Mizuki had become more and more aware of everything around him as time went by. Though this new think about his blank moments plauged his mind when he was awake. Why did he do what he did? He knew it was from the spell but that would of been broken the moment the queen was killed. Mizuki had thoughts about what if she was not dead but Thalion assured him over and over again that she was so he beleived him.

Now he was sitting up in a bed in some town alone. This was the worst time for him as he thought about the things that had taken place. Though they soon left as a light knock to the door sounded before Thalion entered the room. At the males comment he smiled "Yes...have been for a while" He said with a nod.

It was true though. Mizuki had been awake for awhile and in that time he had tried to get up and go to the bathroom himself to have a bath though it was short lived as he could barely walk without having issues. Watching the male he smiled as he walked over "So..." Mizuki began "Whats it like putting up with them without me?" He asked with a tilt of his head and a cocky smile.

Mizuki had questioned him a few times if he was sure that the Queen was dead. There was no way she was not. She was half dead when he last saw her let alone there was no way that she survived dealing with the four drakes. Not with the amount of energy she had left let alone the sounds that came from that room. Though he was second guessing this every time the other asked.

If she had lived then they would be dealing with her again. Though something else seemed to be at play here, he swore that the one that had done this to Mizuki was dead. Never the less Mizuki wasn't left alone for too long normally. Just to prevent anything happening if he had a blank out moment. Besides that they were unsure if that meant he could still be mind controlled or not.

Though normally they tried to not think about such things. Moving forward was the better option. "Oh just grand let me tell you.." He half groaned at the thought. "Felix i can deal with Neimi and Luna I swear." Luna constantly threatening to kill him if Mizuki never got better. No matter what she told Mizuki she still didn't get along fully with the drow as she liked to point out every turn. Neimi was more like a mother hen to the group and that annoyed him seeing as he had moved from home in the first place to get away from such treatment.

"hurry up and recover faster.. its almost boring without you around." Not that he didn't spend enough time with Mizuki that was certain. No if Luna wasn't with him Thalion was. That was the only thing they did agree on.

Mizuki smiled at his comment "You two I swear will never get along" He said with a sigh. It was true through he was sure that the two would always be at each others throats. It was just them he guessed though they never got along.

After that the two of them talked over little things. Though Mizuki was just glad for the company. They talked about where they were going and how the trip was and everything.

After awhile Mizuki grew a little silent and he knew the question was coming and he was right the moment Thalion asked what was wrong "I...no never mind" He said but cringed a little at Thalions growl "Okay...I...can I ask for your help?" He asked looking down at his hands. When asked what it was Mizuki gulped a little.

"Well you see...I tried and failed" He said and almost laughed at the questioning look "I...really want a bath" He said "I cant remember the last time I had one" He said but this was when Mizukis cheeks grew pink as he blushed "But...uh...I need help" He said lightly.

Nope it was not in the cards for him and Luna to get along. Except maybe in fights they could deal with each other long enough. Though it was probably because they were both similar in some ways. Mainly the hard headed and stubborn parts but still.

When Mizuki grew quiet he had to ask if he was ok, every time the other seemed to stop talking he thought it might be another hour before he got anything from him again. Though this time it just seemed to be something on Mizuki's mind. Though when he said never mind Thalion hardly let him leave it at that.

"And this help would be...?" Seeing as the other seemed to want to do anything other then say what he wanted. Though when it was finally out and Mizuki was blushing and avoiding looking at him he nearly wanted to laugh. "Was that so hard to ask? You act like we didn't live together for .. how many years was it?" He had a point, granted they were younger and maybe a bit more reckless then they were now but still.

Moving a little he stood before he started to walk across the room so he could go get things ready first. "And you had the nerve to say I was the bashful one." He rolled his eyes a little finding this a bit funny still. Either way he wasn't going to turn down Mizuki's request. Besides that he... after that one night at the waterfall he kind of wanted a chance to see the other again. Though thinking like that made him sound like a utter perv.

After a little bit he had the bath ready and went back to Mizuki before smirking a bit. "So are you walking or do I have to carry you as well?" Though now he was teasing knowing all too well Mizuki would fight against being carried. Though in the process of trying to help him walk it became rather clear that walking was not happening. this was when he ignored Mizuki protesting to being carried into the other room.

Though it was a bit cute seeing as Mizuki was still blushing. "Oh come on.. its not like this would be the first time you were naked around me, what happened to the Mizuki that was at the waterfall parading around."

Though Mizuki was still fighting Thalion yes he wanted a bath but he didn't want this much help even if he needed it. "Keep complaining and Luna is going to think I'm killing you or something.." Thats what they needed and knowing her it would be strike now ask questions later.

After a little bit he finally got Mizuki in the tub though now it was fair game to tease him. "See was that so damn hard to do? Though..." He started leaning over towards Mizuki who seemed to still be blushing though the warm water probably wasn't helping that. "I could get use to seeing you like this, maybe fight a little less next time though?"

Mizuki huffed and crossed his arms as Thalion spoke. Yes at the time he was the bashfull one. After everything that happened Mizuki was tied...its not like he cared. No it was the fact that Thalion had confessed his love and that thought combind with what he wanted to ask made him a little bashfull. It was to be expected.

Though he was glad that Thalion didnt protest as he helped. Offering to be carried Mizuki glared. No he could walk with help. So getting out of bed Thalion began to help him walk towards the bathroom. It was not until he almost fell that Thalion decided enough was enough and picked him up. Even though he protested Mizuki was greatfull for the help.

Now being in the bathroom Mizuki didnt bother arguing with Thalion as he was helped undressed and placed in the tub. Mizuki sighed at the hot water. It felt so good on unused sore muscles. Mizuki turned his head down a little as Thalion spoke again. Where was that Mizuki? He was still there and he was going to prove it to Thalion.

Undoing his hair he let it flow around him before he leaned an elbow on the edge of the tub and rested his chin on it. Long white locks fell into his face as his ears twitched. Mizuki looked to Thalion with half little eyes and a small smile "You could huh..." He said lightly "I wish I could say the same" He said with a little bit of a laugh.

Mizuki then reached a hand out and lightly brushed down Thalions arm with his fingers lightly brushing the skin "You know..." He said lightly "This tub could fit two..." He said with a little smile before he retreated his hand the light hue of pink still on his lips.

"Just maybe, though I'm waiting for a certain dragonkin to come running in here having left you alone with me for too long." Ok not really she had gotten slightly better about that. Though it wasn't like it couldn't happen still.

So maybe Mizuki caught him a little in the slight game he seemed to form teasing the other. truth of it was Thalion probably was the more bashful of the pair of them. Even when they were living together he rarely went without a shirt on let alone any less clothing. to say the least he skipped or came up with any excuse to avoid beach trips. That or he found excuses to stay clothed one or the other.

But now things were different right? He didn't have to, well he didn't have to worry before either but still. When Mizuki seemed to suggest a idea he had on his mind it seemed to cause Thalion to pause a moment. Well his little front was over with that was for sure.

"Heh.. um probably could." Yep he was caught there wasn't he. Though he told himself that he wasn't going to back down like last time. Standing back a little he still seemed to hesitate a little before stripping his own clothes. To say the least this was a bit outside of his norm was a understatement.

Mizuki seemed to already move enough to let the other into the tub with him though Thalions thoughts were probably easy enough to read by the slight blush, well it looked slight due to his skin. Getting in with the other he quickly spoke knowing if he didnt say anything he'd die. "say a word and I'm leaving.."

Mizuki knew he had won the moment Thalion spoke. So it would seem that he was still not as bashful as the male. Though he was shocked when Thalion stepped back and removed his clothes to join him. Mizuki moved allowing room for Thalion. Once the male was sitting in the tub Mizuki moved so he laid back into Thalions chest while sitting between the males legs.

Moving his head he placed it under the males neck before leaning up and kissing Thalions chin with a smile "I never thought this day would come" He said with a little sigh "I dreamt...but never once thought it would be true" He said moving so he looked at Thalion. Soft lavender eyes gazed at Thalion and Mizuki smiled "I really do love you...I always have.." Mizuki said lightly.

He was glad Mizuki didn't seem to notice he flinched slightly as the other seemed to lean back against him. Sure he should be use to this by now. Seeing as Mizuki had conned him into sleeping with him in most cases or ended up falling asleep on him so he had no real choice but to stay. Not that he exactly minded either.

"Heh... to tell the truth I can't say I didn't have my own dreams." Least he was being honest he could have said a number of things but there wasn't a point of covering up what was the truth. "I'm.. still debating if this isn't one of my crazy dreams actually." Though he was joking on that he knew it was real, he didn't fret this much in dreams.

when the other moved to look at him he smiled a little before moving close to the other and kissing his lightly. "I know... I knew before I just.. I was denying it for both of us it seems." even when they were living together he could pick up some vibes here and there but he never tried to pay them much mind. About the time he finally started admitting anything to himself was when Mizuki left.

"And I love you but.. you said you knew that. Guess I suck at hiding things from you still." A lot probably gave away he cared about the other, he really did search for years and destroyed his life trying to find Mizuki. Even now he nearly got himself killed while trying to save the other. "So.. um.. you asked before what this was. Think you have your answer yet?"

Mizuki smiled into the kiss as he kissed back. Listening to Thalion he tilted his head a little as he was asked his question. Did he have his answer. Yes he was sure he did but there was still a question there to be answered "Yes I do have my answer" He said lightly looking into those eyes "Its simple" Mizuki said raising a hand and placing it on the males cheek before speaking again "Its love" He said with a little shrug of his shoulders before he moved up and kissed the male.

The kiss was soft and sweet but as Mizuki pulled away he placed a kiss on the side of Thalions lips before he trailed a little line of kisses over a dark cheek down a jaw ling to place a kiss at the base of the males ear. From there he placed a kiss or two on the dark neck as he placed his head back where it was.

Mizuki was not sure how far he could take something like this with out Thalion protesting so he thought it best to not push his luck. They were already together resting in a hot bath and he was being held with strong arms as soft words met his ears. It was more then he could ask for. Well...he could ask for more but maybe that was for another time.

Such a simple answer. "Oh is that what it is." He said sarcastically. "Coming from someone who said that no one would ever be able to stand me?" Though to be fair he said the same about the other. That was almost funny on its own.

He was about to say something else but Mizuki had other plans. The first kiss he could handle, that as no problem he was getting use to this still and slowly. Though it wasn't like they needed to rush things right. Though he ended up being distracted as the other seemed to continue with the kisses but it was more of where.

The cheek and near the mouth he could handle but when Mizuki started to move and got to just below his ear was when he knew he needed to pull back or do something or distract the other form his course of action. Flighty was a good word for Thalion in situations like this, though he oddly always was.

Though he was glad the other stopped when he did and seemed to go back to resting against him. Though by then Thalion had tensed up a little and his breathing was slightly uneven. "Tease.." He said hissing a little but Mizuki needed to finish recovering anyway and taking things too far wasn't a good idea. Though he only spoke to try and hide the real effects from feeling Mizuki's lips against his skin, probably a failed distraction. He had half a mind to pay the other back for this but he wasn't quite that bold at the moment. Yeah this was going to take some work.

Mizuki smiled at the word Thalion gave him...tease. Yes he was. Though Mizuki knew that something was not going to happen he couldnt help but tease the male with his simple kisses and touches. He had dreamt of kissing the lips and skin of the male for a long time so now that he had the chance he was going to do just that. Even though he knew he wouldnt be able to do much for he was still recovering but at least he could do this.

After awhile of just sitting there in the steamy bath Mizuki decided it was about time to do what he got in the bath to do. Moving he turned so he was facing Thalion with his legs on either side of Thalions. The tub was large but not that large. So to do something he needed to move into a placement where he could do it.

Leaning back into the water he reached pale arms up and soft hands went through long white locks. Mizuki took pride in his hair. When Thalion and himself lived together all those years before his hair was only a little past his shoulder blades and it was always kept in a high ponie tail. Now it brushed the back of his thighed braided, with it undone his knees.

Brushing his fingers through the hair he hummed a little to himself as he did so. After a few moments of this Mizuki slowly sat back up right. Gathering all of his hair Mizuki brought it over his shoulder to take the strain off his neck. Wet hair and that much of it did not help the headache he had had for the past couple days. "I do think its about that time" He said with a sigh as he felt the water around them grow cooler by each moment.

Moving back he took a deep breath and with a little bit of a hiss he pushed down on the edges of the tub lifting himself out of it. Taking a moment he moved and sat on the edge of the tub "Well...that was harder then it looked" He said in a bit of a tired voice with an expression to match.

He should know Mizuki well enough to know he was a tease. Even with joking he had always been one. It was probably all of those teases that kept Mizuki almost surrounded by girls. That was probably the main reason if there were any thoughts he had kept them to himself. He swore Mizuki had a girlfriend at some point or another, that or a stalker as much as one or two of them stayed over.

Though back then they did have a rather interesting conversation that of course at the time he waved off saying not going to happen. Something about how he'd be in his thirties and still would have never gotten laid. At the time he waved it off saying hardly or that he was waiting or didn't find the right person. Though the years went by a lot quicker then he thought they did. Mizuki might end up being right at this rate.

That thought he quickly pushed out of his head saying that there were more important things at hand and that this all needed to be fixed. Maybe once things were back to normal... also maybe once things were back to normal those scars wouldn't be there. He had tried to avoid looking at them in truth, a good reminder that this almost didn't happen.

Though for the rest of the bath he didn't say much just watching Mizuki tend to his hair. Ah yes that hair. It was a bit shorter back then but forbid anything happened to it. Getting it trimmed he would swear that each strand was connected to a nerve or something as the other use to cringe.

It was about this time he started picking out minor differences or features that either changed over time or were due to the race he was now. It got him thinking just how different he was or not. Sure he had naturally red hair, probably explains his temper quite a bit though being this race seemed to add to that as well. Was the changed looks better? Heck why was he worrying about that now even?

This was when Mizuki got his attention speaking up again. He had hardly noticed the water being too caught up in his own thoughts and watching the other. "Seems that way.. maybe I should practice on practical uses of that power." Though it was suppose to be a joke it actually wasn't a bad idea.

He was going to help Mizuki but the other seemed determined enough to try on his own. Not like he was going to let him fall so might as well let him do as much as he could right? Though it felt like it took the other forever to finally stand let alone move to sit on the outside of the tub. "Oh I know, been through recovering form bed rest before remember?"

Not just this time but there was another time, back when Mizuki first encountered him. That had turned out to be more serious then just some mere headache. Fainting like that wasn't normal. Over working himself he ended up being put on rest for a few days and it felt like it took forever to get to where he was normal again.

"Well lets get you back in bed before Luna hangs us both for you not resting." Sure he was awake more now but he still needed the rest. Either way he got a towel and started helping Mizuki dry off. Though not before wrapping one around his waist. Yep still Thalion that would take a while to change if it ever did. If he didn't have a thought that Mizuki could catch a cold or something he might have bothered drying a bit more to toss a shirt on as well.

Mizuki smiled as he was helped though at the same time he gave a little bit of a frown as the male covered him before doing so. This made Mizuki think about some things but soon enough he brushed them to the back of his mind as he was helped back into the room and onto the bed. Leaning back into the head bored Mizuki gave a sigh.

After that the two talked forawhile longer before it was lights out. After that day things started to grow back to normal. Mizuki began to get heathier and stronger but the blank out moments still were there let alone some lasted longer then others. The was on Mizuki fighting anything. For if he blanked out for a single moment it could mean his life though Mizuki knew he was going to be okay.

Days past and the group still headed for their goal. The end boss of the game. Along the way they heard different stories from other players that the end boss was something to fear. Little details here and there were not enough to find out exactly what the beast was. It was all interesting to think of but at the moment there was other things to think about.

"Come on Thalion!" He said with a growl but the male wouldnt budge on the subject "You want me to get better and yet you wont allow me to do so!" He all but screamed. This was how it had been for a while now. Mizuki pestering Thalion to teach him more hand to hand but the male refused on the extend of his blank moments "How else am I going to learn?" He asked the male with a growl as he crossed his arms.

The group had stopped for the night just off the path they traveled. With the wagon to the side and a fire in the middle the group settled around it and talked with each other well more like they watched Thalion and Mizuki fight like usual.

Mizuki had been improving but what worried the group was that one of those moments were going to take place during the final battle they were trying to progress to. Most fights they encountered never lasted long enough to cause much worry if he did have one such moment.

Though tonight was just like any other, the group was settled for the evening and Thalion was biding his time till he would go scout for a few hours and come back. Though Mizuki had been bugging him for the past few days about the current subject.

He sighed finally before standing figuring it wouldn't hurt to start a bit early. "Your hand to hand is fine, nothing should get that close to you or Neimi for you to need such skills." More like he would rather him be at a distance so if he did happen to blank out he wasn't in the middle of swinging a weapon.

Though he grew tired of the others screaming well almost screaming as he snapped a little. "I am not teaching you just so you can get yourself killed if you happen to have one of those episodes of yours in the middle of combat."

With that being said he walked off probably better then him staying and this turning into a real fight or something. Things had been a little shaky to say the least though that seemed to be normal for this group.

Felix finally sighed before folding his arms. He didn't want to say Thalion had a point but he did. Luna seemed to refuse to teach Mizuki either yet he still tried to convince one of them to. It wasn't that such skills were bad to have but without them maybe he would stay at a range more then if he had them.

Thalion also a few times came close to saying his melee skills were fine seeing as he nearly beat him back at the drow city. Even if he was mind controlled it meant he still had the skill somewhere.

Was that really what they thought was going to happen? He was going to blank and get killed? Mizuki growled. That was stupid! How else was he suppose to help them if he couldnt fight? Mizuki knew he had magic but it only lasted so long and not to mention his spells were not the strongest.

Everything combined made Mizuki angry and sad all in one. If there was nothing he could do why was he still within the group? Mizuki didnt know all he knew was that he felt utterly useless.

With his ears down he watched the drow disapear into the darkness and he sighed. Moving he went and laid down in the wagon. He wanted to be alone and not in the open.

After that the group once again hit the road though it was a silent trip for some. Mizuki kept his mind busy thinking of different thing and because of that he didnt speak. No not in the slightest. He even often tooned anything around him out. For Mizuki felt defeated.

Everyone had danced around the topic and avoided saying what they really were thinking but hell it wasn't like it was unknown to the group or Mizuki. So he finally was the one that said it. It wasn't that he was trying to hurt the other. He was trying to keep him safe. Not that Mizuki would probably see it that way.

Either way the group traveled on like they normally did after that nigh. Though it was easy to tell that Mizuki wasn't the same, like he felt useless. Though no matter what was said now it didn't seem to help matters any. Of course this lead to Luna saying that it was Thalion's fault, and it was, but also that he had to fix it.

They had just settled into the inn at this town as he finally gave up getting anything out of Mizuki. Anymore he wasn't sure if he was just plain ignoring him or if he was stuck in his other state of mind. None the less he left Mizuki alone and went down stairs to join Felix.

Felix normally stayed near the bar to keep Neimi away, he normally wasn't even drinking. "Still nothing I take it?" Felix started as Thalion joined him and groaned a little. "I swear... if I ever do anything right I just turn around and shoot myself in the foot." Though Felix did agree on that statement. "Well.. you know how to make someone feel better don't you.." Was the reply back to Felix agreeing.

Though there did seem to be a few other groups here. Not too many others but still. Some odd gossip about a more recent group that fell to the boss monster and another that found some cave trolls and whatever stash they had. Though the other group was where his ears were tuned in. Something about a magic tome and relics. Though it seemed that group had failed and lost a few of their members.
