Storm clambered up a hanging ladder, took a flying leap, and landed on the dusty rafters. Craawling to a less precarious perch, he snuggled between the wine barrels and closed his eyes. I wonder why she was looking at me strangely...

Storm woke up, forgot where he was, and did an unsightly roll over the edge of the rafters, grabbing the side of a beam through pure luck. Er....that may have been bad... Swinging himself over and back onto the platform, he shimmied down the ladder to see if anyone else was downstairs.

Shen smiled, her lips parting ever so slightly to show a gleam of white teeth, though she did not mean to. For her, showing your teeth was a warning... a threat... she did not want to threaten the woman before her.

"Hello," she said to the white-garbed woman. "It is getting cold out. I thought a touch of cider would go down well before venturing out into the growing gloom again."

Shen chuckled. "Just home... to the wood. I am technically a wild creature, but I am just as much woodland spirit." She sipped the sweet beverage. "Hm... needs cloves to make it truly good. And some cinnamon," she mumured to herself.

"Are you headed anywhere in particular?" she asked of the woman.

"I should think that is nice... to go where you will. I am forced to remain near the wood. This inn is as far as I can leave my home. I am tied too closely to that place. So, unless you wish for a very short journey indeed... you probably should not come with me once I become weary of human company to return home."

Shenandoah settled back and pondered for a long moment before speaking once more. "May I have your name, Lady?"
