Nope. Neither one. We used to watch the Macy's parades when I was a kid, but it's just not a big deal to me. Plus, I don't have tv at home.

I have a blanket that CrystalKitsune made for me actually and several scarfs that I never actually wear made for me by my family.

Also the quilts in my nest were made by my grandma.

On the one hand, I'd feel really hurt if someone regifted something that I put a lot of thought and work into for them. But I also understand not wanting to keep something you'll never use.
So I wouldn't say it's rude necessarily.
