I used to eat cereal with ground flax seed sprinkled on it. Got sick of the taste and texture. It was supposed to help with some my... female health problems.

Also, Halo (Ocean's Halo?) makes seaweed chips. I've been able to find them at Wal-Mart (US).

Depends. I personally would probably find it a little odd — dried seaweed is too dry, and normal seaweed has a v slippery texture that might not go great with other fillings.
