Ducky, which cronic lung disease? I know some of my problems are actually diseases but the result of malnorishment in my first few years.

I have Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia, which is an incredibly rare disease with similar symptoms to Cystic fibrosis, along with other things.

*Looks it up* Seems like it'd be uncomfortable to live with. My lungs simply don't have enough room to expand and frequently end up with tears because of my ribs.

I must say your condition seems a lot worse than mine. My lungs are rotten in the lower 10%, which has lead to a loss of capacity, constant infections and so on. Now that I have been diagnosed it's pretty easy to keep on top of. Just have to do Physio Therapy every day and some other things to 'empty' my lungs.

Not really. It just means I have to watch it and if I tear a lung I have to go to the hospital to get it cleaned out and stitched up.


You have to deal with infections which I absolutly abhor. And physical therepy is never very fun plus, the stuff you have to do to empty your lungs is probably rather time consuming.

i get chest eat and sinus infections fairly regularly. Also, a simple 24 hour bug can get me bed bound for weeks at a time. As far as daily upkeep to get on top of it all, it's only about an hour worth a day. I have a breathing technique to clear out my lungs, and through that I have developed a wonderful 2-pack XD My diafragm muscles are insane compared to the rest of me.

I wouldn't be able to survive that. I have to always beign doing something and I dislike being sick. And I don't have any muscles to speak of but I am strongish.

I'm 6"1, and weigh roughly 107 pounds. I don't know pounds, since we use 'stone' for our body weight here in Scotland. I can assume that it's fairly skinny though. I have no muscle at all.

You have me beat by alot. I'm only 5'4 and I'm 121 pounds. I've been told I'm lucky to have reached that height though as it was originally assumed because of my early crippiling health problems that were ignore I would never even reach 5 feet. My weight is pretty constant

I wish I could make it better, but I really can't...so I won't even pretend that I can. :'(

my condition, along with family genes, has lead to me being tall and skinny. It's literally impossible for me to put on weight. I managed to love 10 pounds by sitting on my butt eating fast food for 5 weeks...

@Ari, I live withit and I know it could be worse so I'm content.

I don't know my birth family's genes, and I personally hope I never do. But my adopted family are all tall and well-rounded, leaving me the odd one out.

as far as I can tell I've managed to get all the genetic defects my family posses, along with some extras. It's a little lame.

The wonders of genetics...NOT! Though that is getting more and more common as lines cross introducing diseases that never leave the blood line.
