[Liethell]

"I suppose it is, but I'm supposed to look blind here." He grins and takes Vincent's hand in his and begins walking in one direction, sweeping the cane over the sidewalk as he goes. "You get some really sweet benefits when you're blind sometimes."

[Yokuutsu]

"Yeah, but you could still tell me what kind of food." Vincent says, kind of snorting a bit. He hasn't been in this area and so knows nothing about it beyond he knows it has a mcdonalds more than likely, or something like it. He just shakes his head a bit. "You're horrible."

[Liethell]

"How about pasta? I love pasta." He grins, "Plus this place gives me great service. Look for a sign that says Othello's." The sign he mentioned isn't on this block, but is some ways down. It's a bit of a walk, but Liet doesn't seem bothered by it.

[Yokuutsu]

"Pasta is always good." Vincent says simply as they walks. "Alright then...what's good there?" He asks a bit randomly as they keep on. After awhile, he sees the sign. "We're almost there." He says simply.

[Liethell]

"A lot is good there. It's not great. It's just good. I like anything with their cheese on it, that's particularly good, but again, it's not great." He rambles on, and the ridiculousness is not in his odd choice of words, but rather in the seriousness with which he speaks about the matter. It's as if whether or not the Othello's down the road has great food or good food has a large impact on his life, or perhaps he's simply rambling to cover up his thoughts...

[Yokuutsu]

Vincent can't help but giggle. "I don't really think anywhere has great food...they just had different good foods." Which, of course, everyone's definition of good or great differs. He just watches Liet, tilting his head a bit. "You're acting a bit different....why?" He's not completely oblivious to this not being normal and all.

[Liethell]

"Different?" He gives him a strange look. He's not looking right at him though, he's looking at something slightly to his left and behind him. "I don't know what you're talking about. I think it's honestly shameful, the way Othello's treats it's pasta. No loving care at all, humph." He shakes his head.

[Yokuutsu]

Vincent tilts his head a bit, he doesn't know why, but it worries him a bit. It could be an act...since he's supposed to be acting blind and all but it just feels weird a bit. He looks around a bit, partially to see where they are...he has never been here before...and to see if he's actually looking at something. "Do you not want to go there then?"

[Liethell]

Liethell isn't looking at anything interesting. He simply missed Vincent's face. Thankfully, Othello's is right up ahead. To Vincent's left is a street with many cars parked along the sidewalks, but very few cars actually driving down this way. There are restaurants along both sides of the road, as well as a hipster-ish record shop, a hookah bar, a candy store, and some breed of comic book store with signs proclaiming when and where their Magic: the Gathering tournaments happen.
"Of course I want to go!" He grins and waves him off. Apparently, the pasta isn't all that shameful..

[Yokuutsu]

Vincent likes this area, it has interesting things. Or maybe the other places had interesting things and he never stopped to see them. He isn't sure to tell the truth. He might have been worried about other things at the time. He snorts a bit, shaking his head at his words. "Well, for a moment it sounded like you didn't." He says, smiling a bit. He just leads the other inside and everything.

[Liethell]

"Oh don't mind me. I'll eat anything, but only certain things really earn my praise." He grins as he walks in. Some server just outside waves to Liet, but stops when he remembers the older man can't see. "Good evening Liethell, who's your friend?" Liet pats Vincent's shoulder, and he tries to look at this server, but the crowd is slightly noisier, and he winds up looking at part of the wall as he speaks.
"Vincent is my cousin, I thought it'd be nice if I show him around while he's in town. Could we have a table?" To which, the server smiles, "Of course. Could you follow me?" He asks the second question to Vincent. It seems he's the leader here, as Liet is holding his cane off the ground. Inside, it's a little too narrow to be swinging a cane everywhere, and it's a busy place. It smells lovely.
They're seated by a window, and Liet places his cane on the sill, so nobody kicks it down. They're given menus, and the smiling blonde that is their waiter pulls a notepad from thin air. "My name is Brennan, and I'll be your waiter for the night! Can I start you off with anything?" He's looking at Vincent as he speaks.

[Yokuutsu]

Vincent laughs a bit. "Pretty much all food is good in my opinion...unles it tries to kill me or something." He smiles a bit at the server. He nods a bit, leading Liet to the table and all. His stomach makes hungry noises as he can smells the place. It does smell kind of tasty. Too bad not all food places smell tasty like this.

He looks at Liet at the question. "You know what you want?" He's horrible when it comes to places with menus...especially new places...it takes forever for him to decide what he wants beyond the drink.

[Liethell]

"Yeah, I'm getting my usual." He smiles and leans on his elbows, watching nothing in particular. "I usually have the tortellini. Best thing on the menu." He offers Vincent his big smile, and Brennan chips in, "I can always come back later to take your order if you like."

[Yokuutsu]

Vincent snorts a bit. "And what's that?" He has to ask. "Well....I can try what he said...because I can take forever staring at choices." And he isn't lying because he will debate, in his head, on the merits of one food versus another and all.

[Liethell]

"Of course, two orders of tortellini, and would you like anything to drink Vincent?" He's writing down the orders. It's unusual how fast he writes, and how he can write without looking at the paper. Liet nudges Vincent. "It's just a kind of noodle with meat inside. I think they use beef here. It's delicious."

[Yokuutsu]

Vincent just nods a bit. "Sweet tea would be nice." He grew up where the beverage of choice was sweet tea. It's the way he rolls. He just smiles at Liet a bit. "I haven't found a noodle yet that I don't like." He says simply.
