Well, they couldn't afford the supah special events anymore, from what I gathered. But, yes, it sucks about the cold shoulder against user events. >.<

Ohh well i've been on there for so long, and nothing much has changed. There's nothing new to excite me. Plus they only bring out monthly items, there's nothing new - and hasn't been in 3 years i've been there. Apart from the odd extra item some months. The events are boring coz they're uncoded. Great for people like me who don't have time and just want to buy the items though. But they said something new was coming and we're still waiting. And there's been no GBA and no Quest raffle for over a year, and no sign of older items bein circulated. At this rate i'll never see a boa lol.

Aha, because basically no one is selling runes. It's rune drought and famine right now. I can't afford to buy it at your price, but if I could, I probably would, too. xD

Err, well, doesn't the auctioneer have some older stuff sometimes?
And Trisphee isn't always bursting with new things, too, but they do happen to come every now and then.

My guess is they just say that to keep the complainers happy. And what would be new? Clothes? Most things have been recolors and ideas stolen from others sites. *cough*gaia*cough*

Well, what can be new on avvie site in general? Some new items, clothes? Events that bring items? Where is that pinch of salt and spice that makes avvie site interesting? isn't it actually the community it self?

Yeah well they've got a couple of different currency's which is pretty awesome. And the items are nifty. I really love those bundles.

@Silver - Yeah very true. I hardly see any of the staff around anymore either.

@Rainy - Yeah that is true, but see theres nothing going on in the community. Least gaia has like that comic thing where things get all interesting and stuff. On there it's all the same threads, that have been around or years and years lol. And then they do a contest, and it sucks coz you have to be an artist to enter it. I hate when sites do that. It's like HELLO not everyone is a super epically awesome artist.

Well, in events there are other contests, and you can't expect others to make new super epic threads, you can try to do it your self. Here, too, you must put in effort for the site and community stay interesting.

It doesn't have to be new events, items or clothes to breath live into a site. It the care and interest you see from the staff and owner. Which in turn makes members interested in the site. Though new items and events do help.

I agree with silvy. I mean even if you do try to make new threads of interest, it's hard to draw people away from the threads they frequent most.
Its not even about the community, the place just seems dead.
