Oh hey I know Amtgard! They practice on the field next to our guys on Sundays. I'm a member of the SCA. I want to try heavy fighting, but I don't jhave the money to start up a kit. I've considered joining Amtgard or Dagorhir a couple times because it looks fun and maybe less painful than actual heavy armed combat.
Answer my riddle to earn a prize!

You'll always feel it, but can never see it. It's strong but shatters easily. You can give it away but never hold it. What is it?

If your intent is "less painful" then Amtgard is preferable to Dagorhir or Belegarth. Amtgard doesn't let you ignore hits just because they weren't hard enough; if the shot hits cleanly enough to make sound, it's good enough.
