I need to get blue bias tape for my apron... turns out a fat quarter is both long and wide enough to make an apron for me.

Huzzah for the fat quarter being a good size! I have never used bias tape... I am not even sure I know what it is xD

... I honestly don't know what it's normally used for, but I've heard of people sandwiching raw edges between the folds and using it to keep the raw edges from fraying... I use it on corsets as a top edge and for decoration on said corsets...

Has anyone ever ordered anything from Demeter Fragrance? I've been told their strange scents really do smell exactly like what they claim to and I keep being tempted to get some of my friends strange perfumes for gifts, but am wary since the company seems gimicky.

Needing to put away crafting supplies is basically my life in a single sentence. I am the world's worst about getting halfway through a project and getting distracted, starting something new and then not remembering where I put things because I didn't put them away properly.

I reallly wanna throw stuff at you guys and be like "IS THIS LILAC SCENT ACCEPTABLE?!" because the fragrance oil I have is really nice imo. But it is a fragrance OIL not a perfume or finished product in it's self. Straight outta the bottle it is potent but in lotions and soaps, depending on the usage rate, it is soooo nice. I did accidentally make my mom and way too strongly scented batch of lotion over summer with the lilac scent oil though... it's definitely headache worthy for me, but my mom loves it. xDD

And I am in my room at my desk, and I just looked around and realized I need to put away my various ingredients that are all over my room. Doing so many projects this summer has my room looking like chaos with bits of different things all over. If I ever want to find things again they really need to go to their homes. But remembering that when I am cleaning up after a project is hard. xD

I'd be okay with scent testing...

They have fragrances like "dirt" and "Earthworm" but also things like "Earl Grey Tea" and "Waffles" which apparently smell strikingly like what they claim to be. Hmm

Their scents are a wee bit pricy but they offer a "sampler" for four bucks USD. Not sure about shipping though.

I really need to be working on some woodburning, but I am LAZY.

Shipping probably isn't too bad for samplers, but full sized ones might get expensive.

Well Demeter has been around since 1993 and brought "everyday scents" into the public eye, so it's entirely possible that BPAL was inspired by them to keep building on the unusual and unique scent trends.

I mean, it would be good to offer scent samples in general for people like me who are picky. XD

Yeah but they can morph in the making of products sometimes so I dunno how accurate a sample of the scent would be to whatever product they may want. ESPECIALLY in lotions that like to morph when in contact with skin.

Edit I also wouldn't know how to price samples. x nx (then again I usually fly by the seat of my pants on pricing anyway but uh.....)
