Speaking of curses, there is supposedly a curse that whoever plays Superman in live action films. Not sure about voice acting, but a lot have suffered very painful accidents that have killed or paralyzed them.

He died making a film as did his Son. He has a daughter but she can't be in any films in fear the same thing may happen.
