@ Funk - Things are getting slightly better now though. People's mindsets are pretty much "it happened, but it's time to move on."

I'm not saying that I'm still freaked out about it, but even New Orleans is taking a while to recover. I only hope, that my unknown relatives can get on their feet quickly enough.

What? I live with a cake decorator and I never get enough cake out of that so I know stuff. Important cake stuff.

::leaves Duchess a slice of red-velvet(chocolate) cake covered in black(dark green) frosting:: cause you deserve it :D

Funk: not that I'm complaining...but for what have I earned such noteworthy respect? Was it the cake? and that the cake was a lie? cause, well, it's not a lie, it's just a cheap, dirty trick. Cupcakes, those, those are a lie.

It's the Style, Fey. That's something you got going for ya. It's not every day that I find someone who can write out something that is quite...not precisely well written, but... well made. It's like the difference between a ballet girl's graceful movements and a mocking marine (no offense to them). It's just the way you wrote that; that's all.

Like how one of my two favoritest cats ever was named Duchess, and now I picture our b-day girl as a cute calico Persian with a party hat on her head. This, btw, is a good thing. Cause what Duchess wants, Duchess gets.
