Canada knows the Confederacy is joking but he can't help but say, "No, they only serve syrup." The shop actuall serves almost everything from Canadian Bacon to Miso Soup. The resturant comes into view and the sign above the door proclaims, "The Not Diner, We have Everything you Want to Eat and More."

[Yokuutsu]

"Then they won't be open for looooong. No one needs that much syrup. No one. In the universe." He just tilts his head at the name of the place. "I'm not even going to ask." He doesn't think he wants to know actually. It's a weird name to say the least.

"What about me?" Canada asked, "And all other syrup lovers?" Canada made dramtic guesters as though dying then stood up and started wlaking normally again. "Good thing not to ask about the name because the story is very long," Canada said as he opened the door for the Confederacy.

"Hello, and welcome to the Not Diner." Said a very cheerfull greeter as soon as they entered.

[Yokuutsu]

"Yeah, but I doubt ya'll live off of it. Ya'll would all be diabetic otherwise." That would be a lot of diabetics. He giggles a bit at Canada being all dramatic. "I wasn't going to ask." He just stays close to Canada as he looks around at the place. "Hello."

(We need to come up with alternative names for him...every country has one)

The greeter still smiling turns around and shouted to the kitchen, "Matthew is here and brought a guest!" Then in a much politer tone said, "Follow me to your table, Matthew honey." She started to lead them to the table and on the way asked, "And what is your name honey?"

Canada the whole time was grining at the waitresses antics, knowing why she did them.

(Yes, he does. Could he be William or is that already taken?)

He just makes sure to keep close to Canada. He was surprised by the sudden yelling if only temporary. He just follows after the two. "Ah....I'm William." Well, he has no clue about why she does what she does. He's just kind of trying to go with it.

(If there is, too bad lol)

"Hello, William." The waitress says with a grin as she arrives at their table, "Don't let Matthew scare you, he's a big softie on the inside." She pulls out her tablet as Canada sits down, "The normal for you, Mat honey?"

"Yes, please." Canada answers.

"And for you, William?" The waitress asked.

[Yokuutsu]

William tilts his head a bit. He hasn't seen the other be all scary or anything yet, so what does she mean by that? "What do you normally get?" He has no clue what he wants or what there is at this place, so what does Mattie here get?

"I normally get the coffee with syrup and the pancakes with syrup." Canada answers and the waitress give him a look.

The waitress nods, "And if he doesn't want that he takes something else...with syrup. I don't know where he keeps it all."

[Yokuutsu]

"Maybe his blood is actually syrup." That would make sense on why no diabetes yet in his mind. "Something with bacon. Lots of bacon." And not that Canadian bacon. That is ham. Not bacon. Not that William cares. It's food and it tastes good to him either way.

[DarkForbidden-Love]

"American bacon or Canadian bacon?" The waitress asked imediatly, "Or both?" She addedd eying up how thin William was. "I'll get you both and what do you want to drink?"

Canada is watching the whole procession with amusement but is glad that the Confederacy is not acting like most people and contries act when introduced to this resterant.

[Yokuutsu]

William kind of snorts a bit, but doesn't say anything. He knows he's kind of scrawny at this point. Things had to be sacrificed and much work had to be done. So he lost some weight. "Mmmm...sweet tea?" It is the drink of choice in the South. What do other people act like when they come here? He just knows to try and not be a jerk.

"Okay, I'll be back in a second with your drinks and more syrup." The waitress says and then disappears towards the kitchen.

"What do you think of the Not Diner and Canada so far?" Canada asks the Confederacy curious to what the new nation though of the crazy diner.

[Yokuutsu]

"Thank you." He says to the waitress. "I think it's strange." He says simply. "But a good strange." He smiles up at Matthew/Canada. "So I like it....though if you eat that much syrup....I'm sticking with the your blood is actually syrup thing."

"My blood is real blood." Canada defended with a grin. "And the servers just like to joke about the fact I like syrup on almost everything.I don't eat if with shell fish though." He made a face at the idea of syrup and shell fish.

[Yokuutsu]

"It's syrup. I'm sticking with that." William giggles a bit...then starts laughing as he thinks about what could happen if there was a syrup shortage. Yes, he has some problems. Or just a lot. "So you eat it on other fish?" He makes a bit of a face-trying to not make the full out face.
