@Lucid: That sounds like an awesome program! I wish there were more like that out here. I do know that you could take a couple classes at the high school level that would count as college credit. Like Chemistry, we had a part time college professor teaching at my high school so it was nice.

I'll be going to college this September, providing I get the grades I need. I'm slightly worried about getting lost when I go, and whether the people will be nice or not. (I've had to deal with horrible people in high school.)I'm also hoping I can actually do work at the expected standard, because I know a lot of people have gone from getting As to dropping to Ds. D;
I don't like change much, so yeah, I'm quite worried.

I'll be taking fine art, graphic design, maths and English language. They suggested I take another subject, but I'm really not sure I can cope with another because I have trouble keeping up with deadlines and whatnot. An obvious option would be to take media studies or something because of art and English, but the media studies at the college doesn't seem very good, and a few friends that took it have complained a lot about it. xD

Okay, so I have a long, long story, but it's sorta the most hilarious thing that happened in college for me...and was so epic we apparently caused rules and legends.

So, my freshman year my floor was all pretty close knit. We'd do meals together, lots of shopping excursions together and all sorts of things(midnight movies and ben'n'jerrys were epic). We apparently went to war together too.

Our Brother floor was also pretty close knit and we had fun teasing them and heckling them. One night, we're sitting a couple tables away from each other and someone jokingly lobs a banana at them(or us, don't recall which started it...). The banana then got lobbed back and we started heckling each other, as we were wont to do. There was an upcoming talent show for the dorm and we started yelling we were better, they of course disagreed and then it happened. They said we were gonna loose, and that we were loosers. It was on. We declared war.

So, we all decamped from the dinning hall and headed back to our respective floors. We were in our hallway when the guys came running by with tiny bottles of water which they splashed on us. In retaliation we raided the Cup Collection of Doom(Pizza Pipeline, quart sized cups) and attacked them in their hall. After soaking the carpet, really badly, we were told to take it outside. Since we were moving to new grounds we all broke out our stashes of water guns, spray bottles and other things.

This is when we started gettin' organized. Our outside doors locked every time you closed them, and as our team needed constant water reloads we set up people at the doors and runners to and from the bathroom. We dreeeeeeenched them! The guys were constantly having to run past us to reload, while we were just taking them out!

BUT! our general(our RA) went down! She managed to fall and sprain her ankle in the fun. So we declared a cease fire, got her to the medical building then got her back to my room. We decided to camp out in my room since I had no roommate and we knew we could fit two mattress' on the floor as well as the two beds.

I think we watched some volcano movie...but! we then plotted how to get even! After all they seriously harmed the General! The next night we snuck onto the brother floor and penny-locked all their doors(with nickles, pennys were too thin). The night after we string-locked them in. Hilarity ensued with one of the floor members came in while we were doing it and had to swear he wouldn't tell the others.

It eventually dwindled away until the night of the talent show, when both our floors lost to an amaaaaaazing girl on a completely different floor. But yeah, now there's big posted signs about no water fights inside, and people that started school well after we all left know about it :D

I've other stories, but that's my favourite...oh, and please do not do this at your dorm, yadda yadda yadda...insert 'good role modle stuff here'->

I just finished my first year of college and I have to say it was pretty drama-filled.
Let's just say I never hung out with the same group of people for more than maybe 3 months max.
I'm kind of dreading next year

How big was your school?

Also, there is no shame in finding a nice corner. I do that at certain points when I need to think.
