He stood there a few moments before lowering the blades and putting them back in the sheaths. Though he did keep one hand close to where a dagger was, he was hardly putting his guard down. He didn't hear anything as he waited, he was expecting at least a arrow to be shot at him or troops to be rushing to the area if it was a scout that he heard before. Though both seemed to not happen, odd.. he thought to himself before he started walking thinking it was better to leave this spot at the least.

He was planning to scold the dragon once he found a safer location to do so in but for now he kept his noise to a minimal. He wasn't sure if he was alone just yet, but apparently if there was someone in the area they didn't know his location either. Rhyldrin wasn't about to play this game to wait and see who found who first.. not this early in the morning. Not with the odds against him in this situation, the disrupted sleep not helping any though he did have a few good hours worth so if combat came up he'd make due.

He probably got off at least four or five steps before the dragon suddenly jumped from his shoulder and darted off into the forest. "tsk damn it!" He hissed out before he moved to go after it. 'stupid lizard.. where did you go' He was tying to find it and keep his location hidden. If he didn't locate the thing soon he'd leave it, though it was odd to think he was even wasting this much time looking.

It scurried along the forest floor as it spotted a girl standing there, being curious and a attention whore it walked up to her with a soft cooing sound. It just wanted attention and it's small size probably wouldn't scare anyone, though dragons in these parts were very rare. The creature had smelled the girl and thus why it ran over to her, it was probably too friendly for it's own good at time and probably Rhyldrin's as well.

Hearing the coos he smirked knowing it's location though about the time he noticed it's location his ears went back as he drew his swords again. 'tsk...' that's not what he was expecting to turn a corner and walk into. His weapons were drawn as soon as he noticed the bow though it was unloaded for the moment he knew too well the speed archers had even at this range a shot would be fetal.

The dragon hardly seemed worried as it sat in the distance that was between the two of them before letting out a yawn. Rhyldrin was hardly amused, sure he remembered the red hair.. but that didn't mean the outcome would be the same with her having the upper hand even with a unarmed bow. 'should have just left the damn thing' he thought to himself, he felt like a idiot even bothering to follow the damn dragon it'd have come back.. it always did.

Judith turned as she heard the little dragon cooing, she stared at her confused as to how such a creature could be out here. At first she wasn't too sure what it was, but then it became clear that the creature was a dragon. From it's size she assumed that it wasn't that old. Probably a few months, maybe a year or two but she wasn't really sure. She brought her attention to the trees that surrounded her. Did it have an owner and was that person near? She wasn't sure if she should approach it or not, though it didn't seem to be a threat. Then again maybe it had been trained to lure unsuspecting people into a trap.

Judith slowly approached the little dragon, she brought herself to her knees and reached out one hand very slowly, she didn't want to frighten the poor creature. "What's your name?" she asked softly, when the dragon nuzzled his face against her hand she smiled. "You just want some attention, don't you?" she asked. Judith began to scratch under his chin, then behind his ears. Judith couldn't help but laugh quietly to herself, the dragon was acting like a kitten.

He sighed under his breath thanking everything she didn't seem to notice him. That's not what he needed she'd surely call for help if she encountered the same dark elf twice within a 24 hour period.. Though he was a bit annoyed he had to retrieve the dragon some how.. or he could leave it with her couldn't he. It's not like the beast had done him any favors and really he wasn't losing anything by leaving it with someone else.

The dragon coo'ed more and purred as she paid more attention to it. It was hardly use to getting what it wanted, it was with Rhyldrin after all he didn't have time to attend to it's wants when they were in the middle of a war zone. It rolled onto it's back before wiggling back and forth against the ground.

Rhyldrin was still staying where he was trying to think if he wanted to leave the dragon or not. She seemed to have her guard down for the moment and she wasn't really paying attention to say the least 'why the hell would they send someone that's so easily distracted to the front line?' He had to admit the elders of her kind must hate her or something for them to send her out here. Granted she was a good shot that was certain..

Putting both blades away again he sighed before stepping out from where he had been stalking her and the hatchling. The dragon quickly rolled back over to stand up before trotting happily over to him. he had both hands up showing he wasn't holding a weapon, trying to prevent her from freaking out and drawing her bow. Though even if she did draw he had a few other tricks to avoid getting killed here.

He glared at the dragon as it walked over to him. "you get me into more trouble.. " he hissed at it. He half wondered if the goddess hated him or something or wished to see his death sooner then later. Though granted he did go against the messenger to the goddess.. or also known as the Queen of the dark elves but still!

The dragon cooed at him though he wasn't amused by it before he spoke again "You better take that elsewhere, your already in trouble without trying to be cute... " After he made sure he wasn't going to get a arrow as a greeting he'd take his leave. If he knew it was this girl again he would have had a bit more fun with this but he didn't have the upper hand this time.

Judith hesitated to attack the Dark Elf as he showed that he had no weapons. Why attack someone who had no intention of attacking her? Though she wouldn't let her guard down as she had just moments ago, she should have known better. Of course the dragon had an owner, it seemed friendly and wasn't afraid of her. It would make sense that it was use to Elves since it was the pet of one. Judith stood from where she had sat and kept her eyes on the Dark Elf. Is this the same one? she thought as her eyes wandered over his body. Her question was answered when she saw the familiar scar under his eye. How many Dark Elves could have that? His other features were also familiar.

She had to try very hard not to smile at what he had said to the dragon. The little dragon had made him come out from where he was watching her, she wondered why he had allowed it to come along with him if all it did was get him into trouble. "Why bring him?" she asked him curiously. Judith kept her free hand by her side, preparing herself to defend herself if needed. "If all he does if cause you trouble it doesn't make any sense to bring him along." she smiled at the Dark Elf, she couldn't hold it back.

He wasn't sure if she was going to attack or not at first. Though he did lower his hands but it was also in case she decided it was better to try and shoot him. Really he could have killed her when she had her guard down, but why waste the energy on it. she said before she didn't want to kill .. so why bother killing someone who isn't a killer her eyes still looked as innocent as the other day.

The dragon cooed more and pawed at his leg. Getting another glare from Rhyldrin the dragon snorted before trotting it's self back toward the girl. It was only doing this because she had given it attention before and it knew all too well Rhyldrin was mad at it for running off.

The girl's question of why he brought it along was a bit sudden. He gave her a slightly unamused look before answering. "I didn't let him go anywhere, I left him at home, where he should learn to stay before someone decides to cook him as a meal.." He still held one hand near a dagger he wasn't going to trust this girl not after the last encounter. Though he had to admit the last one was fun in it's own way.

This was hardly the best place to be chatting with a light elf.. probably only a mile away from the camp he had scouted out last night. He was asking for a death wish wasn't he. "tsk really if you want him you can keep him, it'd be doing me a favor" He said out of the blue, the dragon seemed to like her enough why not leave it with her. It'd be her problem then and not his, though at his luck the damn thing would still go off and find him or he'd end up running into this girl again...

"whatever your choice I'm leaving. I hardly feel like being killed or tortured today.. heh let alone with the odds stacked against me" He smirked a bit with a slight gesture towards the direction of the camp. Though a second later he turned and started walking away from her, sure it was probably stupid to put your back to a archer.. but he some how didn't see her wanting to draw and kill him.

The dragon titled it's head watching Rhyldrin walk off a little before it looked to the girl again as if waiting to see her answer. Apparently the creature wasn't as dumb as it acted. Though really Rhyldrin had reasons for cutting this encounter short, he heard a few more footsteps being not too far off. He knew that was probably a patrol group and that's not what he needed to cross paths with during the day time.

Judith watched the little dragon as he came back to her, her smile became bigger when he began to paw at her leg for attention. "Why would you keep him if he's so much trouble?" she asked then looked up at Rhyldrin. She was a little confused when he told her that she could keep him. Though if he was just going to leave the poor thing here then she would gladly take it back to camp with her and care for it. She would have to hide him though, she didn't want to think about what the others would do if they found out that she had a dragon. Judith had heard about them before, though this was the first time that she had seen one. They were rare and she had never heard of one with white fur either.

She really didn't know what to say to such an offer, though it seemed that the Dark Elf really didn't want to keep the little dragon anymore. She heard footsteps behind her and quickly leaned down, Judith reached out her hand and when the little dragon climbed into it she quickly placed him in her pocket. "Stay in there and please be quiet." she whispered to him. When Judith turned her eyes met her brother's, he didn't seem too happy to see her.

He never bothered to answer her as to why he kept the dragon, really he didn't have a answer. It had provided company for all the times he traveled alone. Even if it was a bit of a handful from time to time. Either way the dragon was better off with her then with him. She seemed to care more for it at the least. Besides that he wasn't sticking around to see if she took the dragon or not he hardly cared to be honest. If she didn't then the creature would probably track him down later.

The dragon seemed to understand as it kept silent as he was placed in a pocket. It wasn't sure that this was such a good idea, and it half wanted to follow Rhyldrin. Though for now it seemed to know it was better off staying still and keeping it's head down. The dragon was very uneasy with the presence of this new male that was near Judith. The aura he put off was nothing but death and blood lust...

Rhyldrin had barely covered enough ground to prevent himself from being seen. 'geese ... cutting this a little too close' he warned himself before he checked this new comer. His eyes narrowed seeing the red hair.. this elf seemed familiar... There was no way this was the same damn one that gave him the scar all those years ago... red was far from a common hair color for light elves and what were the odds of two of them being in the same area like this.

He had half a mind to get the jump on this new comer. revenge would be all too bitter sweet if this was the same one from when he was a child. Though that's about the only thing that clicked into his mind, the fact that the girl was probably the one from his childhood as well. From the looks of things this was also the general of this little camp. That made this all the better. Now he needed a plan of some sort.. at the moment the girl was too close she'd be in the way for a clean strike.. sure he could kill her in the process but it was better to get the killing blow in the first strike then it was to miss.. he wasn't going to chance the rumors of this general's skill being true.

"Judith, what are you doing here?" her brother barked, he always found a reason or two to pick on his sister. Brishen stood straight, his shoulders back and he looked displeased as always. If something wasn't perfect or at least the way he wanted it then he wasn't happy. Though even if things were as he wanted them he still always seemed displeased. Judith couldn't remember the last time she had seem her brother smile, even as children he was always sour. "What does it look like I'm doing?" she asked him, she seemed to be mocking him. Brishen narrowed his eyes and looked over his sister. "Nothing, that's what it looks like. This is the second day that I have heard of you acting strangely, what is causing this behaviour?" Judith hesitated to speak, she really didn't know how to answer that other than telling him the truth. "I'm not acting any different than I usually do, you must be seeing something that isn't there." she laughed quietly to herself. "I can't stay around and chat for much longer, I have to watch for Dark Elves." As Judith turned to leave her brother took hold of her wrist tightly. "I swear, Judith." he hissed under his breath. "If I find out that you're lying-" Judith pulled her hand away from his. "I'm not lying, you can leave me alone now." Judith walked away from her brother, though she avoided the direction that the Dark Elf had gone. She could feel her brother's eyes on her, if looks could kill then she would certainly be dead right now.

Judith finally turned once she had walked far enough from her brother, her eyes wandered over the surrounding area making sure that he was gone and had not been following her. She was thankful that he had not followed her because he could really hurt her if he wanted to. He wouldn't even hesitate to do so once he found a good reason to. Judith let out a sigh, relieved that she was finally alone. Except for she really wasn't alone, she had nearly forgotten about the little dragon that she had hid in her pocket. She reached a hand inside on her and smiled when she felt the little dragon nuzzling himself against her hand. She wrapped her fingers around him carefully and took him out. "You're not that bad," she said to him then brought him to her shoulder, when he perched himself upon it she tickled under his chin. "You just want some love, don't you?" she mumbled as she continued to spoil him with attention. "I'm going to keep you," she laughed quietly when the little dragon cooed happily. "Though you have to be quiet and behave, I don't want anyone else to know that I have you." Judith brought her hand away from the little dragon and he chirped happily.

How am I going to keep you? Judith thought let out a sigh. I will have to hide you under my bed or bring you with me whenever I leave. I wouldn't want you sneaking out to follow me then one of the other Light Elves capture you. I will have to train you and feed you, what have I gotten myself into? Judith's eyes wandered over the forest, she wondered if that Dark Elf was following her, perhaps he had been the entire time. If he was and if he decided to try something then he would get a nasty surprise. Judith wouldn't allow him to get an upper hand, even if he had a knife to her throat again she would find a way to get out of such a situation.

Sure he over heard the conversation but he figured he'd wait.. striking now seemed to be a poor idea. 'tsk you keep enjoying your breath while you can' he thought to himself before making his move to distance himself further from the area. He was pretty sure that was the same damn light elf from when he was a child... he was hardly going to let him live for long if he had any say in the matter.

Though his thoughts on the subject were disrupted as two figures walked near him. "Mighty close to the light elf camp aren't you there Rhyldrin?" One hissed out towards him as he walked closer.

"tsk whats it to you, I already declared that I want nothing further to do with the Queen's wishes... leave me" His ears went back suddenly and his one hand seemed poised and ready to grab a weapon to lash out at the two who were following him. He had left the area long before the general and the girl were done talking.. so following her wasn't his intention if they happened to cross paths again.

"So what are you planning then.. you never make a move without some plan behind it." The second elf prodded at him trying to get a answer. Rhyldrin was hardly amused by his sudden company. "Fuck off already, I'm not in contract with you or your commander... so you don't have to keep watch on me" He hissed suddenly as he turned to face both of them.

The both seemed to avoid stepping too close this time around, apparently they weren't ready to test how many buttons they could step on before Rhyldrin lashed out. "just seems odd for a dark elf to hang this close to the light elf camp is all.. though you did mention you had found some new form of pray" The first one grinned a bit as he spoke.

Rhyldrin had a idea of what was going through their minds but it was funny to him as he laughed at their words. "I did.. I found a little bird to play with for the time being" He never mentioned this bird as he called it had claws and a sharp beak. "But I learned something today.. and I'd advise you pass this message along to your commander as well... " He glared at both of them "stay out of my way..." was his final words to them before he turned and started walking again.

The two just stood there a few moments before they bothered moving again but away from Rhyldrin this time an probably back towards where the commander was. Sure he wasn't the best fighter but Rhyldrin could hold his own at the least. But he got a bit of added respect due to the fact he wasn't under the queen's command. So killing his own wasn't out of the question for him and it's something he had been forced to do once before a few years back.

For a moment she remained where she was, she wasn't too sure what she wanted to do for the rest of the morning. She wondered if she could sneak back to camp and sleep without being disturbed. Though if she was caught there then it would give her brother a reason to bother her and she didn't want that at all. She wasn't in the mood to deal with any Dark Elves or Light Elves, perhaps she could find a spot in the forest where she could rest her tired mind. Judith's ears shot up when she heard unfamiliar voices, at first she couldn't tell where they were coming from but as she slowly moved closer three Dark Elves came into view. One of them being the one that she had encountered twice now. Judith kept herself low and told the little dragon to remain quiet.

When the two that she had not seen before left the little dragon climbed down Judith from her shoulder and happily trotted up to the Dark Elf. He cooed and pawed at the Dark Elf's leg for attention. Judith remained hidden for a few seconds, wondering if she should reveal that she was there or not. Though, she wanted to ask the Dark Elf a question. She had heard the others speak his name and she remembered knowing a Dark Elf when she was a child who was named Rhyldrin. She wondered how many Dark Elves could be named that and decided that it couldn't just be a coincidence.

She finally stood from where she had been hiding and cautiously approached the Dark Elf. Her eyes scanned the surrounding area making sure that no other Dark Elves remained, she hoped that no other Light Elves would appear either looking for her because she was causing her brother trouble. Then she brought her eyes to the Dark Elf, she looked over his face curiously. No wonder she had recognized the scar yesterday, she remembered when they had first met he had been wounded. "Rhyldrin?" she tilted her head as if she were a curious animal. Would he recognize her as well? "I knew that I recognized that scar." she added then smiled.

"tsk bastards watching what i do like that" He hissed out once they were out of ear shot, he had half a mind to track that commander he seemed to piss off and kill him for sending his soldiers to watch him. Though he thought more on that and decided against it for now.. they hadn't crossed him just yet.

Though he did remember hearing the damned dragon again as he looked down and sighed "damn I can't get rid of you can I ... " Though his sentence trailed off a bit noticing the girl was standing there looking at him oddly. "I can'y get rid of you either? Geese why the hell am I popular today" He was merely joking but it was odd that she seemed to seek him out this time, though he wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing when it came to light elves.. let alone one with a bow.

He seemed weary of her asking his name, sure she probably just over heard it from the conversation just now but why question it. "Recognize... how can you when I've never met.... " He seemed to think on something.. the general of the light elf camp here had her hair color. His face seemed to change a little to more of a blank stare though it was a mix between that and the fact it had just dawned on him he threatened to rape her not just the other day.

"Damn it your that weird girl!.. shit what was the name..." He knew it, it was one he said on a daily basis till the war really started up and she stopped coming to the forests edge. "Janet, Jamie .. no ah wait it was Judith right?" He still wasn't sure he was right or not but this was a bit odd for him anyway, though maybe she wouldn't think much on the words he had told her the other day.

The dragon pawed at his leg again as he looked down at it and crossed his arms trying to ignore it. "Go to her I already told you that your a pest.. you nearly got me caught today.. twice!" The dragon snorted at him annoyed before he stomped over and sat at Judith's feet. Really he didn't mean half of what he said to the lizard, but he did think it was better off sticking with the girl instead of following him around.

"Judith," she said confirming that that was her name. Though he now knew who she was she still kept herself away from him, weary of what he could possibly do to her. The other day he had held a knife to her throat and had threatened to do harm to her in more than one way. They had been friends as children but now they were meant to be enemies and nothing more. Judith had wondered where Rhyldrin had been all of this time and deep down she wondered if she would ever run into him on the battlefield. It was an awful thought because what would she do if she had to kill him? Though she always assured herself that it was probably impossible that they would ever meet again or at least recognize each other all these years later. It had been ten years after all. Judith had stopped seeing him shortly after her thirteenth birthday due to the rising conflict between the Dark and Light Elves.

Judith wasn't too sure what else to say to him. Asking how he was was definitely out of the question, he probably had no interest in small talk with her. Perhaps it would better for her to leave him be, eventually they might meet again but it could end in bloodshed. She didn't need to build a relationship with him, it would only make things difficult. "It's sad that we have met again under such circumstances." she finally said, her eyes didn't leave him.

He kept his arms crossed though it was more of the fact he had no idea how to even react to her now. He had really forgotten about her, all this time he had no idea if he had killed the one person who he had enjoyed spending time with as a child. What was he suppose to say to her, he had every intention of killing her brother let alone the other day if she hadn't pulled that dagger he would have done whatever he wanted to her. Had it really been that long he hardly kept track of time.. over ten years and she still had the same eyes.

He looked away from her when she spoke again, trying to still get his mind around the thoughts of everything coming back to him. "Like it would have happened under any other conditions.. " was his short answer to what she had said, though he had a point the war was back and forth and the end seemed to be no where. Though .. it would be nice to have peace back even if there were minor conflicts. 'Now your being stupid.' He scolded himself for even thinking that things could go back to the way they were.

Though after a moment he did go back to looking at her with a bit of a smirk. Sure he wasn't one for small talk but he didn't hear any others coming to this area so it was safe enough for the moment. "Its still good to see you again.. to admit it I had forgotten most of our time together till today heh... " He was probably being a bit bold with his next sentence but it's how he was or at least now anyway he had changed a bit from how he acted as a child. "the years have been kind to you I see" Sure he didn't really need to add it but he hardly cared what she thought, given what happened yesterday it's not like he could say anything worse then that.

The dragon flipped it's tail being annoyed that it was being ignored by both of them but it soon turned and pawed at Judith's leg before whining a little. He knew he shouldn't just stick around.. it was almost asking for the light elves to find out. Let alone her brother seemed sharp.. he knew something was up even if the girl said nothing. Though getting caught and taken to the commander of the light elf camp didn't seem like a bad idea.. it could work out.

"I suppose not," she said then shrugged her shoulders. She couldn't help but find it awkward at the moment, perhaps if they did speak a little bit more she would be more comfortable though she didn't think that that would happen. Judith had to be careful, even though they had been friends as children didn't change the fact that they were now enemies. He could easily strike her when he least expected it, though she wouldn't strike him unless it became absolutely necessary. "It's too bad though, isn't it?" she asked then smiled at him. "There really is no longer a reason for the war to continue but it doesn't seem as if it will end any time soon."

Judith snorted with laughter at his comment. "Do you always flirt with the enemy?" she asked, she seemed to be teasing him she smiled at him warmly. Ever since she was seventeen men took an interest in her and as she grew older it seemed as if they wanted her even more. Though she never thought much of her looks, Judith was rather attractive. She even caught some of her fellow soldiers eyeing her every now and then. Though that could always just be because she was one of the only women in the war. She hesitated at first but then brought herself closer to him, her eyes wandered over Rhyldrin. "I could say the same about you," she almost whispered it, the words rolled off of her tongue.

"one day.. " He sighed a little, if his parents had just gotten through all the years ago this wouldn't even take place .. though the king back then would have never listened so nothing probably would have changed in the end. "The sides will figure out it's point less shake hands and be done with the whole damn thing one day .. we'll look back on it and laugh calling them idiots in the process" He said everything with little to no regard he was talking about both leaders of both races of elves let alone insulting them both in the same breath.

He kept his smirk as she asked her question knowing the answer was all too easy. "only the cute ones, so not often" He teased her. not that she had to know but he did commonly flirt with any woman he pleased, though that's all he did. He never stayed in one place long enough to do anything else and he saw anything further as being a distraction instead of just a game.
Really he wasn't just saying it because of her looks currently.. he always was fond of her so to speak. He always was a few years older then her even as children so it was only nature that such thoughts crossed his mind before hers... he was fifteen back then after all.

He still debated if he trusted her getting closer, but at the same time this was turning into a game for him even if it was a deadly one or at least one that had the potential to be deadly. "heh.. now I know your lying" He laughed at her, that was hardly a comment he got.. aside from one. And it was someone he'd rather see dead in a ditch then to hear the words from her lips. What was she trying to pull here.. he was a bit curious as to why she was being forward, it would seem the Judith he knew as a child had changed a bit.

"That mouth is going to get you in trouble one day you know that?" He said with a bit of a laugh, though he kept his thoughts to himself of why he said it. At first he had felt like he should be saying sorry for the other day but if she was going to act like this he almost thought she would have enjoyed it. Though he'd have to watch himself he was getting a bit carried away with these little comments and teases back and forth.. this could end him up in trouble if she was toying with him.

Though thinking on the idea of her toying with him, he had to admit he'd hardly mind. But at the same time he didn't want things to go too far either, not here. Somewhere else he might let them take course and see where it ended up but here he didn't have the luxury of taking that chance. Really not wanting to find himself corned by light elves at least not today.

"so when should we end this little game hrm?" He smirked a little still keeping his eyes on her, though it was for two reasons one enjoying the veiw.. the other was because he wasn't sure he trusted her just yet to not pull a blade and threaten his breath again.

"Hopefully that time will be soon, it would be nice to see the Dark Elves and Light Elves finally getting along. Though it would take some years for both to accept each other, ending the war and bringing peace between both will be a good start." Judith looked down at the little dragon who began to whine once again. He crawled up her leg, using her clothes as a latter to bring himself to her shoulder. He perched himself there and let out a soft yawn, it was barely the afternoon and he wanted to nap already or maybe he was bored from not receiving any attention.

Judith bit her tongue, afraid of what might slip from her lips if she didn't. She had become quite the flirt over the past few years, Judith had been with men before and if she really wanted to manipulate Rhyldrin she always could. Though, she wouldn't do that to him because of their past and she didn't believe it was necessary at all, she didn't need anything from him. Besides, she didn't think so little of Rhyldrin that she would do that to him. She knew that he wasn't an idiot, even as children he was rather smart for his age. "Cute?" she purred, she had not been called cute before. "That's the first time that someone had called me that." she added, her smile became even bigger.

"Have I ever lied to you?" she asked teasingly, Judith wondered how far she could push him before he did something rash. Though maybe it was better she left before any urges overcame him or any overcame her. "To be honest I always found you rather attractive, is that a bad thing?" she looked at him almost innocently. Judith took a step back and threw her shoulders back in a shrug. "I suppose that it can end now, we can't really be caught speaking to each other. Can we?" though she knew that she had to go she really didn't want to. Her skin was crawling with excitement and her heart was pounding in her chest.
