be that big a deal if the cleric (my friend) wasn't also drained the levels he needed to cast the spell to fix it. After attempting repeadly we only fared our best yet but still had the same issue with the cleric. We were about to reload when things when something like this:

Friend: dammit! I'm level drained again.
Brother: I got a cure for level drain. FIREBALL! *roasts cleric*
Friend: aaah! I'll get you..
Me: no wait! That works! I can raise dead! If we kill him than it will get rid of his level drain and I can raise him back to normal again!
Guys: really?
Me: yeah! Kill him!
Brother: whooooo!
Friend: dammit! Dont' steal my stuff!

Fun fun :D

Quiet... it never ceases to amaze me how you've somehow managed to miss out on the panoply of amazing PC RPGs that Bioware has put out over the last decade.

You totally missed 3rd Edition's limelight in the videogame world. :p

On that note, I do believe a 4E Neverwiner Nights is in the works, possibly an MMO, but I have no interest in it, regardless. 3.5 for life!

I've only played Dragon Age and Mass Effect (first one and a bit of the second one), but I love both those series dearly. :3

I wish I could play ME2 more but I have an SDTV so the text is so tiny it actually gives me a headache. D: Though half the time I go "Screw it!" and play it anyway. XD;

@Quiet Man Cometh; Wow that sounds like a lot of fun! xD I've never played BG or ID, but I think my brother had. Bioware games just bring lots of fun don't they? xD

@Cyanide Lollipop; Aren't they fantastic? I love Mass Effect a bit more though. <3

And blaahhhh that suuucks!! Dx And lol that is the exact thing I would do! Headaches couldn't separate me from my one true love. xDDDD

I like them a lot. Good times. :)

Suzerain, you ought to know by now that I'm horrendously cheap and can amuse myself for eons with only one game (ie haven't finished Morrowind Yet). Having not finished BG or ID, I haven't found a reason to go onto the expansions or sequels, for the most part. I was also still playing ID when NWN came out, so none of that for me. I still haven't tried Dragon Age because I just haven't been inclined to. I suppose you can call me on that one. ;)

Hmm... I'd let you borrow them, but the postage might be a pit pricey. :p

And I think you'd really enjoy NVN if you got a chance to play it. It's kind of fantastic. The epic expansion for NWN 2 has a very BG2 atmosphere to the story, which is awesome.

Maybe I should check it out sometime! That is, after I finish a playthrough of Oblivion. ^^ Oh and Quiet, Dragon Age is awesome just so you know. ^^

Actually... I could swear you told me you started playing Dragon Age a while ago, Quiet. Did I dream that?

Lol that would be funny to dream that. Although, I've dreamt weirder things.
(But that's off topic.)

I probably meant to start. My brother has a copy he was going to loan me, or I said that I was going to check it out at some point. Of course, "some point" is rarely anytime soon, in my experience.

I'd say you should start it whenever you have the chance. Dragon Age: Origins is really a must-play for the avid RPG player. <3
The second one not as much, but still had good character interactions and relatively entertaining despite some of the bad points like not being able to choose race. I feel like that takes away from an RPG...

Well I will post when I get to it. I'm curious about what manner of world and game altering moral decisions I'm going to have to make. ;)

No, I pretty distinctly remember you telling me you'd gotten to some point I'd mentioned to you when I was playing the game.

Which means I must have dreamed that, which is incredibly bizarre. :p

Edit: What an incredibly vague sentence.
