It has some benefit there. To a degree I think I also prefer to see a movie "updated" rather than another sequel or prequel attached to a series that I don't think needs one.

It's just horrible when the acting is bad and.... they turn a classic in to a 'B' movie.

the trailer looks like it was from
the original movie, but I could be wrong.
