This is my Irish flag that I stitched up. It says in irish, 'beautiful Ireland'. It was rather fun stitching this lil guy up. Made me feel happy since I am part Irish.

Update on my piece:

I'm working on the backstitching for my chinese love character piece that I have been working on for awhile now. It's almost done with. Just have the flowers to do and then I can finally be done with that one and wait til I get inspired to begin another one. Not sure if that is going to happen though since I haven't really wanted to work on it to begin with for awhile now.

Cool. I haven't been trying too hard to work on my cross stitching lately. It's more been a chore to me. Today was the first time in awhile that I actually wanted to do it for fun.

This is my chinese love character. I took some artistic liberties on it since some of the stitches were only 5 stitches in a couple different colors. I thought it would be a waste of floss to waste some of it, so I just didn't stitch those parts. It still looks nice the way it is.

I did make a mistake in it. The black in the flowers doesn't line up like it should. Not sure how I made that mistake and where I made it, but you can't tell the mistake is there. I'm glad how it turned out.

I made it on pink aida cloth. I had the pink laying around the house and thought that with love and pink it would look nice together. I rather like the combination of the two. I hope everyone else likes it.
