Last book I actually finished was Wicked and that was a loooong time ago, like...I want to say early this year like January or even sometime last year. xD I have not been reading nearly enough at all.
Although I don't know if it counts as finishing cos I honestly skipped a huge chunk of the book and...y'know now that I think about it, I think I just stopped before I got to the ending. xD So nmind. Ugh I just...I wanted to love it thoroughly so bad, the concept was so awesome. And I did! I loved it right up to where Elphaba loses her lover and goes to his homeland and castle and god the whole story just came to a screeching halt. Boring chapter after boring chapter and she wasn't interesting anymore. I mean I know she would have changed after his death, but I guess I prefer younger, feisty and snappy Elphaba to old, bitter and cantankerous Elphaba. My school never made me read it, so I read it on my own for fun. :D I really enjoyed it, it's among my top favourites, with 1984 and Brave New World.

I loved 1984, too, but hated the ending. D<
Stupid dystopian novels, never ending how I like books to end. (Also, to be on topic, the last book I finished reading was Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, but that was a re-read. The last book I actually finished was The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver, and that was months ago for my Women in Literature class. I haven't been much of a reader lately, and I don't know why.) | ||||

I was in it in 4th, 5th and 6th grade, and to be honest...? I hated it. xD Not the course, I loved everything we got to do, how we had all these special projects and did things none of the other students did (like dissect cow hearts once) but it was the same kids all 3 years and we all hated one another by 6th grade, lmao. I was an outcast too. Outcast amongst the outcasts, how's that for tragedy. Some of my most favorite books were assigned to us then though, and that class got me to reading Madeline L'Engle and got me hooked on sci-fi and fantasy so it wasn't all bad. I Finished reading Elvenborn last night. I was both freaked out and frustrated. Freaked out, because the ending was scary, and I ended up sleeping with the lights on. Frustrated, because it brought in allot of stuff at the end, setting up for another book that I found out may not ever be released.
