He wasn't sure if he agreed with telling the children.. sure it was their right to know if he was planning to stick around. But at the same time five years ... that was a lot of time to a child. That was a lot of time that wouldn't be easy to make up.. he knew that but it was only because he had lost his parents when he was rather young. Hell even the work he could probably get would have a daily risk to it it's not like he could just go turn a new leaf at the snap of a finger. He sighed finally knowing she was right they'd have to tell them.. he really didn't want to be around for the reaction though.
"I guess it's more of when... " He was a little concerned about how they would take the news. They were use to having just Vrine and Judith around but to just suddenly tell them that someone that's not been around for five years and just suddenly showed up is their father... He saw this ended badly in some form or another. Though he didn't say anything about his worries, but the more he thought about the more he knew something was going to go wrong with this idea. The girl from what he saw was a little spark for sure, but he doubted either one of them would take to the news very well. "So when are we going to tell them.. heh I'm not even sure how you bring that up really.." He'd rather take on any foe then have to deal with this.. any day. This was hardly in his plans from a few years ago not that he minded deep down, but it was't his strong point and he had little to no knowledge of what to do with children. Vrine shifted again trying to find a spot to be comfortable in, he finally did even if he did look like he was squished.

Judith didn't know when would be the proper time to tell the children that Rhyldrin was the father. She couldn't just wake them up and tell them, she would have to wait. It wasn't appropriate to tell them at dinner or before bed so maybe she would bring herself to tell them after dinner when they had settled down and were playing with each other and Vrine. "You don't have to tell them," she said and Rhyldrin and looked at him. "It's going to be difficult to bring up but I think that I can manage to do it on my own. Please don't worry about it, alright?" she smiled at him even though it was hard to smile. Deep down Judith was all over the place. She had not expected to ever see Rhyldrin again and somewhere deep down didn't want to because of the children. She felt as if she was in his way of living the life that he wanted. Though she was also happy that she had crossed paths with him again, it really did seem as if they were meant to stay together. Judith looked over at Vrine curled up beside the two sleeping children. "He's never going to stop being an attention whore," she said and laughed. "I'm sorry that I ruined what training that you had done with him. I don't know too much about how a dragon should be raised but I have tried to be strict with him." she let out a sigh and returned to what she had been doing. "You're not going to get away with not eating this time," she said and looked over at Rhyldrin. "Don't argue with me or insist that you don't need food or that you're not hungry." then she went back to chopping vegetables.

"heh.." was his only reply to her saying he didn't have to tell them, really he was glad to hear it cause he had no idea where to start that one at. Though he did catch that she seemed to be forcing herself.. what was it. She wasn't as easy to read as she was when they were kids he could always pick out when she was thinking about something or when she was down. But now he couldn't, not that it was really a surprise quite a bit had happened over the last few years before the peace even he couldn't really tell what she was thinking. "you tell me not to worry yet I know damn well you have something on your mind.. " He laughed slightly "I think I should be the one telling you not to worry not the other way around."
Once she started talking about the dragon he sort of looked at the curled up Vrine and shrugged a little. "I didn't have him trained to begin with.. just simple commands.. I was training him like you would a dog. Thats the best I had, everything I had looked up on them said they were sensitive dragons and that the environment they were raised in affects them." He sighed a little before going on "But I hardly know what that means.. he's been raised like a house pet for most of his life." Though he was still trying to figure out what they were going to do with him once he got some real size to him.. the dragon wouldn't stay small for long and at his full size he'd be larger then the house easily. "I wouldn't worry about it too much, he seems healthy so you must have been doing something right" He said towards her though he was still a little lost in his own thoughts. He was about to say something else when she suddenly told him he wasn't getting away with his normal lines and to not argue with her. He held up both hands as a sort of sign of defeat before he spoke "Wouldn't dream of it.. not while your holding a sharp object anyway" He smirked a little, really he probably didn't have to worry about her and her skills anymore. Not if she hadn't practiced in a while.. but then again he wasn't about to test her too much either.

Judith decided that she would tell the children after supper, she told Rhyldrin and he seemed alright with the idea though really neither of them were alright with it. It wouldn't be an easy thing to tell the children that he was their father, she couldn't even imagine how she would begin to tell them. How could she possibly bring up that subject with them? Judith paused for a moment attempting to calm herself before going back to preparing their meal. After supper she had not brought it up right away. She thought that it would be better to tell them when they were settled in the living room playing with Vrine. She began to clean up but nothing could distract her from her thoughts. Judith wandered into the living room after she was done cleaning and was quiet for some time before the children looked up realising that she was there. She brought herself to where they sat, in front of the fire place. Judith brought herself to her knees and ran a hand over Vrine's head and smiled at her children. "There's something that I have to tell you two," she said it with ease but deep down she was nervous. Sophie and Vaden looked at their mother listening. "I know that this may be sudden but Rhyldrin will be staying with us." she said, Sophie tilted her head curious of the reason behind this. "Why?" she asked without hesitation. Judith smiled nervously at her daughter. Judith didn't really know how to tell them, though she eventually just decided to come out with it. "Well, he's going to be a very important man in your life. He has not been here for the past five years, but he will be here from now on." the children stared at her, both knew what she was saying but at the same time wanted her to be more clear. Judith let out a sigh, this was as hard as she had thought it would be. "He's your father." she said. Vaden smiled and hugged his mother, he was excited by the news though Sophie's face dropped and she seemed unsure how to react. Sophie stood, Judith did as well. "Sophie, what's wrong?" she asked as she examined her daughter's face, what was going through the little girl's mind? "I'm going for a walk!" she cried then ran to the door, she opened it and fled from the house. "Sophie! Come back here!" Judith screamed she ran to the door and peered out but she couldn't see her daughter anywhere.

Sure he didn't mind her idea, but what could he do they would need to know. Though the more time that passed he seemed to question if staying was a good idea let alone how could you ask someone or tell them that there was a person who wasn't here for the past five years was now going to be part of their lives. Either way he didn't voice his thoughts, he was sure that they'd find out soon enough how the children would react.
He didn't get in Judith's way of explaining, really he stayed very much out of the way not really wanting to know how the two reacted. Though he did hear the whole conversation between the three. Watching Judith run to the door after the girl he walked up next to her before speaking. "I'll go look for her." He felt like it was partly his fault anyway, the girl didn't seem thrilled about the news. Sure he had no idea really aside from a general direction the girl went.. but he could track someone far easier then Judith could in the forest that was certain. Besides that the girl hardly seemed to listen to Judith anyway so things couldn't be that much worse. (grr lame post is lame i will make up for it D<)

( Alright, since we have no clue where to go from here we will go back in time and change some things up. Back to when they first met each other again! c: ) Judith breathed in carefully afraid that the knife that had been placed against her throat would easily sink into her skin. Her snow white eyes looked into his. If this Dark Elf were to kill her then he would have to look at her in the process. Though she had her doubts that he would kill her, especially if she managed to get her own dagger. Judith didn't take her eyes away from the Dark Elf, even as she moved her hand slowly to her side. If she looked down he might become aware of what she planned to do and that wouldn't help her at all. Judith didn't want to die, she was still young and had a lot of potential. All she could think about was how her parents would react to news of her death, it would break their hearts and other Light Elves would be devastated as well. Though when she thought of her brother she didn't think that he would shed a tear for her. He never did seem to love her like a brother should. When she finally reached her dagger she slipped it out and didn't hesitate to bring it to the Dark Elf's stomach. She pressed it against his stomach, threatening to sink it into his flesh without a second thought. Judith didn't want to kill, it was the last thing that the poor girl ever wanted to do. She didn't even want to be involved with the war but the elders had seen something in her that she didn't even have. She missed her home, her parents and the other Light Elves. Judith let out a heavy breath, now wasn't the time to let her mind wander off. She had to concentrate. Besides the Dark Elf probably wouldn't spare her if he didn't have a good reason to. This was probably a very good reason to let her go. Even if he didn't die from the wound that she would give him, it would probably become infected and then he could die from that. At least she hoped so, if her life ended here then at least the man who killed her would die as well. "If you let me go then I won't harm you," she finally spoke. Judith hesitated to blink, she was afraid that he would slide his knife across her neck because of what she had accomplished. She cursed herself for being so unprepared. Yes, she was well trained with the bow but she lacked training in close up combat. Judith tended to avoid any close up action with the enemy, sometimes if she didn't feel threatened by an enemy she would remain silent as she hid allowing them to pass by peacefully. There was no need to bring attention to herself if it wasn't necessary. The other Light Elves in the war would be furious to learn that she let Dark Elves by without striking them down. It wasn't an official rule but they were always told to kill any Dark Elves on the spot. "I'm not afraid to give you a nasty wound if you decide to take my life."

He thought he had the upper hand this whole time, careless. To let such a mistake happen. His eyes narrowed a bit as his ears went back to show his annoyed mood at this little stand off they had going. She had the spot right no way he could survive if she pushed the blade there. 'tsk... stupid you now better then to leave their hands free' he scolded himself as he still held the blade to her neck.
Though oddly at the same time he seemed a little amused by this as she spoke. "you've got a little spark don't you" He grinned a bit he didn't trust this girl not to push that blade as soon as he removed his that was certain. "Sorry but I can't follow such a request... not when you have just as much of a advantage here as I" He kept his eyes fixed on hers trying to read her. Though his mind kept going back tot he fact this could be the one who ends him if he played around too much or taunted her onward. Sure he could cut her neck easily.. he might be able to do it before she pushed the dagger into his gut but that was a risk that could be fatal if he failed to get away from her in time. 'tsk shit I don't want to let a damned light elf go... female or not what right do they have to live let alone here in the forest!' Truth be told he wanted nothing better ten to kill her. His talk about doing other things to her before were all in good humor or at least it was humorous for him. He didn't really want to die here either.. this was close to where the light elves patrolled commonly so he'd take a guess there was a encampment close by. That's not what he needed either to have a group of guards find this. He had to admit she did get the better of him though..that along was a rare feat. "ok fine how about this remove your dagger... I won't kill you. Even dark elves have standards.. " Though he was hardly happy about saying that aloud he wouldn't kill her, she did best him if it came down to it and a stale mate didn't seem like a smart idea to either side. He waited to see what she'd do, sure he could go back on his word and most would but ... that's not how he was trained or rather that's not how he was raised before his parents passed. He wouldn't take back his word not if she did as he told her to. Though the next time they met he'd get revenge for sure.

"I suppose that I do," she said to his comment about her having a spark. She kept the tip of her dagger against his stomach making sure that he could feel it's presence. "If you don't remove yours then I won't remove mine. It's as simple as that, I rather not die but if you choose to take my life then I'm going to take you with me." she said then smiled at the Dark Elf. Judith seemed confident about being able to kill him, even if he decided to take her life. Judith raised an eyebrow at the Dark Elf who still remained on top of her. She didn't really feel as if she could trust him, even though he seemed sincere about what he had said she knew that trusting someone so easily could end her life. Judith didn't even trust some of her fellow Light Elves at times, the war had done that to her. The war had even done more than that to her. Judith hesitated to remove the dagger from his stomach, she actually had to push herself to do such a thing. Her stomach was in knots and her heart was pounding so hard in her chest that she could hear it. "You seem sincere," she said and allowed the dagger to drop from her hand. It fell on the damp grass beside her and she breathed out heavily wondering if what she had just done was smart at all.

He hardly seemed threatened by her saying she wasn't going to remove her blade till he did so first. He wasn't going to let a light elf tell him what he had to do that was damn sure. He never moved a inch he was sticking to what he had said if she didn't remove her dagger he wasn't removing his blade from her neck. She needed to hurry up and make up her mind he disliked being this close to the light elf patrol area, he had made the trip this far for a simple scouting request to see if he could find what happened to the last spy they sent out this far.
He kept his eyes focused on her, though he was taking in a few features by this time. She really was a catch that was certain.. though he never expected that she'd pull a stunt like she had. If he made it out of this he might start up a deadly game with this one. Though he didn't give in any hints to what he was thinking about as he kept his ground. Her hair though... what was it the color was strange for a light elf, but something about it was eating at him like he remembered such a color from somewhere. He put the thought aside he didn't need to get distracted it'd give the light elf a advantage if he dropped his guard. That was a odd thing to say.. to a enemy anyway. He thought as she spoke saying he seemed 'sincere' After the blade had dropped to the ground he quickly pulled the dagger back from her neck and spun it once before it connected with it's holder. Afterwards he held both hands up for a moment to show he wasn't hiding a second dagger before he spoke. "Tsk.. can't believe I'm letting you live" He sort of hissed out before he bothered to get off of her. He had never been backed into a corner like that even some of the most experienced fighters wouldn't have thought to pull that off with a blade to their throats mere inches from death. He stood a few paces from here making sure that he wasn't giving her enough of a range to draw her bow and fire a shot off. Close range seemed to be her weakness and he was playing into that. Really instead of letting her go he should have killed her, but something in his mind told him not to. That sparing her was the 'right' thing to do... odd time to pick up a conscious. "where ever you came from.. go back to it the field isn't you place" He said coldly to her, he noticed her eyes.. sure she had killed but her eyes were still kind. She didn't belong here. He heard a few shouts not too far from where they were as his ears dropped back again. Though the girl seemed to get distracted for a moment, he guessed they were light elves. In her moment of distraction he slipped from view and left her there, from the sounds of the shouts they didn't notice he was there... they just saw the girl on the ground probably. Once he had covered a few miles he stopped and leaned against a tree catching his breath as he stood there. Curious, he thought why would they send a girl who had no real desire to kill? That was odd indeed. If she didn't take his advice and return to her home he might turn this into a little game of cat and mouse. He smirked at the thought, it had been a while when he last tried to enjoy stalking prey, or that's the way he thought of it. Somehow he didn't see her going home, not if she was the archer that was reported to kill without a sound. The two light elves that had shouted finally got up to Judith as one of them offered to help her up and the other quickly asked what had happened. They wouldn't understand that she didn't strike out at a dark elf so it probably wasn't a good idea to say that.

A Light Elf having dark hair was a rare occurrence, it was just like a Light Elf being born with darker skin or a Light Elf being born with darker eyes. It didn't happen very often, Light Elves usually shared the same characteristics. Fair skin, eyes as white as snow and light hair. Though those who were born with different features were not shunned. Other Light Elves envied them because they were different. Judith's mother was pleasantly surprised when her daughter was born with dark hair. As a young child her mother would brush it and whenever Judith wanted her hair braided her mother would tend to her hair. Her brother was also born with dark hair like hers. Though he would make a fuss whenever his mother wanted to tend to it. Judith flinched when he finally pulled his blade away from her neck, though he seemed to take his time to get off of her. She let out a heavy breath, relieved to still have her life. Judith found it odd that this Dark Elf was letting her go. Only moments ago he had felt so strongly about killing her, when she had looked into his eyes she saw nothing but a killer thirsting for blood. Judith had encountered some Dark Elves that fought with her even when they lost their weapons in a struggle with her. They had tried to use anything to gain a upper hand, to kill her. She remembered the feeling on ones hands around her neck. Though this one had seemed like those others at first, it seemed as if he had become an entirely different man even if it was for a short time. There seemed to be some good in him. "I don't have a choice," she said to his comment about going home. When she had tried to convince the elders otherwise they dismissed her and told her that she would be good on the battlefield. She wondered if they had sent her there as a cruel joke because of how much trouble she had caused as a small children. Though maybe they were just stubborn and thought that skill could push someone to be a good fighter. Judith looked behind her when she too heard the shouting, they were familiar voices. When she turned back all she could hear was the Dark Elf running away. "I'm fine," she said to the first man, she stood resisting any help from the two. Judith brushed off her clothes that had become dirty from falling to the ground. "I fell," she said when one asked what had happened. "I fell and hit my head quite hard, I don't know how long I have been out." she added then finished brushing off the dirt from her clothes. The two didn't seem too convinced that that had happened, though the didn't question her further. "It's a good thing that you two came along, even if I were still out. I don't want to know what could have happened to me if the enemy found me first." her eyes wandered over the surrounding area, wondering if the Dark Elf was still close by watching the three. Then she looked back at the two men, they seemed a bit on edge. "Let's go back to the camp," she said and pushed past them. Judith wouldn't tell anyone what had truly happened.

"Well did you find the missing scout?" Was the greeting he got upon returning to a small group of dark elves that were gathered in what seemed to be the middle of no where. "no... but I think I found that archer that's been picking us off" He grinned a bit. The others questioned the look he was getting on his face.
"But that's the last time I'm going out under your orders... " He glared at the one that was about to talk. "I'm no lap dog of the Queen I have no desire to get pulled into this war... I move to my own accord." The one stood up from here he had been sitting as he walked over to Rhyldrin and pushed him against a tree. "Your turning your back on your own people when your one of the best fighters we have next to the Queens own?" He growled at him as he spoke. "Tsk I'd release me if I were you" Rhyldrin warned him before forcing his hand from his shirt collar easily enough. "I'm not one of the Queens lapdogs I refused that off.. As i've stated many times I'm a blade for hire if the light elves gave me payment I'd not have a second thought for working for them" His eyes were cold as he watched the man who had just forced his back against a tree. "Now if your done trying to tell me what I can't do" The man glared at him before turning his back to him "Don't expect help then, though im sure you'll be back once the Queen hears of this" the man grinned a bit before turning back again though his grin dropped as he was met wit a blade that was mere inches from his nose. "If she wants me to follow orders she better issue them herself and it'll be after I've drawn my last breath... that or she better bring her wallet.." The man backed down though he wasn't happy about it. Rhyldrin quickly re-sheathed the sword on his back before he turned to walk away. The man was more then pissed at the sudden outburst. "Grr! What the hell if he thinking, we're in the middle of war and he picks now to declare that he doesn't give a damn" He slammed his fist against a tree before returning to the middle of the group that was still gathered. Really he was just tired of being sent on such missions, send him somewhere to put his skills to use but damn all the search missions that never came back with good news. He hardly seemed worried, and he wasn't so long as the queen had the war to deal with he knew he was safe enough. Also him and the Queen went a ways back.. his father was the head medic of the capital after all. She'd probably let him do as he pleased for now, really the war was in a stalemate as it was. Both sides pushing back and forth there wasn't any end in sight. This break off from the military command also allowed him to hunt down that little flower he had run into that day. He'd have to watch himself though she was quick to draw and fire that was certain. She had nearly gotten him.. even with that he wanted to keep with his little game. It was a risk that was rather exciting to him. If only he knew why his mind kept eating away at him that he should remember something. He didn't have time to worry about that now, or that's what he thought as he walked forward into the night. There was almost no fear for dark elves in the night's shadow, light elves couldn't see in the dark so the only way they could walk at night was with a torch.. and that was easy enough to see from a distance. The two light elves ensured that the girl got back to camp safely enough, though the story was a bit far fetched they left it alone. The dark elf she had run into today had a reputation of his won with the light elves... Though no reports that he ever let one live, it was also the very one her brother was seeking out from unfinished business from years ago. Though he didn't openly speak about the elf his men knew what they were looking for.But rumor was the one he wounded as a child was long dead, but her brother seemed to doubt this for some reason.

Though the Light Elves had continued picked at Judith for a while they finally gave up when she insisted that what she had said was nothing but the truth. "Why would you think that I was lying?" she barked at them, she was personally insulted that her fellow Light Elves didn't trust her. Though deep down she didn't trust any of them too much either. When they finally reached the camp she was greeted by a few other Light Elves who were curious as to what had happened to her. When Judith told them the same thing they looked at one another and didn't bother to question her either. She wasn't going to change her story at all for anyone. As Judith made her way back to her sleeping quarters her brother Brishen was waiting for her, his arms were crossed over his chest and he didn't seem too happy. "What is it now?" she asked him as she stopped to stand in front of him, Judith had never really liked her brother. As children he often teased her and hurt her, even now he was still cruel to her. Despite Judith being three years older than him, he was much taller than her and he was built. Brishen raised an eyebrow at his sister's question, she usually didn't speak to him like this. She would often be polite to him to avoid conflict. "You fell?" he asked her in a mocking tone. "I hardly believe that you just fell, Judith." he added then looked at her waiting for the truth. For a moment she thought of telling him what had really happened, but she quickly dismissed such thoughts. "Well, believe it or not that is what had happened." she said then slipped into her quarters quickly. Brishen didn't follow her, she heard him mumble something then walk away. She sighed relieved that her brother had decided not to bother with her. Judith fell into an uncomfortable bed that was just big enough for her body. Judith closed her eyes and couldn't help but think about the Dark Elf that had let her go. There was something about him, she thought to herself and buried her face into a lumpy pillow. What was it? His hair? No, it wasn't that. Judith opened her eyes and looked around the small room. There was something about his face, I have seen it before. There was something about his eyes. She brought a hand to her face and massaged her temples, all of this thinking was giving her a headache. Oh never mind, I'll never see him again anyways. Judith closed her tired eyes and began to attempt to sleep. It took some time before she finally did.

During the night he had ventured back towards where he had crossed paths with that strange girl. The one person that had given him such a close call.. his life was in her hands for a few long moments. It's annoyed him the longer he thought about it, he had let himself get careless thinking it was just a female. Stupid on his part, he thought as he paced the area trying to get his mind off of whatever was bothering it. 'Why do I keep thinking that I should remember something' He was frustrated with this as he left the area finding that staying here wasn't helping his thoughts at all.
Though he was hardly done with the girl... he could toy with her a bit longer if he ran across her again, the odds were they'd send her into a similar area. He knew the direction of the light elf camp and was dangerously close to it in his traveling through the night. It was just a small camp, he counted maybe 50-70 heads strong.. a few more then he could take on by himself that was certain. Though he wasn't looking to start a fight just yet either. Quickly leaving the area he at least had a better idea of what he could expect in this area.. that meant they'd have at least ten patrols during the day a few scattered about at the night hours. The rest was just to prevent dark elves from gathering a few units together to take out the encampment. As it grew closer and closer to being dawn he made sure to cover enough distance to prevent any patrols from crossing his path so he could rest during the morning and peek hours of the day. Though this was a little risky on it's own, he probably should have abused the cover of the Queen's men for a bit longer. But he was use to sleeping with one eye open so to speak.. he'd just have to watch himself. Though he did put enough distance between the light elf encampment and himself to prevent the normal patrol range from crossing his path.. if they sent anyone to just walk the forest that didn't mean they wouldn't run into him. He did try to pick a spot out of the way and in a darker section of the woods. Aside from that he was staying up in the tree, like hell he was about to sleep on the ground, though the tree put him at a disadvantage if a archer spotted him. But that was a risk he'd have to deal with if it came to it. The light elves and dark elves had a few small skirmishes before day break came around, some close to the camp of the light elves seeing as Rhyldrin did pass that information along. It'd be wise for the light elves to move the camp.. but they probably wouldn't not with the general of the camp being Brishen.. his name even had meaning over in the dark elves area. He was well known for being ruthless and taking captives to get information out of them before killing them in some brutal way. Most stayed clear of the camp just to avoid crossing blades with Brishen... Rhyldrin thought things a little differently, being this close to your enemy kept him on his toes and it was also the last place they'd probably look for a sole dark elf being a few mere miles from their base. He'd hardly care if he crossed this so called dark elf slayer.. he'd test the rumors to see if his strength was able to hold true.

Judith had spent most of the night tossing and turning, it seemed like her body was protesting a good night's sleep. She was having nightmares again, they always seemed to come back when she began to think that they would leave her alone. Every hour or so she woke up, her throat felt dry but her entire body was drenched in sweat. At one point she became restless and left her sleeping quarters to take a brief walk. It was always the same dream she was being chased by Dark Elves or some sort of creature that she had never seen before, she couldn't really tell what it was before she abruptly woke up. She would sometimes wake up screaming, though no one questioned her behaviour or asked if she was alright. Other men suffered from nightmares, it was common. When Judith returned to her bed she couldn't sleep anymore. She had thought that taking a brief walk would calm her but all it really did was make her feel more awake. It was early in the morning now anyways, others would be up and then she would be expected to be awake as well. She let out a heavy sigh and rubbed her tired eyes. She wanted to go home but it wouldn't be allowed. Maybe I can pretend that I have gone insane, she thought and laughed to herself. It wouldn't be that hard to believe. She pushed herself to get out of bed, she really didn't want to leave it's warmth but she had to. Judith pulled out clean clothes from under her bed and removed the dirty ones, once she was dressed she strapped her pouch full of arrows to her waist then her dagger. Judith took her bow then left. She had a feeling that it was going to be a tedious day. A few men said good morning to her as she left the camp, though she kept to herself. It always worried her that she was surrounded by men. Judith didn't think that all men were bad, but war changed people. It didn't help that one of the top men had been eyeing Judith ever since she was a teenager. The forest shook as the wind pushed the trees and other plant life. Judith had been wandering around for some time, she was being cautious though. She didn't feel like encountering any enemies today or any other Light Elves, she just wanted to be left alone. She brought herself to a rather large tree and pressed her back against it. She slid to the ground and sat on the cool ground. Judith closed her eyes for a moment then opened them to examine the surrounding area. She wished that she could live in the forest. It felt so peaceful, it was quiet and it was beautiful.

Even in his resting state he knew someone was near, though he wasn't going to make any movements just yet. They didn't seem to notice him so why start something. The person was about 40 paces away so it was a safe enough distance so long as he wasn't discovered. Though his luck was going to run out soon, as if he wasn't already taking a risk by being this close to the enemies camp.
He had no real motive, sure he enjoyed killing but that hardly meant that's all he did with his free time. Also it didn't seem like a smart move to go about killing the patrols with the main force of this camp so close. The person that had been walking about seemed to stop, this eased his thoughts of being discovered a little as he kept both eyes closed. His breathing remained faint though he did move a hand to rest on one of the daggers he had with him just in case. Little did he know the bigger enemy wasn't even the person that was walking near by... it was a smaller creature. A small furry creature was making it's way up the tree to be near Rhyldrin. The beast had been tracking down it's keeper this whole time, being use to being left behind. It sat there clinging to the side of the tree a few inches from Rhyldrin and making little to no sound as it seemed to think of what to do. It's white fur made it stick out against the tree bark, the small wings that seemed useless as they laid flat against it's back had crimson colors scales covering them till they met up with the fur, the webbing of the wings were a almost transparent white. Apparently Rhyldrin had been too focused on the stranger walking near by so he never noticed the hatchling that had come to his side. The creature made a sudden high pitched screech loose near his ear, it sounded fearful in it's cry seemingly confused by the elf had not moved when he had approached. The sudden noise was something he wasn't expecting as he missed his footing for a second before catching himself before dropping to the ground. Standing after he had landed he rubbed one ear before glaring at the tree watching the small creature climb down the trunk. He was still a bit groggy and having nearly fallen from a tree hadn't helped matters. The creature cooed lightly staying on the side of the tree as it looked over at Rhyldrin. It didn't seem to understand why he was getting such a look from it's keeper. Though it was still very young and about that time Rhyldrin really regretted keeping the thing, this was going to get him killed. After his thoughts came back to him he quickly drew both blades from their sheaths as he stood there with his ears back, the noise probably tipped off whoever was near-by. 'tsk... stupid dragon..' he hissed under his breath as the creature moved from the tree and quickly climbed to sit on his shoulder. Though it knew very well what it's keeper was doing by this point as it remained quiet this time around. For the time being he didn't see anyone, though he knew he heard someone not moments ago walking the forest floor was good at giving people away. But it bothered him he didn't pay closer attention to the direction. 'just what i need a scout spotting me here and telling the commander in charge of that camp.. heh' though t would probably draw the leader of the camp out at the idea of a sole dark elf this close and knowing most generals he'd probably want to show his troops how strong he was by killing the intruder.

Judith had surprisingly fallen asleep shortly after she had sat down. She had not planned to fall asleep, especially in the forest where most Dark Elves could be found. She had tried very hard to keep her tired eyes open but once she had closed them again they remained closed. Though she hadn't slept for long before she was abruptly woken by what seemed to be a high-pitch cry. Her eyes shot open and she slammed her head against the trunk behind her, the noise had scared her. Judith groaned softly and massaged the back of her head. What was that? she thought then stood cautiously. She tried to replay the noise in her head but eventually couldn't remember it. She had never heard something like that before. She finally removed her hand from the back of her head and picked up her bow that she had placed beside her. Judith's looked over the surrounding area, a mixture of fear and curiosity overcame here as she began to walk towards where she thought that the noise had come from. Maybe I was just dreaming again, she thought then let out a sigh. I don't remember if I was dreaming though. Judith couldn't even remember a dream that had had such a noise like that. It could have been a wild animal, maybe a few fighting and nothing else. Judith ran her free hand over a few trees as she continued to walk, she moved quickly and quietly, not wanting to alert any possible enemies of her presence. Her eyes continued to shift from one place to another, she couldn't let her guard down. If they did see her then at least she would see them as well, she hoped that anyways. Judith's ears perked up as she heard a sudden noise, she narrowed her eyes and stopped walking immediately. She brought her free hand to her side by her pouch and wondered if she should draw an arrow.
