Bald and loving it!

"Ouchie ouchie..." He repeated himself over and over, unaware that his roommate had come to look him over. He brushed along his arm where parts of ceramic bowl pierced his skin. "Its...Its alright." He said wide eyed at Jerial who was not only touching him, but cradling him in his arms trying to get a good look at the scratches. "I will be fine." He blushed being this close to the man. Now was not the time to get lost in his dreams, but with reality so close he could not help but lay his head on the others chest. "I am ffine." he repeated meekly into his roommate shirt.

he could feel the heat of the other's skin through his shirt and it worried him. the pleasantness of having the boy talk to him was not worth this, still cradling the other he did his best to pick him up and minding the pieces of porcelain took robin to his bed to rest. he would be ok with a silent roommate if it guaranteed his safety, there were no doctors around should anything happen

When Robin heard nothing and was simply lifted like a porcelain doll, he simply buried his head deeper surprised that he had forgotten himself and ashamed he had bothered his silent roommate. Many times he attempted to apologize but the words were stuck inside his mouth. It was not until he had gotten to his bed, and he was shrouded in cascading brown locks that he dared look at Jerial again. The faint flush was unexpectedly growling. As he was set on his bed tenderly Robin nervously swallowed. Closing his eyes he arched up meeting the others lips with his own and a pounding heart. “Thank you.” he whispered in the smallest of voices.

Robin did all that he could do. He blinked sheepishly at the man, and reached up to pull his glasses off his face. He did not fully understand what the mans slurred jumbled words meant. He politely cleared his throat. “Jerial... I did not understand...um.. .could you speak slower?”

lightly he shook his head and pulled away, "....you need to be more careful..... i mean... get rest!" freed of the grasp he turned tail and left as quickly as he could manage. he did not stop until he was once more locked in the tiny bathroom, he did not care if the neighbors could hear him banging his head on the wall

Gingerly, Robin touched the scars along his arm and blinked again trying to decipher the words that were spoke the first time. He closed his eyes letting his own foolishness bring a heat to his face. Why did I kiss him, he is not Jerial... opening his eyes he turned towards the thick leather clad volume. He smoothed his fingers over the binding before picking the heavy book up. Flipping through he found himself on the page where he left off.

He blinked, shivering as he woke. Some how he had fallen asleep in a thorn patch and his arm lay riddled in scratches and tiny blood welts. He sat up letting his hands fall from his lap and along with it two pristine blue roses. He pushed himself out of the thicket tucking the twin roses among his loose flaxen locks. Robin stumbled through the moon illuminated shadows to find the wise old Baba

the witch knew of the child's coming and so when the boy arrived the house was turned and the door ajar in preparation for his arrival. as the boy stepped past the gate the skulls that lined it all began to whisper amongst themselves, they did not know who this mortal youth was but they understood he was something special if the witch was inviting him

Timidly Robin step though the gate. He could not help but feel he was being watched. With a deep breath he followed the trail up to the womans house. In his hands he twisted one of the blue roses that was not resting in his hair. Lighty Robin knocked on the door. Inside he could hear a crying kettle. He knocked on the door. It creaked open before the sound could reverberate thought out the humble abode. “Hello?” Robin said questioning the space for his entry. He pushed his head inside the cottage asking with hellos if he could enter.

Robin became unaware of his fingers spinning the rose between his thumbs. His tattered dress swept the floor as he came kneeling by the elderly ladies fire. He closed his eyes thinking of his Jerial and the warm night spent in his arms. He wanted him back, badly. He swallowed letting his pale eyes drift towards the fire. “He is missing... He was stolen from me.” He turned his head towards the woman not sure how to proceed.

holding her hand to the child she offered a small flat smile. "blue roses fed with love and blood and tears. give me the flowers and ask your question child. the hour grows late for stumbling and i grow hungry"

He looked around desperate and not wanting to waste his question but staying by the fire was tempting. He closed his eyes. With a shaky hand he gave the woman three blue flowers. He would go into the fray of the night for his beloved. “How do I get m y beloved back.” He said turning once more to the elderly woman.

the witch knew the child had overpaid but she was reluctant to give back the means of youth and quickly rose from her seat to set the kettle to boil. "you must travel through the seasons and take him from the castle of the snow queen and wash out the shard from his heart with the purest water of love, that is how you will get the prince to return." she held out an arm and offered a light dip. "but that is for the morrow, tonight you will stay here and rest but be warned if you are here at the second cock's crow i shall eat you"

He merely nodded, unsure where to sleep or what the woman wanted him of him. Like a lost puppy, he followed behind the woman was given a slice of bread to eat and a spot by her hearth to sleep. He curled up with the remains of his dinner in his chest unable to sleep. Just before the rays of dawn graced the room, Robin abandoned the Yaga's house. He had no idea how he would travel through the seasons and find his beloved but he would.

the book was growing frustrated, more than anything it wanted the reader to be happy. with a quiver of it's pages the book corrected the story again.

the child left the witch's house before the sun could crest the trees and the house of baba yaga was still sleeping. silently he passed through the yard and past the fence though as he did he tripped over a lone skull laying half buried in the dirt. picking it up the boy saw it was like the ones on the fence. with a shiver the skull shook in his hands. "put me on the fence, please child, if you do i will tell you a secret"
