ah im not the only one forced to do them by hand still? xD it seems like everyone i talk to has a dishwasher lol

I had to do my dishes by hand last semester, but my apartment now has a dishwasher. I usually do most of it by hand anyway unless I'm in a hurry, though. we have a dish scrubby brush thing that makes it pretty easy.

@ Rose ;; Yeah I have to do them by hand. I absolutely hate it. When I have spare money I think I might invest in a counter top dish washer. They're small but I don't care. Small is better than none. D:

@ Luci ;; You're weird haha. If I had a dish washer, I'd never wash by hand again unless I had to. Like pots and pans, stuff like that. But anything else? Into the dish washer it would go. XD

I usually cook for myself, so I always have a pot or pan to wash. I also handwash cutting knives because we only have one small one and one medium one, and I hate when I can't find either of them. especially the small one. it's easiest for my green onions and cilantro, which I use all the time.
while I'm at it, I might as well just wash the spatula, spoon, whatever I cooked with, and then my plate isn't hard because it's flat, and scrubbing a fork takes just as long as opening the dishwasher and sticking it in. XD so that's why I handwash dishes. if we didn't have a scrubby brush, I would definitely just stick it in the dishwasher.

for about 300 you could almost get a normal dishwasher (around 500-600 i think?) but still if its all you can fit then its a good idea o.o

im kinda hopping that we can get a 2 bedroom apt when we do move out..instead of a one bedroom cause then we'll have a little extra space at least >.<;

I have a decent size 1 bedroom. The kitchen is about the only small thing lol. Seriously, you face one way, and there's the cupboard and sink. Turn around, there's the stove and the fridge. You open the oven door and it touches the bottom kitchen cupboards. XD
