Yeah, it's not a good thing to say yes just to make other people happy. There's no use rushing into an engagement. You have to be sure you really want to spend the rest of your life with him. I knew that I wanted to marry Eric because I always want to be with him. Every good thing in my life, I want him to be there to share it with me. When I'm feeling down, being with him makes me feel better. Even if I'm frustrated with something he does or says, I would rather be with him and talk to him about it than to go tell one of my roommates or girl friends. I don't ever know what I did with my life before I met him, and I can't imagine a future without him. When you both feel that way about each other, that's when you know it's right to get married. Age doesn't matter as much as emotional maturity does.
