in other news, we heard about the new house: the title issue has been cleared up! the sellers want more money to delay settlement until october 21 (when we sell our current house), but we gotta do it, it's the only way that works. and we can't rent the (vacant) property for the week before, so we'll have to take the cats out there first to board them for a day or so. oof.

turns out the 'more money' is more of a deposit on the house to show that we ARE serious about the house. it'll come off the purchase price in the end.

yeah, i mean, i do get it from her POV as well. on the other hand, hubby and i may actually be able to actually save money for retirement, and no longer have to tetris the checkbook to pay bills. it'll be a wonderful feeling.

Faun's finally escaped the grasp of Universal Music, so they're going back a bit to their old more pagan style. (Under UM, their stuff was a little more... uh... tame? Family-friendly?) I rather like it.

I lean druidic and shamanic nowadays. Still agnostic towards deities, but it’s… strangely comforting to feel like you can’t physically and scientifically see everything.

None that have come forward, yet. I generally don’t do substances, and my actual dreams are… mostly unpleasant. Feel like, maybe if bond more with the flora I keep around (I live in the middle of a desert, so it’s a bit difficult), maybe the fauna will be more inclined to poke their heads in every so often.
