I posted these yesterday on Ernya:

A few months ago I met one of my boyfriend's friends. We quickly became good friends. Whenever I was with my boyfriend, we would take an opportunity to chill with him. He's a really sweet, funny, caring and kind guy. He's a good guy.

I recently helped him get through a few difficult things. He was lead on by a girl, he took her on dates and spoiled her. He really wanted a serious relationship. Then he caught her lying to him, and she pretty much told him that she didn't have any real interest in him. It was shitty. Since he opened up to me, I bitched a bit about my family whenever they annoyed me.

Well. I guess I shouldn't have. Last night he seemed very flirtatious. Not one to remain silent. I sent him a text straight up asking "Are you hitting on me?" to which he replied "I guess so". I felt really... thrown off. Then asked "Do you like me?" I knew he was a really friendly guy, but sometimes I found him a bit too friendly. Then he replied "Just about everything." Confused, I asked again and he replied "To be more direct, yes". I asked why he liked me. He then explained it was because he had gotten to know me better and that I was a really great person.

I nearly shit myself. Well, not really. I wasn't that surprised, but at the same time I almost slammed my head against my wall in frustration. I told him that it was inappropriate to like me. Like... I have a boyfriend. And he's his good friend on top of it. That's so weird. He realised it was bad, and apologized for hitting on me. He actually felt really bad... and then it got extremely awkward.

We haven't spoken since last night, I told him that I don't feel comfortable chilling with him alone anymore.

So, yesterday I posted about how my friend confessed to liking me. He is also one of my boyfriend's best friends.
Yesterday was pretty awkward, we were suppose to hang out today but we cancelled it. And he also didn't text me at all yesterday. I decided to just stop texting him, if he wants to talk then he could text me.
When he did text me? He sent a bunch of messages and he was just rambling on like a mad man. I was so confused. In one he said "I think it's funny that your relationship was bad, then I admit that I like you and then the next day your relationship is OK." ( he knew that my boyfriend and I were in a difficult situation. ) So... he's pretty much saying that I went back to my boyfriend when he said that he liked me? Or something like that? I have no fucking clue what he's thinking or saying to be honest. Then another text was about how girls can't handle the truth and that he's not going to lie and say that he's happy that my relationship is OK.

I almost horribly bitched at him. But I decided to be the mature one and say "Relationships can be up and down. There will be conflict. Fights happen, it's normal. It doesn't matter if in the end I'm happy with my boyfriend and he's happy with me. We're OK now. He called me. He apologized to me, I apologized to him. We cried a bit, I don't care if that sounds pathetic. But now we're OK. And we're happy."
To which he replied with "That's all that matters then, I'll ttyl."
After he had seemed so mad.
WTF.
I think he's just upset that I'm with my boyfriend still and that I'm not single...

Anyways.
I'm not texting him anymore or anything. o___o
This got too weird.

I'm really confused now.
I accidentally left some colouring markers at his house.
I sent a text giving him a heads up, I want them back.
He said it's OK, they're in good hands and that I could get them whenever. When I said "I assume that we're not friends anymore" he said "Not the case, but it's weird now."

Hmmm my friends have gone through stuff like this before some good advice i find help them is this...

Be carefull around him not so much that he notice's but enough that no more feelings are stirred up, and this should eventualy cause things to fade and you guys can be friends again with out any 'hard feelings' or anything, that's if you choose to be friends again that is....

I do still want to be his friend. He's a good guy, despite this entire awkward situation. I'll just stop texting him. If he asks to chill with me and my boyfriend or just to chill, I'll say sure. But I'll make sure to keep my distance.
