Already, I cannot remember your face
The thought of you reduced
to the specter of this flame
as I cast you away
and sigh the first breath
of the rest of my days

she looks at me, panicked
I tell her to run
to run with all she has
they won't stop
and I can't stop them
and she is all I have right now

there is a time to mourn the dead
and a time to cherish the living
but why mourn when another is still alive
and not beyond saving?

they're almost here
I can feel the hoofbeats rattling
rattling through what used to be ours
what we built together with our own hands
the quiet life we wanted to live

she's already out of sight
your pendant swinging wildly around her neck
maybe someday I'll tell her
tell her the story of how that amber came to be
and why we never polished that golden stone

but for now I close my eyes
against the incoming tide

and throw the torch to the wooden floor

Welcome, Come Inside look around, But be warned don't come alone,

For within are horrors that will melt flesh from bone...

Waiting watching from the corners of your fears and dreams.

You must be warned not everything is as it seems..

What may seem harmless and safe in your eye and calm your heavy breath

Could be the one thing that leads you toward your death.

As long as you follow me through this land of fright..

I can promise you everything will be alright.

But if you stray, Or wander with curiosity in your heart...

Your flesh and bone will be torn apart..

For as the red eyes look from the shadows the terror you will start to feel...

For it will be your last breath when the terrors take you for their meal..

Looking into the future as I stand in the present,
Thinking of the our past together, It wasn't pleasant.
I see the mistake I made when I let you into my heart.
I should have never been foolish enough to trust you from the start.

My heart was fractured as I said my goodbyes..
Yet, When I looked to you not one tear shed from your eyes..
It was apparent, that I was just your play toy all along..
And now, Because of you in a relationship, I feel I do not belong.

It leaves a bitter taste in my mouth to admit it,
But when we went our separate ways, Only you benefited...
