Fleas bug me x.x

um.. animals transfer fleas all the time.. if you have a dog. it has fleas. the fleas gets on you. you go over to anothers house who has a cat. the fleas will go from you to your friends pets..

its how he got fleas last time. AJ's dog had them and he brought them over ><


if you don't catch the fleas as soon as it starts.. it can be seriously bad. and vets say cold climats and stuff really don't matter. sadly they aren't safe from ticks or fleas anywhere ><

but yea. if you don't stop it as soon as you see one. that one will turn into about 50+ like every few days.. depends on how long it takes eggs to hatch. and the worse the fleas get.. the less blood the animal has. fleas can literally eat an animal alive if it gets too bad.

not to mention the diseases they carry. >x<

but yea good thing i got that comb yesterday. (its really a flea comb but it helps with grooming the under coat so i got it) and i found a flea! that pervert brought his cat's fleas over here D< (the pervert rick was over yesterday)

And there are different fleas that go for different animals. I haven't had many issues with fleas myself the odd times the dogs have them. If it's not the climate it might be geography then but we rarely get fleas of any kind. When they do show up it's usually from a dog show down south or when one of my sister's friends from the States visits. There don't seem to be many in the area where we live, thankfully.

I have 2 jobs and my boss at my first job was working like every day cuz were were so understaffed for a while and she was supposed to have the day off and it was going to be her only day off in like 7-9 days or something. But the person who was supposed to come in and work with me that day couldn't come she said she was going to come in and that day she called in and said she didn't want to get out of bed so she wasn't going to come to work.

So I was alone for 9 hours my myself running around like a chicken with my head cut off.

Now I have 2 jobs and between those 2 jobs I only had tomorrow off. Now she calls me in and ask (well pretty much demands) that I come in and work 3 shitty hours that ruin my whole day! I told her it's my old day off and she wouldn't listen to me. So I said how she didn't come in on her day off. She rubbed in my face that this is all because I have 2 jobs. LIke it's some crime. Isn't not my fault she only gives me crappy hours like 20 at the most I can't live off that I had no choice. I swear I at that stupid job! I should have never gone back there that was like the biggest mistake of my life. I am glad it's closing in 6 months.

Quiet - *looks up the different flea types* o.O there are a lot! but its kinda dumb to call a flea on a cat a cat flea when it can also be on a dog and live off of it! and vise versa. but the one I found was prolly a cat flea *they all look the same to me* the perv has cats of his own and refuses to bathe them with flea/tick shampoo just cause Snuggles hates water. grr

They probably have latin names somewhere, I just have no clue what they are. You're right though. Just because a flea is on a cat doesn't mean it's a "cat flea." There apparently are types that prefer people over other animals though. Maybe it's the lack of hair in the way? I don't know. With all the pills I take I'm probably toxic anyway. ;).

Sucks to be called in on your day off but I imagine the boss wasn't so happy either about a staff member not showing. If that happens just make sure you get paid a boatload for it ;). Or find the legal regulations about how many hours you can work per week and throw that in his face if it helps.

I've been in that boat too, but mostly because my old boss was prone to stopping by the store and telling some staff to head home if he didn't think it was busy enough to merit everyone there. That was when I worked at a coffee shop and at one point a co-worker was on her break, ignoring the fact that with only two people on she had to be ready to work anyway if needed, but supervisor had to leave for a few, -hence there were only 2 of us- and I got stuck simultaneously working both front counter and drive through at the same time. And the sandwich station.

Sounds like a good time to start looking for a new job. I need to get on that too since my job right now is only temporary. Can't guarantee it will go past early November.
