Have fun with your new food choices, Neko.

Do you like fresh vegetables? One of my spring/summer go to foods is very low calories and no points. I make a chopped salad with fennel, red cabbage, carrots, beets, green onion, jicama and any other vegetable that sounds good.

It's a flavor explosion and I don't think it needs any dressing. It's good just as it is, imho. :D

The other thing that really helps is using a lot of herbs and spices. You can make otherwise bland food become a symphony of flavors.

My current favorite is making stir fries with freshly ground ginger, freshly ground tumeric (watch out for stained fingers with that) and garlic. If you want even more flavor, spray some olive oil into the pan first and throw some mustard and cumin seeds in there and heat until they start to pop. Absolutely delicious!

oh i will be using a few of those things with the meals i picked out! the ginger and garlic cloves seem to be in everything i want to try making LOL

I've been tracking my hunger and how much I eat and it's weird but the days I don't eat breakfast are the days when I'm wanting to scarf down all kinds of things at night. XD

Been trying to at least have some veggie sausage or some seafood snackers if I don't have anything else.

Research shows that most thin people eat breakfast and a lot of overweight people don't. There really seems to be something to the increased metabolism in the morning when you eat.

I try to exercise in the morning to boost my metabolism too. Then by the time I'm done, I'm usually hungry enough for breakfast. ;)

welp good thing im a start eating breakfast! small breakfast but still breakfast lol

i would but im not really a morning person and the job i do now really hurts my hands and arms so im only gonna work out on the weekends

Any exercise is good exercise. It's fascinating to see all of the research coming out about it. We've known for decades that it helps our mood by releasing the feel good brain chemicals (beta endorphins and such) but the latest research is showing that it helps our cognitive functioning and keeps our brains younger. Plus the increased circulation it provides helps our skin to stay more younger looking too.

My exercise is walking and/or dancing around the house in the morning. I can get my 10,000 steps in that way.

I was never a morning person, but after about 3 months of getting up earlier to exercise I'm finally at the point where I miss it if I don't do it. :D
