Default WHY NOW!?   #1
-cries a lil-

On the nightly news tonight, in their health segment.. They talked about a new Lung Cancer drug that IS NOT A CURE but it is added years onto trial goers lives.

Here is the story...

As some of you know I lost my mom 2 years ago to stage 4 lung cancer. So when this kinda stuff is discovered I am upset that it was to late for my mom but I do hope that this is the first steps to a cure..

Thanks so much littl3chocobo

(。◕‿◕。) It is sad that it was found too late for your
mom but at least others have a chance of a
life now with this drug. Now for them to find
drugs for everything else to add years to
everyone with problems and we will be set.

It is sad that it came to late for your mother...but would you all have been able to afford the 9,600 dollar price tag every month?

In my case, I doubt insurance would cover it since chemo could possibly work. So I would either have to just lay down and die or try chemo and possibly die. I have problems with medicine being expensive. Hell, a hundred dollars a month is too much for me. Many people who could use it will never be able to afford it until generics come out which then they may be dead. -pessimistic go!-
