The Brave series is the only mecha anime series of shows that I've ever been able to get into. I have a thing for sentient robots...

I liked Escaflowne and Full Metal Panic, but since both of those had heavy emphasis on story elements outside of the mecha I'm not sure they count.

Someone convince me to finish this project I am working on. >.<

Most of the Brave series has the robots as the main characters, though the human companions are pretty crucial to the story, too.

My roommates cosplay, and I did once but it's just not something I really have a lot of enthusiasm for anymore. The last one we did was kind of miserable because I realized how out of the loop I am since most of the anime and video games I like are older, so not many people still even talk about them.
