I don't flatter people, I say what I think. All avatars you make are so ethereal and special, with gorgeous colors you put together in ways no one else can. It's not about absolute difference, and you are creative in ways I can't imagine also. I don't really see similarities between your avatars, beside backdrop and wings and that superb, elegant and frail style.

Ok on another note! I was thinking this weekend that we should have a small "Endeavor" (rather than a contest) and I am not sure how to work it. I have a "theme" only it is not a theme but just a set of colors to use and I propose that we all try our hand at it tomorrow. We don't even have to change, just take a picture from our own dress up page. I will then post them on the front page and we can discuss them. Shall I set up the Endeavor for tomorrow maybe?

Also, that sounds absolutely awesome! A good spice to the thread, gives things do discuss, like ideas why we made it as we did, not somehow different, since same colors for everyone.

That endeavor sounds like fun, but unfortunately I will be on a road trip all tomorrow. I do love your current avatar Uma, Natural Brown 5 is one of my favorite colors and it looks just beautiful with the purple and pale yellow.

That's nice to hear. It's always awesome to help others. :3 I read somewhere that you were a moderator for Gaia? That's pretty nifty, where did you moderate? And what was it like moderating for Gaia?

And by "sets", I mean doing a certain amount of stuff at a time. So not just doing a tiny portion and then chatting on here, but rather doing a large amount and then taking a quick break to do whatever I want. :3 I hope that makes things clear.

I re-applied for college this year, since when I last applied a few years ago, after accepting and beginning that program, I realized it wasn't right for me and stopped. Now I know for sure that what I'm applying for this time is right for me, so I'm psyched and can't wait to start in September! :D However, I'll also be taking a couple individual courses starting this January and ending in April, as a means to not only learn about the stuff I'll be taking, but also to get back into the feel of studying. X3

@Uma- I don't go to gaia anymore. I have had issues with some of the way things where run in the past and I simply haven't been on except to lurk once in a blue moon since 2008.

Oh he has not edited or produced, just done special effects. He has credits on Spy Kids and some Star Wars games and some others which I forget the name of the films but one is by the people who did that Blair Witch Project, but the name is not coming to me. And he also does free lance 3D modeling for other things like one was of eyes for a medical company for example.

Being a Gaian mod was a great experience for 5 years. I was a regular "site" moderator so I worked in any forum really. I was happy to be able to help out at a place I went to every day and I really loved the place (during that time). Then I got married and got so busy with work so I stepped down and now I just move threads in some of the forums which are misplaced.

How nice that you have found a good program. What do you want to study? Yes, bio...sort of. Well in the "Meet the Staff" you wrote some things about yourself so I just noticed it there today and read it.

Cora well I don't blame you one bit. There were a lot of people with unfair issues and yeah...things were not always very fair. I agree. I'm sure that is still an issue.

You bet Lucid! I am not sure of the timing of when I'll want to post entries or how to do it. But I think just host on photobucket or something. I'll try to PM you soon.

Ah, special effects. That was the term I was looking for, but my brain had misplaced. >.< I've seen a couple of the Spy Kids movies, I still have a VCR tape of the first movie AND it has Chinese subtitles too! XD

Ah, that thing. I don't really think of it as a bio, just a place where users can get to know the staff a bit. :3 I plan to study in an activation co-ordinator and gerontology program. I love helping people, especially those of the senior, child, and disabled persons variety. Plus, with the geriatric field being a growing one, I figured why not enter that one? ;) Though my plan is to finish this program, get a job in the geriatric field, earn some money, and study more programs. :3 I love to learn, so I want to keep studying and studying if my money allows. <3

Hehe Cora, I don't mind your ranting, but perhaps others might so we'll talk about something more pleasant. Like how'd you get your username anyway, I was wondering because some old friends of mine named their daughter Cora so I have good associations with the name. ^^

Arikana I liked being a Gaia mod, it was like a fun hobby in a way. But sort of a job hobby and was helpful at the same time. I've always enjoyed problem solving and that is half the battle of moderation. So I dealt with a variety of issues like arguments and trolls, things like that, all across the site. It was a lot of fun at times and challenging too, but then one gets married, I have other things I need to do now, other things I like. I moved on I guess.

Awesome, geriatrics is very helpful and gerontology a much needed field, I applaud your efforts. I like to study too. I am learning Hindi and it is very difficult when all I know is English. I am becoming literate too in it. I read of your own language skills. I am very envious of you, lol! There is so much wonderful stuff out there to learn.

Ok I am going to insert our "Endeavor" into the first post. I will try to do that tonight. I have it worked out I think. I hope it is understandable.

On side note, I only role played on Gaia back in 2007-2008, I wasn't even sure what is avatar site back then and started using those only around 2010-2011. So, I can't really comment. xD

Well, you're now the second former Gaia moderator on Tris that I know of. :o Maybe I'll keep running into more at this rate. :P That would be cool. I love hearing about stories and job details from former moderators as it's always good stuf to know when on a forum community. :3

I teach you what I know of the languages I know and you teach me some Hindi? Of course, not know though. I mean later when we're both a bit more proficient in the languages we're learning still. X3
