Serus set him down on the bed, sitting next to him, "No, he won't dear. He's just stressed that Holden might..might not make it..again." She sighed deeply, feeling really bad for Solomon and Holden.

"I can try?"

He shook his head, "No..I'm not finished yet." He sighed, glancing upwards where Jaelynn stood. He grabbed onto her telekinetic and transported her to the room. He looked at her with a slight frown, "Is there anything you can do for him? I can't manipulate spirits, but perhaps you or one of the demons...?"

Jaelynn was about to ask Azriel a question but suddenly found herself in the room with Solomon and Holden. She furrowed her brow, "The most i can do is analyze him and try to fix the bond..but I don't know how long I could keep it up or how well it'll work...or.." she paused, then sighed, "..if it'll make it worse."

Solomon stepped aside, "Just do it..if he's going to die, I'll turn him..."

Seth sighed, "If he wouldn't of woken up so fast he probably wouldn't be dieing, again.." He said trailing off.

"I'm dieing Hayden, I want you to make sure Solomon doesn't die again. And to turn Alicia when she wakes up." Holden said feeling a chill. "Jae... You did everything you could, this body doesn't want my soul in it." He said with a weak smile. He pondered for a moment, "Wait!" He said weakly sitting up. "Mystic, come here please!" Holden said knowing Mystic could hear him.

Jaelynn shook her head, "I could help Holden..we just need to do a bit of finagling to get things right."

Mystic appeared, an exhausted look on his face, "What Holden? I'd really like to get this all over with so I can sleep for a few hundred years..."

Solomon eyed Holden carefully, what was he planning?

"You're not going to die Holden..Solo won't let that happen."

Serus ran her hand through his hair gently, giving him a light kiss on the lips, "That was out of our control..just don't worry about it alright? I'm sure everything will be fine."

Holden glanced at Jaelynn then to Mystic. He swung his legs off of the bed, "I um read somewhere." He said griping his head trying to think. "That there is a way to talk to the real.. Um thingy... Soul..." He trailed off feeling more weakness. He stood up, and wobbled a little bit, "And to fight for control over the body, I don't know if it is true but..." He trailed off again as he walked over to Mystic. His vision went blurry for a second, he tripped and fell to his knees. He waved everyone from him, he stood up, and looked at Mystic. "Is it possible? If it is I.." He trailed off as his chest got tighter. "Leave me alone you fucking spirits!" He said looking around. He made it weakly to Mystic, "Is it possible?" Holden asked very pale.

"I guess." Seth said closing his eyes. He leaned his head on Serus' shoulder.

Mystic put his arms around Holden's waist without a word, looking downward to look at Holden and rest his forehead against his. His violet eyes stared at Holden for a second, glowing rather sharply, "Solomon, go help Azriel with Alicia. I will take care of Holden...Jaelynn will assist you as well. Won't you dear?"

Solomon tensed as Mystic held Holden; it made him a bit jealous, even if he knew the demon had no romantic intentions towards Holden. He nodded then brought himself and Jaelynn upstairs, "You ready Azriel?" Without a response, he sat at the edge of the circle.

Azriel nodded, sitting at the circle with Solomon as she pulled out a rather interesting knife. "I hope you knew her well enough to find her quickly...I'm sure Jaelynn will be about frozen by the time we come back." With that, her eyes began to glow brightly as the room reverted tot hat tell-tale state of ice and cold. Within a few seconds they were in the Ethereal Realm.

Jaelynn hugged herself tightly as the room suddenly decreased in temperature and as the creepy face-laden ice came about. She kept her eyes glued to Solomon, trying to block out the cold. She was surprised Azriel did this so quickly, and without a spell. It took Mystic almost twice as long...

Holden closed his eyes as Mystic placed his forehead on his. "I am going to die again aren't I?" He asked as he felt coldness engulf the room. "And don't lie to me." Holden said as he felt blood pooling in his lungs again.

Seth suddenly got a chill over him, "Jae..." He whispered as he concentrated on her. He sent a little warmth to her body, he made it slowly go over her entire body. Seth's nose started to bleed as he deeply concentrated on Jaelynn.

Serus swatted Seth, disrupting his power, "She'll survive Seth, leave her be. I don't want any more power in that room than necessary...I don't want to risk messing them up."

Mystic continued to stare at Holden, and soon, Holden's eyes became the same color, "Not at all Holden. Oh my..well..actually you might..." The two were stiff as statues as Mystic continued to analyze Holden and the body separately. Suddenly, deep lacerations appeared on his skin, thick purple blood falling from the wounds. He let out a grunt as one of his wings was ripped away from his shoulder and yanked back before snapping in many places. and hanging limply behind him. "Holden, this boy was no ordinary human...he was a Paladin; a holy knight essentially. It can sense the vampiric touch in your spirit and is retaliating. That is why you woke up instantly and have been having problems ever since. I...don't know what to do about it Holden...just bear with me.." His eyes became a bright red as he worked to keep Holden alive; keeping his lungs clear of blood and the pressure in his brain at a normal psi. He also kept Holden's heart in rhythm as he thought.

Jaelynn could sense a bit of warmth come over her, and knew it was from Seth, but it quickly slipped away. She yelped as the sudden chill overcame her again. She fell to her knees, curling up and trying to keep herself warm. It wasn't nearly as cold as the last two times...

Solomon searched around the Realm until he found what he thought was Alicia's spirit. He hurried over, but quickly frowned, "Dammit..that's not her...Gaah" Solomon grabbed his head a bit as he felt immense pressure. He quickly dispelled it, searching for Alicia's spirit telepathically. Finally, he found her. He instructed Azriel where to go; since he couldn't actually touch a spirit even while in the realm.

Azriel grabbed onto Alicia's spirit as her physical body rammed the knife into the stranger's heart, killing her instantly. She removed the knife, quickly healing the heart and surrounding areas that may have gotten damaged. Her Ethereal form took Alicia by the arm and forcibly threw her into the body. The force was require to make the host spirit leave the body. Once she saw it, she quickly destroyed the host spirit entirely.

As they left the Ethereal Realm, Solomon was forced backwards, crashing into Jaelynn while Azriel was simply driven downward, cracking the floor boards. Her skin was almost pure white, her black veins pulsing beneath the now translucent skin. She shivered violently as the room slipped back to it's normal self. She rocked back and forth, trying to warm her body as she finished attaching Alicia's spirit. It wasn't until she was sure it would hold that she allowed herself to fall to the side, curling up tightly to warm herself up.

Suddenly she bolted upright, "Fuck! I.." No time to speak. Her eyes flitted about as she looked for something anything that could be of any use to her. She couldn't find anything. With a growl she grabbed onto something int he air and disappeared.

Jaelynn yelled out as Solomon crashed into her and as they both hit the wall. "Dammit Solomon.." She stood, helping the vampire up, "You alright?"

Solomon let out a grunt as he stood, brushing himself off, "Ye-yeah...I think so. I almost messed up."

The girl moaned slightly.

Seth nodded as he opened his eyes, he fell back on the bed. "Sorry hun." He said wiping the blood away from his nose.

"Is there a way to remove the Paladin from this body?" Holden asked as he felt the coldness go away. "I don't want to die again Mystic.." He said as a tear slipped from his closed eyes.

Suddenly a female voice boomed throughout the room. "How dare you touch my son's body you disgusting demon, and then to put this vampire in it." The voice said as the room started to get really hot. The female voice started muttering a spell.

Jaelynn rushed over to the girl, transferring her to the bed and analyzing her, "Azriel is quite amazing...I don't really need to do anything...I will keep an eye on her though."

Mystic flinched a bit, but not from the voice. Something went wrong upstairs. He just hoped Azriel would be able to handle it. "It would be very very painful Holden. We would almost be better off killing you and reattaching you to someone else.." Suddenly he moved, his arms going around Holden's shoulders and pulling him close as his good wing, and now healed wing, wrapped around them both. He erected a strong barrier around the two; his wings would act as a buffer for most magical attacks..most.

Holden felt awkward being held so close to Mystic, but he did feel safe. Again not as safe as if he was in Solomon's arms. "I don't want to die Mystic." Holden kept repeating over and over.

Suddenly a blonde hared woman appeared in the room, "That wont help you much demon." The woman said as she made a circle with her hands. She started muttering another spell.

Suddenly Felix and a red hared woman appeared, "Thank you darling~" The woman said placing a quick kiss on Felix's cheek. She stepped forward and put her hands on her hips. "So Diana we finally meet. I have been searching for you for fifty years." She said as she pulled the woman's spell away.

"H-..how did you..?" The woman asked looking up. "Camelia! How dare you get involved with these creatures. The witches council is against them." The woman who was called Diana said.

"I am way more powerful then you Diana. I do have a few hundred years on you. I don't even need to do a incantation." Camelia said with a smile. "I am the witches council." She said as her eyes glared red.

"How i-..is that possible? You weren't even around them. You were a damn butler to these creatures." Diana said slightly wide eyed.

Camelia threw her head back in a monstrous laugh, "Maybe you have heard of this term, I am a Strigoi viu."She said with an evil smile. "My darling Felix turned me about fifteen years ago." She said wiggling her fingers.

"How did you survive? There has only been a few cases and those witches died." Diana said worried.

"Don't worry about me sweety, just worry about yourself." Camelia said as she lunged at Diana.

Felix got wide eyed when Camelia said that she was turned. He didn't tell Seth or Serus that he turned her.

"Oh, we know about that already Felix. We know everything~"

Mystic went back to trying to fix Holden as Camelia appeared. He replaced his forehead onto Holden's their eyes matching colors again, "This is going to be extremely painful Holden. I won't be able to make it any less so unfortunately, I just simply don't have the power right now. When Hayden and Seth appeared in the ally way, the Paladin already sensed them and went into defense mode. When he was knocked out, I'm sure his mother and/or himself enabled a spell that allowed a part of his spirit to remain behind...that is what's fighting you right now..just that tiny bit of power. It won't last long, but it'll kill you before it fades away, that's for sure. I'm going to try and separate it from you..." And with that, he began to mutter quietly in demon tongue, the spell designed to forcibly rip the Paladin spell/spirit from Holden's body.

Felix tensed as he heard Serus' voice in his head.

Holden nodded his head slightly. He suddenly felt a huge wave of pain radiate over his body. It was worse then when he was tortured, he didn't want to scream out because he was right in front of Mystic. He felt light headed and passed out, but he quickly regained consciousness. Holden couldn't hold back the screaming, so he finally let loose and screamed bloody murder.

Camelia tackled Diana to the floor. She wrapped her hands around Diana's throat and started to break her neck. When Holden screamed out she quickly covered her ears. She was only a few feet away from Mystic and Holden.

When Camelia let go of her throat, Diana quickly started to say a spell. When she finish the spell Camelia got sent back and slammed into the wall. Diana stood up and grabbed a little stick out of her robe. She mumbled something and it quickly turned into a staff.

Camelia put a weak telekinetic shield around her bones so none would get broken. When she landed on the floor she looked up and saw that Diana had a staff. "Shit!" She whispered. Camelia quickly stood up and did a complex array in the air.

Mystic made no indication he was hearing anything..well he wasn't. In fact, he wasn't even seeing what was going on around him. He was so focused on trying to remove the Paladin's spell on the body. After quite some time, Mystic's skin began to lighten as it had when he was attaching Holden's spirit; his muscles twitched, shivering. Holden would start to feel that Mystic and the air around the both of them was quickly decreasing in temperature. "D-dammit Holden..I'm sorry...with her being so close this is mildly difficult in my current condition. Try to not move any more than necessary.."

The lacerations on his skin reopened as he continued fighting with his spell. The extreme cold was causing him to stammer and loose focus, but he never stopped. A loud snap was heard as his femur was suddenly broken in three places, causing him to fall to his knees and bring Holden with him; their foreheads never loosing contact, "Sorry Holden..". His muscles tensed as he felt a spike in power and suddenly, he found himself missing an ear! "Grah!" He quickly pulled away from Holden, pushing him away as he grabbed his ear..or where it was, with his other hand. He put his head to the floor, driving his forehead into the hardwood from pain, "God dammit! Cameila get that stupid witch out of here!" By now, his skin was almost completely translucent, revealing a very intricate structure of vein and muscle work.

Azriel was there second later, holding something rather..odd. A large box..about four and a half feet in length and three feet in depth. She quickly set it down and hurried over to Mystic, moving his hand away and assessing the damage. She sighed with relief, "It'll grow back.." And suddenly, her bright orange eyes were on Holden, glowing with fury and power, "Don't worry Holden, I'm not going to hurt you..well..I will, but you'll see." Suddenly her hand altered; becoming a bit distorted and appearing to be see through; the effect spreading up her entire arm.

She jabbed her hand forward, her open palm stopping centimeters form Holden's face while her Ethereal arm continued forward. She began to mutter the rest of Mystic's spell for him as she latched onto the remaining bits of the Paladin's spirit and yanking it out. Quite painful indeed. She moved away from Holden, holding the spirit; which was invisible to them of course, and muttered a quick spell to decimate it.

"It's alright Felix, we don't care. You know what you're doing. I'm actually rather proud of you; you accomplished something very rare."

When Camelia finished the array she sent it at Diana. The array snapped the staff in half and drew in its magic. With the new found magic power it quickly attached to Diana and removed her magic abilities. Suddenly Camelia fell to her knees, that little array took a lot of energy from her. She quickly stood back up, she reached behind Felix and grabbed out a knife. She swiftly ran at Diana, when she reached her she jumped up in the air and jammed the knife into Diana's skull, killing her instantly. Camelia landed on the floor panting.

"Tha-.." Felix said as he noticed Diana dead and Camelia on the floor. He ran over to her, "Camelia are you alright?" He asked pulling her into a hug.

Holden felt a huge pain as his knees broke when Mystic landed on top of him. He started crying as he was in a lot of pain. He fell forwards grabbing his chest. When Azriel continued where Mystic left off, he felt more pain. "Very powerful." He thought to himself. He gasped for air as the spirit was finally out of his body. He knew Solomon was in his head, he was feeling light headed, "Solomon." Holden said weakly as he fell to the floor and slipped into a coma.

Azriel let Holden fall as her arm reassembled. She quickly went back over to Mystic, kneeling beside him, "You alright? Here, let me see it..I think we can reattach it if you want..." She picked the ear from the floor, "Although~ I think I might have an idea for this little creature~" She quickly became serious again, noting to the box, speaking in demon tongue, "Es'z saa yoldu sa slofzbyl es oroef ofk xu swy sety qy berily qwa es ez qy qaf's xy oxdy sa..za..es'z zsipn swyly. Ka uai swefn swos'dd hazy o hlaxdyt?"

Mystic winced as she pulled his hand away again, "Don't fucking breathe on it..jeez it hurts enough as it is!" He swatted her hand away and snatching his fallen ear from her. He placed it upon his head and sent a burst of magic to reattach it. It was almost instant. He tilted his head as she reverted tongues, but shook his head, "No...we're going to be in enough trouble with all this as it is...Not to mention, we probably just sparked something between the Paladins and Witches and the Dark Races..." He sighed deeply, falling backwards and closing his eyes, "I'm still white..aren't I?" He cracked open one eye and frowned as she nodded, "Shit...make sure he's stable..he's unconscious again...and fix his bones. Hdyozy?"

She nodded, going over to Holden and assessing him, "Well..he's already improving...his pulse is getting stronger and so is the bond to the body..well done Mystic." She quickly passed her hand over his body, healing his broken bones and repaired the damaged organs.

Solomon appeared in the room with a puzzled look on his face, "Woow..looks like Jack the Ripper came through here.." He hurried over to Azriel as she spoke, lifting Holden up when she was done, "I'm sorry to have made you done all this..by the way..what was wrong earlier..and..why the box?"

Azriel looked up, standing as Solomon did, "Zwes..don't worry about it Solomon. Alicia will be fine, her transfer was perfect~" She went back over to Mystic, sitting next to him, "You should lay Holden down and attach an IV to him..he's unconscious again..I think he's in a coma..." With that, her, Mystic and the box disappeared.

Holden opened his eyes after six months, "S-..Solomon..?" He asked as he was blinded by the sunlight that was coming from the window. He quickly covered his eyes with his arm. He didn't hear an answer, "Seth? Serus? Hayden? Jaelynn? Alicia?" He asked trying to see what happened. He tried to sit up but he noticed that there was a IV needle in his arm. He winced as he pulled it out, he slowly sat up and noticed that this was a different looking room. "Wh-..where am I?" He asked apparently no one.

He swung his legs from the bed and leaned on his knees. He let out a deep breath. He saw a mirror, he slowly stood up and walked over to the mirror. He looked in the mirror and noticed that he had a beard, "Honestly? No one could of thought to give me a shave." He said looking around for a bathroom. "Seriously? No bathroom in here?" He asked with a sigh. He turned and walked to the door, he opened it and leaned out the door. He saw no one, "Is everyone dead?" He asked sarcastically. He saw a glare coming off of a mirror, "Ah yes! I also really have to pee." Holden said slightly sprinting to the bathroom.

"You know Solomon, I find this body really interesting." Alicia said walking down a flight of stairs. "And! This little lady was a virgin." She said with a smile. "Come on Solomon don't act like that." She said as she turned down the hallway that Holden's room was down. "I hope he wakes up soon, it has been six months." She said. "It was nice of Seth and Serus to let us stay here." She said with a smile. Alicia then noticed that Holden's door was open.
