Mizuki smiled at the other males comments. To think that he would actually plan to use the toxins together. Mizuki shook his head at that thought "There is no fun in using the toxins combined..." Mizuki said looking to Alton "Only when the one being tormented comes to completion dose the fun of the toxin become apparent" He said with a nod of his head and a little smile on his face.

"Also being afraid of your well beings is a good thing in the long run..." Mizuki began gathering everything he had used together before standing and picking them up. This is when he looked to Alton and began speaking once more "Lets us know we have something dear to hold onto....for with the fear of your well being comes into play its not the fear of pain or death one worries about" Mizuki said tilting his head a little "Its the ones they would leave behind that give the thoughts"

With that comment Mizuki turned and headed out of the room returning everything he had to the places which he found them. Returning he stood in the door way leaning on the wall a little looking to Alton "Well after you gain your composure again I have something to show you" Mizuki said.

Mizuki stood there and watched as the male tooka deep breath before standing on still shakey legs before moving and walking over towards Mizuki. This is when Mizuki turned and walked down a little hallway to come to a door. Opening it he walked inside and watched as Alton fallowed.

The room was larger then one would think. Walking part way into the room you came to a set of stairs. Walking up these stairs Mizuki took Alton to the thing he wanted to show to the male. When the stairs came to an end they led to a landing that spread out over the entire base of the tree in a large circle. Off to one side was a large doorway that led to interwinding branches to create a deck. This was protected by the large handing leaves of the tree Mizuki called home.

Off to the left side from the deck was a bed. Large with four posters and hanging material from the top that at the touch felt like silk lavender and almost see through it hung and serrounded the bed. On the top of the bed was thick furs and large plush pillows.

"During the stay of the first humans they learned from us and we learned from them" Mizuki said slightly looking to Alton "The concept of a 'bed' was interesting though many didnt care for it" He said "I liked it" Mizuki said with a smile "But I figured something like this would make you feel more at home...so I give this...my bedroom to you"

To admit it Mizuki scared him at times. This was one of those times. But to be fair he had asked for this. Not to say he had expected the other to act on it right away as he did. But nothing could be done of it now. Though if that had went on any long he wasn't sure how much he could have held back... It was pushing it with the tests he had done.

Either way he listened to Mizuki as he spoke about the fear was a good thing. He had a good point, it was wise to have such fears. Though he never thought of it in the manner that the other spoke about. What or rather why would he be worried about who he left behind, sure him and Misuki were.. he wasn't sure what they were at the moment. But everyone else that he had held dear in his life was gone already.

He was left to his thoughts a moment before Mizuki came back after leaving the room and made a comment that was rewarded with a glare from Alton. Regain his composure... Considering it was his fault. He shook his head a little knowing he'd have to find a way to repay that comment, let alone the torture process he had just went through. But for now he bit his tongue to prevent saying anything as he forced himself to stand.

Following the other he had come to the conclusion he didn't explore this place enough. He had hardly left the main room or ventured into the back garden of the place they had called home. But he had been content with all of that, even though he had been here for a while now he still didn't feel right about just exploring the place.

When Mizuki finally came to what he wanted Alton to see and spoke about it Alton almost couldn't say anything. "I.. I can't sleep here, I was just getting to the point where I wasn't falling out of the hammock" Really he was curious why if Mizuki liked the bed idea, why didn't he sleep here? Another thought crossed his mind of saying he was use to seeing the other in the same room, but he didn't dare speak up about that thought, that might be a bit bold even for him.

"What happened then?" Mizuki seemed to question him when he spoke. "If when humans first came here they were willing to exchange information.. what happened to change it?" Surely the humans didn't have much information, each time that voice came back to him to try and force the mission they wanted onto him he had to ignore it, they never spoke a word of knowing anything of value.

Mizuki stood there and thought about it for a moment before anything really came to his mind "Well..." He began "Thats the thing...they had nothing to offer" Mizuki said a little softly "We spoke of customs and tradition" Mizuki said "Then one day something happened between a human and a clan member" Mizuki said walking over to the little deck part of the room to look out at the softly setting sun.

Resting his head on the door frame he gave a little sigh "It turned out the human wanted something...something that was supposed to grant him something" He said with a little shrug of his shoulders "When everything became to much and the human didnt find anything out he pushed to hard" Mizuki said "Killed a member of the clan" With that Mizuki turned and looked to Alton "From that moment your kind was banned" He said with a nod of his head

Listening to Mizuki he knew he was right, humans as far as races went were considered young at best. They were destructive and hardly had any knowledge of the world let alone other worlds that could be useful. To admit it he had learned so much from the other yet he could really offer nothing. Just as others before him he couldn't offer anything. The most he could do was follow directions or help Mizuki when he could. Though it was more then common for the other to just take charge or go and do whatever he needed done by himself.

"That explains why they were trying to create some way of making humans to look like your kind.. though they still failed and with no information im sure I wasn't the first test subject with this mutation to be sent here." Sure he had seen his fair share of blood shed and how the world worked, but he would never understand why humans always had to kill or destroy everything they touched. Then again maybe he was no better then the rest of them and he was just kidding himself.

"Grant them something? ... I know normally when humans go after another world they want materials from it.. but that normally means they destroy the world in the process of it." Mentioning that made him think a little, it was better off that he had just run into Mizuki. If he had managed to get inside of the clan who knows what the humans would have done, for all he knew they could be tracking his every move and conversation. How could he know they forced his body to look as it did so whats to say they didn't go further then just that.

At the mention of a destroyed world he looked to Alton with a slightly paled complection. "What could they truely want..." He asked slightly to himself looking away from Alton "What could they take that would soil and kill the land" He said to himself before looking to Alton "There....is this one place" Mizuki said slightly before moving alittle ways out onto the deck.

"Its...a place that was only myth" Mizuki said "I mean...we grew up hearing the tales of 'The springs of truth'...a holey place that was said to grant the one who sets foot into the water the one thing their heart wants above all else" With that Mizuki turned a little to look back at Alton "But...its just myth and legend" He said. "Nothing has ever indicated that this place is truth" Mizuki said.

This is when Mizuki cocked his head to the side a little as a thought came into his head "Well...nothing but old man Reiner.." He said "He spoke that he had seen these waters with his own eyes...but when asked what the pool had given him.." This is when he looked right into Altons eyes "He did nothing but smile"

Alton seemed to refuse to give Mizuki a answer when asked what they could want. That was easy to answer. They would probably try and take over this world and it would end up just like Earth. Seeing the condition of where he came from compared to these lands he knew very well the humans were after something, at first when they were trying to talk him into doing their work they spoke of gathering information and materials. It seemed simple enough, though it would seem that this might not be the only thing that they were seeking.

Once Mizuki spoke of the legend Alton shook his head a little. This was getting a little out of hand. "Legends... heh... You might think it's not real but if there's any tale of someone finding this said area." He seemed to pause before going on. "Theres a number of legends and tales that have caused humans to destroy one another... wars have been started over lesser information." This was the sad yet true fact, humans were probably after this legend or mythical area just like the ones that were said to be on their home planet. They sought power, control, who knew what all else depending on who found the said area.

"If this place is real, I doubt you've seen your last human. I also doubt they will ever stop till they either find out what they are after or destroy this place trying to find it." He sighed heavily at the thought of such a thing happening. Things were about to get bad and quickly. "Heh... I thought I retired from this type of thing years ago." Noticing the questioning look from the other he shook his head a little. "Don't ask."

Part of his history he seemed to want to avoid spilling. "So just as a thought... if this area is real. What then? It's protected right or has some way to make sure it stays hidden so we shouldn't have to worry about it." That was a ncie thought but something told him at the luck that he seemed to have the area was real and the humans could find a way to force themselves into it...

Mizuki looked to Alton as he spoke "Well there have been tales of magic protecting the area in which it is said to be" Mizuki said walking a little more into the hallow to peer at Alton better "But then again that has been there for...hundrads of years" He stated to him "Also if you take into account the elder who has claimed to of seen it...dose that not mean that the magics of old have been washed away from the waters of time?" Mizuki asked with a little tilt of his head.

Mizuki thought for a moment on everything that had been talked about so far "The old tales though...they are jut tails" He said before looking out to the sky outside "I mean...there would be proof to these stories..." He said "Though all there is, is the word of a man seem mentaly unfit" With that he snorted a little and walked back into the room where he took a seat on the bed.

The other had a point, this was all probably just a old tale. Sure it could be true but the odds of it being so were... impossible right? "Your probably right, but even if such a place isn't real. That hardly means the humans are going to take that and leave you and your lands be." He sighed a little before pacing just once. "There are still people searching for the loch ness monster and bigfoot after all these years and proof that such creatures aren't real. Even lost cities with tales of them being made of gold or sinking to the depths of the sea and people are still hunting for them and the power they might hide."

The more he thought about it the more he noticed humans were either stubborn or corrupted. Corrupted might be the better of the two words. "If they have heard of this place... I doubt I'll be the last experiment they send here to try to gather information. But the next one might be more then willing to help them with their goal." Not only did they have the issue that Mizuki was banished from his clan for the time being but they might have to soon deal with other mutated humans or even the forces that they could send here to try and take such a place by force.

Mizuki sighed a little "Well...I mean we could also just go and check it out" Mizuki said "Or wrather I will" He said "The elder lives on the edge of the village" He said slightly before walking inside "I will go and ask of him where he found this cave...and we shall see what is myth or what is truth" He stated before walking past Alton "Oh..." He said pausing in his stride "Stay here, get some rest...if anyone of the clan sees you.." He began "Your dead" With that he turned and walked back down the stairs.

When he entered the living area he grabbed his bow and staff as well as a long black fur cloak before heading out of the hallow. The sun would soon be slayed by the moon and darkness would fill the lands and trees. Mizuki didnt want to be seen. He would go gather what he could and return.

Not that he had a choice as to the options he had.. but that still didn't mean he liked just sitting here and waiting so to speak. He sighed before agreeing with Mizuki's knowing he was right. There was no other real way to get the information that they needed to see if this 'story' was true or not. Odds were that it wasn't, but there wasn't any harm in making sure right? Aside from probably asking for more trouble.

Rest he was told, like that was going to happen. Even when he had a job any free time he had Alton had always found some way to entertain himself. Though around here that was rather slim pickings. Going out during the dark hours would be asking for death almost, even after all the time spent here. Though it did give him plenty of free time to think over a few things that had been on his mind.

Mostly being what the humans were after and why his life was snatched from him once more, not that it wasn't a good trade off he had found a decent life here that he was rather happy with. But still after all of the years he had spent keeping his profile low and to not draw attention to himself just to be turned into some lab rat and dropped on another world.

Mizuki ran through the darkening trees with the intent of getting some answers. It had been a very long time since he had traveled this close to his homeland but he needed answers. Mizuki had a feeling that this would be a matter of life and death...he needed to know why the humans seemed so interested with this tale.

Jumping down from a tree he landed on a branch of a smaller one on silent feet and watched as the patrol before him made their rounds before disappearing off into the bush again. Falling down from the tree Mizuki made little to no sound as he continued on with his mission. Leaving the trees around him walked up to an all to well knowen hallow. Taking a gulp of air Mizuki vanished into the darkness before him.

Hours went by and the sun in the distance began to stretch its hands over the darkened sky coloring it dark purples and oranges. Just as the sun light hit the hallow Mizuki emerged with a fur sack strapped to his back and leaving he left as silent as he came.

By the time he reached the hallow he called home the light outside had become more apparent and began to fill all of the nooks and cranies around him casting the world in a warm glow of morning. Entering the hallo Mizuki walked in and all but fell into the hammock before him causing it to sway in motion.

He didn't expect the trip to be a short one, but he had to admit he worried during the hours that had passed. What if something had happened to him? He shook such silly thoughts from his head. He'd be better off worrying about himself seeing as Mizuki was still far more suited for the life here then he ever would be.

The thing he hated most about waiting was that there was next to nothing to do. Anything that had been misplaced from this morning he had put away just to pass the time. Heck he had bothered to practice with the weapons they had at hand to further pass the hours. But nothing took his attention for too long. Maybe he was worried about what information Mizuki would bring back with him.

After it started getting light out again he finally gave up on staying awake till the other return. Though he didn't make it to a sleeping area either. Having got caught up in his thoughts he ended up dozing off near the passageway between where Mizuki normally slept and another room. He had been pacing but it seemed he had worn himself out with trying to pick his brain for a few answers of his own.

Once Mizuki returned home and fell into the hammock he jumped from the sudden noise. Sure he could have guessed it was Mizuki but he wasn't expecting the other to come in, in such a manner. Though he didn't bother him, the trip seemed to have worn the other out. It was best to let him sleep for the time being.

Mizuki slept until midday, just getting enough to please his body until later that evening. Blinking his eyes slowly Mizuki awoke and yawned, stretching from the place he laid for the time he was sleeping. Opening his eyes he looked around and noticed that Alton was laying in the hammock across from him still sleeping away.

Carefully sitting up he cracked his back before sighing. This is when he felt the clothe bag rubbed on his back and the conversation from the night before came back to him. Moving he sat down infront of the fire pit and began working at building a fire. Once was was crackeling away he took the pouch off and placed it in his lap.

Looking down Mizuki rubbed pale hands down and over the soft fure before he turned it and opened it. Reaching inside Mizuki pulled out a folded piece of parchement and placed it beside him. Reaching inside he pulled out a blue crystal that hung from a thick piece of leather as well as a circle made of some kind of meddle that Mizuki had no idea what it did. Mizuki sat there for a while infront of a roaring fire looking at the objects in his hands and thinking of the words the elder had said.

It was some time after Mizuki seemed to be settled in front of the fire with all of the objects out of the bag did Alton even start to stir. Having most of the previous day to himself to think through everything that had happened had taken its own toll on his mind. Something was still weighing heavily on his thoughts. Some voiced that he had heard when he was first sent to this place... they seemed to be some he should recall, they just felt so familiar.

Only after sitting there for a few moments did it occur to him he remembered Mizuki came home and passed out early this morning. That was when he snapped out of his thoughts taking notice the other was sitting there silently with some array of items. "I'm sorry I meant to get up before you did." He sighed a little, his plan was to fix food seeing as Mizuki was probably still tired from the trip and who knew what type of information he had.

Mizuki looked up as Alton spoke the male drawing him out of the trance he seemed to be in "Oh...its alright" He stated to him looking down at the items. That is when his eyes once again fell on the mettle ring and he picked it up. Remembering what the elder said he looked to Alton "So..." He said lightly "The elder did speak with me" He said looking back down to the item in his hands.

"He told me that the place is real...and he gave me this" Mizuki stated raising the mettle ring to show Alton "He said that it was a piece of your time...and something that would lead us to the cave...with this" He said pulling up the parchment map. This is when Mizuki sighed "Though...the more I look at this the more I get confused" He stated passing the ring to Alton.

He listened to what Mizuki said when he spoke but he was probably more confused then the other was. Great more riddles it seemed... why couldn't anyone give a straight forward answer around this place? Heck they still had the little riddle from Mizuki's past let alone adding this one to it. He listened either way before looking the ring over trying to make heads or tails of what either of them were suppose to do with these items.

"A piece of your time..." He sighed a little, was he suppose to know something about this ring? It was a ring, but what made it so important. Let alone what connected it to the map Mizuki seemed stumped on. "Why can't I run across something I'm good at for once?" He laughed weakly knowing riddles were not that said talent he spoke of. But why would someone say such words though... surely they meant something and they had to figure it out now... But the fact that the said area was real...

"If its real... that can't be good." He was more or less muttering his thoughts aloud. If such a area was real he knew what the humans were after, its power was something they sought for sure. This world as a whole would be in danger till the humans were either driven away or they got what they sought. Though for the moment he wasn't too worried... if this ring was suppose to do something either they both had missed it or the time was not right just yet.
