Batty; I think you'd really like this soup my grandma makes that's my favorite. It's like a 'summer' soup and the only soup I am willing to eat vegetables in and it's pretty light and easy on the stomach, and you eat it with rye bread and some cheese. (Tho' it'd be hard to get Finnish quality rye bread and cheese in the states.)

I make something a lot closer to crepes and then I make an oven pancake that you eat with a little bit of ice cream and strawberry or raspberry (or blueberry) preserves.

It can't be just a southern thing. I mean hell even Dr. Pepper has been making it's way up, I found a few bottles in FINLAND.

Preserves are the bomb. Especially the sugar free ones, that have like... almost no calories in them what-so-ever. I get this kind called Polaner. And two tablespoons? 5 calories. Max is 10. Which I can do EASILY. I've been doing a lot of sugar free stuff as of late, which is most likely why my blood sugar is fucked. xDD;

But that soup sounds AMAZING. If you could load it up with veggies, I'd love it even more. xD; Especially since I don't like chicken noodle, tomato, or really any other kind of canned soup. I love it when my mom does homemade Matzo Ball. She doesn't do it often though.
