Serus growled at Seth, her eyes glowing, "Do it now." She gathered up some power, breaking his hold on her as she stood. She brushed herself off, then looked to Holden, "Forgive my bluntness, but that matter does not involve you Holden. It's far too complicated for you." She narrowed her eyes slightly, wanting him to drop the topic.

Holden sighed, "I don't care Serus, there is a lot of things I don't understand." He said looking to Seth. "Like how in the hell did my soul get put in a Paladin's body." He said looking back to Serus. "Or how in the hell could Solomon ask his closest friend to kill him..." He said standing up. "Or how could I not save my best friend, and my sister and Melody from death." He said getting angry. "That slayer didn't want them he wanted me. I-..it..." He trailed off as he started to cry. Holden sat down still crying.

Melody adjusted herself on his lap, pulled a small handkerchief from a pocket on her dress and gently whipping away his tears. She quickly stuffed it back in her pocket, 'Holden don't be sad...you did your best.'

Serus sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose, "Dammit Holden! You think it was easy for me? Not to mention, him?" She seethed for a moment, causing a window to shatter. After a bit of silence, she spoke calmly, "You want to know what I went to talk to him about? Fine. I'll tell you."

She crossed her arms tightly over her chest, "That slayer, wasn't technically a slayer. He was a Mercenary, and a very unpredictable man at that. Your aunt never planned on actually taking you to court. She knew that she'd loose the custody battle and decided to just enure her victory. She hired him to kill you and and Solomon. The man wasn't mentally stable and once he got involved in killing Solomon, he thought 'Why stop? I've already gotten my money. Let's make it a smorgasbord.' He killed everyone just for fun. I was going to tell Solomon this, but he wouldn't hear a word of it. He demanded that I either kill him and he'd find someone else. I figured, if he's going to die, might as well be with dignity."

Holden tensed up when he heard that it was his aunt that caused all of this. "That fucking bitch! And I bet she didn't plan on the fact that I left everything to Seth." He said putting Melody down on the floor. He looked at Seth who was still on the floor. He looked to Serus, "Thank you for telling me the truth Serus." He said standing up. He walked over to her and gave her a small hug. He then kneeled down next to Seth, "Take me to my aunt." Holden said grabbing Seth's shirt.

Seth nodded and teleported to Holden's aunt. "Don't do anything stupid, you still are human." He said brushing himself off.

Holden nodded and pulled out the knife Seth had in the small of his back. He walked over to the chair that a black hared woman was sitting in. He put the knife in his belt, he then put his hands on the woman's shoulder's and started to rub them, he leaned down "Hello Auntie." He said in a whisper.

The woman jumped when she felt hands on her shoulders. She tensed when she heard the voice, "Th-..this isn't possible." She said not moving.

"Oh yes it is." He said walking in front of the woman. "Do I remind you of someone?" He asked with an evil smile.

"H-..Holden? How, I saw him kill you." She said stuttering.

"Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner. You know that was stupid hiring someone who was mentally unstable to kill me." He said rubbing her cheek with his hand.

"I'm sorry Holden, I just needed the money." She said flinching as he rubbed her cheek. "I didn't know he was going to kill Amanda as well." She said as her eyes teared up.

Holden's eyes narrowed, he quickly pulled out the knife and put it to her throat. "Don't you ever say that name." He said twirling the knife on her skin.

"Holden?" Seth said walking closer to him.

Holden glared at Seth, then looked back at his aunt. "Your lucky I'm not a vampire, because I would destroy you if I was." He said with a smile. "But you will have to deal with this." He said as he swiftly moved the knife down to her heart. "I love you auntie." He said sarcastically as he jammed the knife into her heart, killing her after a few jerks. He pulled the knife out and ran it across his tongue. He looked up at Seth.

The woman started to cry as she felt the knife move from her throat. "Please." She said as the knife slammed into her heart.

Seth sighed as he watched Holden kill his aunt, "Come on. Now I am gonna hear an earful from Solomon." He said grabbing Holden and teleporting back to the study.

"I will take the heat from Solomon. I am the one that killed my aunt." Holden said as they appeared in the study. He slammed the bloody knife into the table. "All I know is that I feel cleansed." Holden said with a content smile.

Seth would feel a slight tugging at his shirt until he disappeared all together. He would soon reappear in a foreign house and a rather tiny study. He would also find Solomon leaning on the desk, his arms crossed over his chest and his eyes glowing red.

Melody frowned as Holden put her down; she wanted him to carry her. She nervously glanced to Serus, her fingers twiddling with some ribbons from her headdress. It wasn't long until Holden had come back. She stepped away as she saw the knife, nervously signing, 'What did you do?'

Serus was about to scold Seth when suddenly he vanished. She blinked, surprised. "Oh dear...Holden, you really over stepped this time..." Not wanting to be further involved, she disappeared as well, appearing back with the twins and Annemarie.

Seth sighed and ran his hand through his hair, "Go ahead and yell Solomon or hit me whatever." He said knowing that's what was going to happen.

Holden looked at Serus, "How did I over step?" He asked as she disappeared. He then looked to Melody, 'You don't want to know.' He said waiting for Solomon to swoop in and yell.

She frowned, 'You did a bad thing..didn't you?'

"Don't be so nonchalant about this Seth! You knew what Holden was going to do, and you didn't do anything. 'Don't do anything stupid'..like that was supposed to stop him?" He lifted his one hand, pinching the bridge of his nose, threatening to break the cartilage. "You're rather lucky, Seth. I don't know whether to beat you or yell at you."

Holden just nodded.

"Solomon, I know. But he has to make his own decisions." Seth said with a small sigh. "Do whatever you want to do to me." He said knowing it wasn't good to argue.

"And you need to get your nose out of his issues and grow a backbone for yourself. Learn to say 'No', dammit." He shoved his hands deep in his pockets. After a moment of angry silence, he shooed Seth away with a wave of his hand, teleporting the vampire back to Holden.

Melody jumped a bit when Seth reappeared. With a slight frown, she looked back to Holden, 'Why?'

Seth sighed when he appeared back in Wisconsin.

"Because Melody." Holden said looking to Seth. "Well your in one piece." He said with a smile.

"No Holden! I only did this because I knew you wanted to rid yourself of your past. And look at that, next to Melody, Alicia, and Solomon you have." Seth said running his hand through his hair. "You really need to get over your shit Holden. It isn't an enduring quality." He said looking to Melody. 'Sorry, are you ok?' He asked kneeling down.

Holden was slightly taken aback by Seth, "Seth I know all of this already." He said crossing his arms.

"Than why did you do it?" Seth asked glaring at Holden.

"Because she killed everyone I cared about." He said raising his voice.

"No Holden! She isn't the person who killed the people you cared about. You are, if you would of just stayed here in America, and let her see Amanda she wouldn't of made it a point to kill her and you." Seth said standing up.

Holden narrowed his eyes, "Amanda was my sister and responsibility. I had every right to keep her away from my aunt." He said clenching his fists.

"You may of had that right, but you didn't ask Amanda what she wanted did you? You just continued on your path to destruction. Dragging Amanda halfway across the world, just because you didn't want to be here." Seth said pointing at Holden.

"I did ask her, and she said that she didn't care. She just wanted to be with me!" Holden said crossing his arms.

"That may be true but she isn't here now is she?!" Seth said with red eyes.

"No she isn't and do you know why it is because of my aunt! Not me!" Holden said getting in Seth's face.

"Holden you should know that it isn't such a good idea to get in vampires face when they are angry. Because," Seth said grabbing Holden by the shirt and lifting him up. "We tend to kill." He said pushing Holden into the wall. "Now I suggest you slow your role in my house. Or I will make you." He said showing his fangs. "You need to talk to Solomon. And when you get back I better get an apology." He said teleporting Holden to Solomon. 'I'm taking you back to Mystic.' He said picking up Melody. "Close your eyes." Seth said waiting to teleport.

Holden didn't falter when Seth put him up against the wall. "That doesn't scare me Seth." He said before he got teleported to Solomon. He sighed when he saw Solomon, "So how much are you going to yell at me?"

Melody fell to the floor as Seth began to yell at Holden. When he went to pick her up, she wanted to scoot away, but she didn't. She knew that his anger was at Holden, and not her. She shook her head as he mentioned Mystic, 'I don't want to go back yet. I have to apologize to Solomon first.'

Solomon narrowed his eyes, just staring at Holden. After quite some time, he sighed, standing up off the desk with a slight shake of his head, "I have nothing to say to you right now. Seth pretty much summed it up for me."

Holden flinched when Solomon moved, "Solomon I'm sorry, at the time I thought I need some level of revenge. I know I am and was wrong." He said sitting down on the floor. He looked to the floor, "I'm sorry for slapping you earlier. And for not eating, and just for everything." He said laying back. His shirt and jacket came up showing his indented stomach when he put his hands behind his head. "I wish things could go back to normal, but I know they can't and never will." He said with a sigh.

"Was this your house B.N.H. (Before New Holden)?" He asked sitting up. He looked around the study, "It is cute." He said looking at Solomon, with a small smile. He stood up but felt dizzy, he shook his head, and looked back at Solomon. "Can I say I'm sorry again?" He asked walking over to Solomon. Holden stopped about a foot in front of Solomon.

Seth sighed, "You can apologize to him later. I have a feeling they will be awhile." He said closing his eyes. "I will talk to Mystic when we get there, and ask him if you can come back later." He said with a smile. "Plus my girls are going to be home soon, and I don't want the to break you." Seth said as he teleported to Mystic's house.

"I deserved the slap Holden, I'm not mad at that. What bothers me the most is you never talk to me about how you should handle something. You went behind my back with your mother, your aunt; twice, you ignored my advice regarding that girl form Paris, and I suddenly have the feeling you'll go weaseling behind my back to be turned." He went back to leaning on the desk as Holden came over, "No you can't..." He was silent for a moment before continuing, "..until you've had three proper meals."

Melody pounded her fist on Seth's chest once, 'But I promised myself I would. I have to..right now.' She was forced to close her eyes as Seth teleported them. She looked around to see the rather strange interior of Mystic's house. She crossed her arms, looking away from Seth with a pout.

Holden looked down at the floor, "You didn't talk to me about my mother." He said flinching. He shook his head, "Don't comment to that. You.." He trailed off as he lost his concentration. He rubbed his head, "What did you say?" He asked going over the conversation in his head. "I suddenly have the feeling you'll go weaseling behind my back to be turned." He whispered Solomon's sentence.

He paused for a moment trying to figure out what Solomon meant by that. He looked at Solomon, "I wouldn't do that Solomon. At least I don't think I would." He said pausing for a few moments. His thoughts were getting jumbled up, "Grr I can't think." He said grasping his head. He looked up to Solomon, "I wouldn't go behind you back to get turned. I will be turned when you say I'm ready." He said pausing again. "And the way I can't keep my thoughts together is showing that I'm not ready right now." Holden said closing his eyes as he thought.

"You will when they get back." Seth said with a small sigh. "Mystic, I'm here to drop off Melody. Holden and Solomon are talking right now." He said looking around the house.

Solomon sighed, "We didn't really get a chance. I had to act before you would end up doing something...I was almost too late but Alicia swayed your mind.." He kept his face void of any emotion as Holden became flustered. "You need to eat," he said mater-of-factly.

Melody wrinkled her nose at Seth as she looked back to him for a brief second before looking away.

Mystic appeared in just a loose shirt and some black pants; his wings currently hidden. "I'm expecting a visit from Solomon myself soon...Melody wasn't supposed to go near Holden; according to him. I have a feeling he won't be as mad like he was with you. I'm sorry, I didn't mean.." He took Melody from Seth, replenishing her energy while he was at it. Why not right? "I just wish things would settle down, so I can give her to Holden and I can be left alone again." He looked to Melody with a frown, "Not that I don't enjoy your company, I just can't have you running around here all the time. If the Council got wind of you, you could be in serious danger. The farther away from me and Azriel the better."

Melody looked at Mystic, a sad expression on her face. 'But..I want to see you. You're so nice to me. I promise to behave.' She quickly wrapped her arms around his shoulder, letting out a silent sigh.

"Can you send or take me back to Seth's and Serus'? I can't walk on water." Holden said a little sarcastically. "Sorry, I didn't know where that came from." He said looking down at the floor with a sigh. He palmed his head, "Stop." He said talking to himself. "Can you?" Holden asked slightly pleading.

Seth sighed, "I don't know Mystic, and quite frankly I really don't give a damn." He said rubbing his hand through his hair. "I knew Holden was going to do that, he needs to learn things his own way. I just..." He trailed of composing himself. "Sorry, it's just that I am getting a little stressed out here. I'm training my three kids, I have to watch over my damn brother. Make sure no one finds out that there is six almost eight vampires under my room. Plus the damn servants." He said with a sigh. "Again sorry. I will talk to you later Mystic. my daughters want to see me." Seth said with a wave and disappearing.
