Adelais raised a brow as he read the message, "Somehow I doubt that..but.." He texted Aaron back; 'Feel better. Let me know if I can get you anything.' With a sigh, he shoved his phone back into his pocket. Now what was he to do? He was rather excited for the dinner date. He would stop by unannounced, but that was incredibly rude. He hoped that Aaron wasn't trying to get rid of him. He frowned a bit at that thought, flopping down onto his couch.

Aaron sighed as he red the text from Adelais, he felt horrible to do that to him. But he felt something wasn't right, he tugged on his shirt and noticed a hole in it. He furrowed his brow at the sight of it, "That wasn't there before." He got up off of the couch and went to the bathroom. He lifted up his shirt and saw that there was blood on his side. "What the hell?" He ran his hand over the blood and didn't feel anything wrong. "Something is going on here..." He trailed off as he heard a car door slam loudly. He quickly moved to the window and peeked out as he kept his body hidden. "Damn it!" He hissed as he noticed it was his bosses men. He grabbed his phone as he quickly moved to get his bag. "You didn't tell anyone about me did you?" He texted Adelais as he grabbed his bag. He quickly went to his room to grab a few things.

'Of course not...what's wrong?' He quickly got from his couch and teleported himself to the basement. He grabbed a small pistol and a few knifes, strapping them to their appropriate places. He sighed, wondering vaguely if he should grab his shot gun. He shook his head, and disappeared, appearing in an ally way just off to the side of Aaron's apartment. Interesting... he watched the men as they made their way into the building. This definitely did not bode well.

Aaron quickly emptied his safe into the duffel bag, he grabbed his favorite pistol and katana. He unsheathed the katana and swung it to get the feel for it. It had been a long time since he last used it. He threw on a black trench coat and tossed in all of his full magazine cartridges also a few other things for later. As well as loaded one into the gun. He tossed the bag over his shoulder and slowly made it to the door. He quietly cocked the gun and listened for the peoples footsteps. He heard the men mumble something and he knew there was one right in front of the door. He stepped away from the door and shot a few times. He knew the bullets would go through the door, but would they hit the target? "Fuck!" He whispered when he heard bullet strings jingle. He quickly jumped out of the way and hid behind the couch, he knew they had machine guns. He covered his ears as the men opened fire on his door.

Adelais teleported himself to the hallway as soon as he heard gunfire. He grabbed one of the men by the shoulder spinning him around to get momentum, then threw him at the door, busting it off it's weakened hinges. "So you're the reason why my date was canceled. Now I'm mad." He eye glowed a bright red as he took his knife from it's sheath, throwing it at the man he just launched into the apartment. The gunfire had paused as the remaining men looked back to see what the hell was going on.

One of them pulled out a pistol, firing off two round into Adelais's chest. The vampire peered down, frowning, "This was my favorite jacket..You humans have no respect.." He sighed, not bothering with a knife or gun. He gathered up some power and sent a powerful telekinetic blast at the men, throwing them back into the wall.

Aaron jumped up when he saw a few men fly into his apartment. Suddenly a man ran at Aaron with a small knife, he glanced around and saw Adelais. "Well not totally." He ducked as the man swung the knife at his neck. He landed backwards and was in a crab. "Your gonna have to do better then that." He couldn't hold out much longer because of his arm. He kipped up, just missing the man jabbing the knife downwards. In one fluid motion he swung his katana into the man's abdomen. As he pulled the blade across the man's abdomen he pointed the gun at the man's head. As he fully pulled the blade across the man's abdomen he pulled the trigger. The bullet went right into the man's temple, killing him instantly. He looked to the TV screen and saw the reflection of a man behind himself in the middle of throwing a knife. He turned around just as the man released the knife. He picked up the end table and put it in front of his face. He crossed his eyes as the knife penetrated the wood. He smirked and tossed the table at the man. He ran at the man after the table hit him, before the man would know Aaron jammed his katana into his abdomen. "You should know not to fuck with me." He brought the pistol to the man's forehead. And pulled the trigger at point blank range. Aaron smirked as blood splashed all over his body.

Adelais sighed as a few others stood back up. One of the men threw a knife, surprisingly with good aim with it lodging in his right eye. Adelais let out a deep, aggravated sigh. "And Genevieve wonders why I sit and sulk all day?" He shook his head, turning his back to them as he went over to Aaron. As soon as he went in the doorway, the remaining men suddenly fell as their hearts exploded in their chests. He gave Aaron a once over, "You alright?"

Seeing no new wounds on the man, he stepped back, pulling the knife from his eye, taking his eye patch off as it now served no purpose with a gaping hole in it. As he threw the knife into a corpse, the eye repaired itself, returning to it's traditional white-blue color while his other returned to it's traditional ice blue color. "Now, what, may I ask, is going on?" He dusted himself off, examining his ruined jacket with a deep sigh.

"Ya I'm fine... And you..?" Aaron trailed off as he watched Adelais' eye heal. "Well, how come that doesn't surprise me?" He pointed the the now healed eye. "Anyway, I really don't know. All I know is that I fell asleep while reading..." He trailed off while he pointed to the cookbooks on the coffee table. "Then when I woke my bosses men were barreling down on my apartment. Speaking of..." He trailed off as he grabbed some C4 from his pockets. He went to a corner and stuck one of the C4 on the wall. He went to the closet and pulled out a hammer. He went around to the men and smashed their teeth in, as well as cut off their finger prints. He tossed a C4 on the stove, "We are going to want to go." He looked to Adelais with a small frown as he tossed another C4 down his hall.

Adelais rolled his eyes, "You know...that wont really help you..their prints are over everything, as are yours..." He watched as Aaron tossed the C4 into the oven, "So you're going to kill about 50 people..just for the sake of destroying evidence? You humans are so...rash.." He shook his head a bit, exiting the apartment but remaining in the hall, glancing around. He could hear people getting ready to investigate. He looked back into the apartment, "..I have a much better idea..." He pulled the one form the hall with telekinesis, shoving it into his pocket. He went back into the apartment, grabbing all the C-4 and handing it to Aaron, "You're going to want to warn your neighbors your kitchen has caught fire.." He shoved the man from the apartment, and waited. He wanted to at least give the other humans a chance to escape. As soon as they would leave the building, they would forget all about the gun fire.

Aaron nodded as Adelais handed him the C4, and put them in his pocket. He walked over to where the fire extinguisher was and pulled his sleeve over his hand and pulled the fire alarm. He rushed back to his apartment, "Better?" He smiled a bit. He glanced down at the floor and saw a nice looking pistol, he quickly picked it up and put it in his pocket.

Adelais sighed as Aaron came back, "That also mean get the hell out..you know that right?" He chuckled a bit, snapping his fingers. The cabinets suddenly catching fire above the stove. The fire spread rapidly over the kitchen and through the rest of the apartment. Before much could happen, Adelais covered Aaron's eyes with his hands and teleported them both to his own apartment. It was a two floor loft, basic layout, basic design. Nothing fancy. He removed his hands from Aaron's eyes, "This will certainly be interesting."

Aaron looked around the loft, "You get more interesting by the moment." He nodded. "I have to go." He pointed to nothing in particular. "I must of done something to piss my boss off, and I don't want you to get hurt even though I'm assuming that your not human." He clicked his tongue. He felt for his bag and was glad to find that it still was around his neck.

He ran his hand through his hair, flicking Aaron on the forehead, releasing his memory, "The damn woman never does anything right..either way, the best place you can be is with me..." He hurried off upstairs, grabbing an extra eye patch and tying it over his eye as he came back down, "And you're right..I'm not..human, but that's not the main point right now."

The white haired woman sighed as she stepped into the tall office complex in the heart of Yuma, Arizona. She approached the main desk, leaning on the counter, her red eyes and white hair hidden under the cover of her cloak, "I need to speak with Rubrum...it's a very important matter.."

Aaron sighed as Adelais disappeared upstairs, "I can take care of myself." He removed the duffel bag from his neck and laid it on a chair. He unzipped it and pulled out some wet wipes. He quickly cleaned his face and hands off, he always carried some with him. He removed his pistol from his jacket pocket and placed it in the back of his pants. He took off his jacket and laid it across the back of the chair. He took off his shirt and wiped the blade of his katana off before he sheathed it. He dug under the piles of money to pull out a shirt. He turned around as he heard Adelais speak, "Well the point is that I need to take my demon boss out. But I'm assuming that I will die trying." He pulled his shirt on. "Which in a way doesn't even matter, because even if I do somehow kill him the hit will still be out on me." He unclipped his katana from his belt.


"I'm sorry ma'am, but there is no one here by that name." The man at the counter smiled a little.

"Precisely, which is why I will take care of it...If you'll let me..." Adelais bit his lip slightly as he saw Aaron pull of his shirt, eying hte human's muscular chest for a moment. He quickly adverted his gaze before he could notice, his eyes falling to rest on the bloodied sword. He shrugged, his eye flashing red as he eyed the bloody katana and shirt. He forced the thirst down, his eye returning to blue, "Although, I personally wont be doing much..demons are much stronger than vampires and unlike us, their power does not rely on how much blood we drink. Plus, I'm not looking forward to dueling a demon to begin with.."

The woman sighed, closing her eyes for a moment before opening them. She pulled her hood down to reveal her alabaster skin, red eyes and pure white hair. She leaned on one arm against the counter, looking down at the man tapping her other nail loudly. "Look, I know he's here. I tracked him here..Rubrum...Mr. Norewood..I don't what you call him, I demand to speak with him."

Aaron chuckled a bit, "You just checked me out didn't you?" He raised his eyebrow for a moment. He waved his hand to let Adelais know he was joking or was he? "Well then, how can a demon be killed?" He laid the shirt on his bag. "I know for vampires its decapitation, fire, and a steak through the heart. And since it's 3:30 in the afternoon, and you have your curtains open I'm assuming sun has no direct influence on you." He pointed and looked at Adelais.

"Mr. Norewood isn't in right now. You'll have to come back at a later time." The man nodded and went back to his computer.
