i used avg once but something horriblke happend and that program backfired on me and made it worse. and avira........ killed my labtop last time OTL

AVG is not a virus. o_O
I have talked with professionals, and they say an AVG, not even upgraded, is good enough for home uses to keep computer safe. And it has not betrayed me.

i used avg for a long time until one day it refiused to update, uninstal, or instal a better version on top of itself o__O;
but normaly i would use it

Well, you do have to run the scans your self, lol, and I guess it can be a little heavy sometimes, but it's good enough, imho.
