I'm not a big fan of Robert Irvine... He's all up in people's business trying to play Chef Dr. Phil. XD I do like the Food Truck Road Race though. It has it's interesting moments.

I've learned a lot from watching Chopped about food combinations. It seems weird but all of their crazy improvisations has helped me improve my cooking and try things I normally would not.
Why yes, that is a Danny Phantom below me.

We're all mad here.
My niece spotted Duff (Ace of Cakes) at the airport and got an autograph from him.

I liked watching Food Network Challenge when it was on. Now it's shows like Halloween wars and what not and I'm not as keen on those. They seem to focus more on surprises than on what people can do with a cake or whatnot in the time frame.

Not a big fan of Irvine either, or Bobby Flay. My roommate liked Flay though. I like Alton Brown and name I can't think of right now...did The Surreal Gourmet...now does I think Glutton for Punishment.

That's so awesome. I love Duff. He's a goofball and I love that about him.

It's true, those shows aren't the greatest for talent judging at times. :/

Side note, I love your current avi. So jealous of the beautiful Egyptian inspired look. It's based more off the Greek sphinx though right?

Thanks. I'm wearing 6 Tomb Sentinels right now, among other things. That's the Egyptian themed item with the lion parts, minus the ears. Never really occurred to me that the sphinx appears in both myth sets. Huh.

Any shows you like in particular, Greenwood?

Very neat. It looks super good. :D Usually the wings are included in the Greek mythology and the torso and head is of a female whereas in Egyptian mythology the sphinx is mainly portrayed as male.

That's really sweet. What kind of dishes do you and your mom cook?

A lot of sphinxes probably showed up male because the Pharaohs were fond of portraying themselves as such, standing on the bodies of their enemies!

*twitch*
Food network makes me so hungry all the time, and I never seem to get over my craving for some really good fried chicken. We have KFC but the chicken is from those ill-treated places and is unhealthy...I have to make my own with grain-fed chicken soon. the craving: it won't go away.
I feel pretty :°D
