"Actually... No. I started as a dragon, to be honest. Then I received my elven form. I have hair to match my eyes in that form. The only thing about me that's as it was originally are my eyes. I was stuck looking like this as my 'default' look when I was born into darkness. I was, originally, 'under cover', if you will."
She was hoping that telling him all this about herself wouldn't frighten him off. As it was, she had no idea why she was sharing so much about herself with a virtual stranger.

[Fey]

"Ah, well, then...I somehow think my tiny flat isn't the place to see the 'real' you. But I sort've feel like I need Cliff's Notes to keep track." Idly playing with her hair, he was the first to admit he was a sucker for a set of lovely locks. "But, still, I stand by what I said, it's you I'm attracted too...but I will probably forgo the scales..."

[Kenly]

Smiling softly, she reached over and let her fingers trail across his chest before letting her palm rest in the middle.
"Truth be told, my dragon form isn't much larger than Biscuit. I'm not very intimidating. I'm what's known as a Fairy Dragon. We're not aggressive unless we really have to be. I can't even breathe fire. I breathe fairy dust. It's annoying and makes you glow in the dark, and is hard to get off, but beyond that... it's not dangerous."
And as for Cliff's notes, you'll have to keep it all in your grey matter. If certain people found out about me, it could be... detrimental. Being one of the last females of my species... Let's just say we're highly sought after."

[Fey]

Tugging playfully on her curl, "Fairy dust 'eh? Should I clap to indicate I believe?" Placing his other hand over her's on his chest he felt her skin, a bit warmer than it was. "And I highly doubt anyone would believe me if I tried to tell them, most of my friends are so set on real life issues they'd assume I either read a really good book, or had a medically induced dream."

[Kenly]

Wrinkling her nose at him when he mentioned clapping if he believed, she smiled.
"Oh, honey, you don't need medication for good dreams when I'm in your head. I'm better than any dream you could have. I know. I've seen some of the ones people have."
Laughing, she leaned against the hand playing with her hair.
"You know... I could leave you a lock if it'll help your fixation."

[Fey]

Flicking his eyes to her's he gave a faint blush. "Sorry, I won't lie, I do love your hair. But it's prettier on your head than on my dresser." Stroking the side of her head as she leaned into him.

[Kenly]

Laughing softly, she turned to kiss his palm.
"It's ok. I was just teasing. I never tried going back to the way I used to look because the truth is... I love this hair. It was longer before, but... I love the look. I love the color. So why try to change it?"
Curling up closer to his side, she gently pulled her hand from beneath his to trail up his arm and gently cup his face, content with just looking at him for the moment.
"I'm really glad I met you."

[Fey]

Turning his head he kisses her palm, "And I you." Tugging her into his embrace he held her close. He could still feel the residue of the thoughts and images she'd sent him during 'feeding', but he didn't want to take their relationship to another level just yet. He was just happy to hold her.

[Kenly]

Happy to simply be held, she started humming softly, the sound gradually turning into a quiet song she had learned as a child.
"Wille ai dulin... atara yello lle... i' menel mori... ar' i' palurin naraka... gad manke varna... gad urnu ar' anfaug... wille ai dulin... atara yello lle..."

[Fey]

Tal didn't have an ear for languages, but the song was surprisingly soothing. Cradling Kenly he let the words float around them, his mind picturing a long ago set of lovers doing the same.

[Kenly]

As she sang to him, she let the images of what the words meant filter into his mind, along with the meaning:
Fly little bird...
mother's calling you...
the sky grows dark...
and the world is harsh...
stay where it's safe...
keep warm and dry...
fly little bird...
mother's calling you...

When she was done singing, she looked up at him to see his reaction. She let her fingers lightly trail across his abdomen again, running small circles as they moved.

[Fey]

"The lyrics are lovely, and so is your voice. I bet that song makes you recall growing up with your family huh?" His mouth formed a bitter twist, "I wish I had good memories like that to associate with."

[Kenly]

Sighing, she snuggled closer.
"Not really... My family was my sister at that time. I kept to myself a lot as a child. Nature was my friend. My teacher. That was a song that we were all taught.
And, sometimes the memories you make for yourself through-out your life... They make up for what you don't have from younger years. At least, that's what I've come to find. However... I have lived much longer than you, regardless of how old I look."

[Fey]

"Yeah, you are a bit older than me.... I believe this is a bit much even for a May-December romance," he teased. Better that than to dwell on his past. Sure the memories he'd made were mostly good, but it couldn't ever overshadow the bad ones completely.

[Kenly]

Giggling, she kissed the side of his neck.
"Looks like I'm a cougar. Though, I must say, my 'prey' is quite lovely. I think you rival me nicely."

[Fey]

"Wow, I've always wanted to date a cougar," growling playfully he rolled her over and leaned over her, resting most of his weight on his elbows. "And you're lovely, I'm manly, we pretty boy-toys take exception at phrase," he winked.
