"Well you certainly know how to pick a hotel." Holden said as they entered their suite. He went to the balcony door and looked out, "So beautiful, I can see La Tour Eiffel." He said with a smile. It was almost nightfall. "You know I called ahead myself, to this cute little cafe called Café de la Nouvelle Mairie. And they have a little picnic basket waiting for me." He said turning around to look at Solomon. "I have always wanted to have a nice romantic picnic by the Eiffel Tower." Holden said with a cute smile.

Solomon smiled a bit, stepping over and putting his arm around Holden's waist, "I think that sounds like a lovely idea Holden. Let me see if the Rental came by then we can go. Alright?" He kissed Holden's neck gently then headed back down to the main desk, "Pardonnez-moi, mais je me demandais si une voiture a été déposé pour une Kalika Salomon à ramasser? (Parodn me, but I was wondering if a car was dropped off for a Solomon Kalika to pick up?)."

The woman was silent for a moment while she checked the book. She smiled and nodded, "Oui! En fait, ils ont tout simplement déposé quelques minutes avant que vous n'arriviez à M. Kalika. I have to go get my guest, so there really is no absolute rush on it. Thank you very much Ma'am.)" He nodded his head in thanks then headed back up to the room.

"Ok love." Holden said with a smile as Solomon left. He pulled out his phone and called Alicia.

Alicia pulled her phone out and answered it, "Hey Holden, so how is Paris?" She asked with a smile even thought He couldn't see it.

"Ah it is beautiful Alicia. So how is everything going at home?" He asked.

"I want to talk to him and then Amanda." Holden said in an angry tone.

Alicia nodded and held out the phone to Jason, "Holden wants to talk to you." She said standing up and headed upstairs to get Amanda.

Jason put the phone up to his ear, "Hi daddy." He said timidly.

Alexander took the phone, mildly surprised, "Y-yes?"

Solomon blinked as Holden was yelling, "Wha..?" He decided to remain silent as Holden spoke.

Holden sighed, "Alexander I'm sorry Jason threatened you. I know it doesn't mean much since I'm a couple thousand miles away from you but I hope you will take my apology." He said pinching is nose.

Alicia stood in Amanda's doorway, "Amanda, Holden wants to talk to you." She said with a smile.

"Really? Hayden I will be right back." Amanda said quickly standing up and running down the stairs.

Alicia looked to Hayden, "How are you liking Monopoly?" She asked leaning on the door frame.

Hayden stared, dumbfounded at the board, "I don't like it...I think Amanda is cheating because I'm bad at math...There's no way I should be out twelve hundred dollars.." She rolled onto her back, looking up at the ceiling, "What will I do when I can't..look like this anymore? I can already feel the bond weakening...I felt uncomfortable in my 'true' form, but now I'm starting to feel awkward as I progress through the age groups mentally.." She sat up, tilting her head, "Why couldn't Solo just leave things as they were? Even if I did bad things, I still made him happy--looking like this. My real appearance..frightens him...because then he realizes just how dangerous I am...that I'm not just a child." She fell back again closing her eyes. "And why is it that I can't confide these thoughts to Solo..that I'm stuck with asking you...no offense.."

Alexander shook his head a bit, not that Holden could see. He decided to revert to Spanish, knowing Jason didn't know that language, but he had a feeling that Holden would, "Para decirte la verdad, y yo no estoy tratando de ser rudo, no soy realmente un fan de él mismo. Alicia chuckled a little bit, "She isn't cheating, she really is this good at Monopoly." She said with a sigh. "I don't know Hayden, I can only shape shift my appearance, but I know what you mean. I feel the bond weaken myself if I'm in it for to long." She said kneeling down. "None taken, compared to Solomon I am a piece of crap. Anyway, I think when him and Holden get back you should talk to him about this." Alicia said with another sigh.

Alexander nodded, again, not that he could see, "Of course, here." He handed the phone to Amanda, looking around for Alicia. He really didn't like being around Jason. He didn't think Holden understood what he meant...it wasn't something he felt would pass.

Hayden shrugged as she sat up again, "I don't think he'd listen. He just wants my mind to 'grow up' so to say, but if that happens, I can't stay in this form...I have to look like I act..I'm just strange I guess..but..what about Amanda? I can't just..disappear..and if I come over looking normal, she'll recognize me from my hair and eyes." She stood, going over and hugging Alicia, "You are not a piece of crap Alicia...your average intelligence allows you to better help people emotionally than Solomon. He's rather useless."

[Bovice]

"We could put your adult form as her memory of you. She can handle one more wipe. But I think Holden would want that for something drastic." Alicia said as she hugged Hayden back. "I don't have average intelligence, I am quite smart. But with..." She trailed off as she heard Alexander coming. "With vampire stuff I am average, if not below. My parents really didn't teach me much." She said picking Hayden up and walking to Alexander. "We are gonna have to tell Alexander about us soon. He doesn't like the vibe he is getting off of Jason." Alicia said with a sigh.

Amanda grabbed the phone, "Holden?" She asked.

"Hey kiddo, I just wanted to call and see how you are doing." Holden said with a smile.

"I'm good, I'm kicking Hayden's butt in Monopoly." She said with a giggle.

"I see, well be nice. I have to go but I will call you tomorrow ok?" He asked.

"I guess. I love you Holden." Amanda said hanging up the phone.

"I love you to Amanda." He said closing the phone. "Sorry I just wanted to check in on everyone." He said standing up. He walked over to Solomon and gave him a quick kiss. "Shall we go?" Holden asked wrapping his arms around Solomon.

Hayden shook her head, "Solo will not like that...he needs to be left in the dark about that matter. It's for the best." She looked to Alexander with her icy eyes, "Jason will just have to learn to give off a friendly aura..."

Alexander ran his hand through his hair as Alicia approached him, "Holden is a bit of a worry wort..isn't he?" He chuckled a bit, feeling rather unnerved as Hayden stared him down, "I get enough of that from Jason, you know Hayden." He narrowed his eyes slightly at her mouth. Was it moving? It certainly didn't appear to be so, but he could've sworn he saw her lips twitch as if she was speaking. He quickly brushed off the matter.

Solomon smiled, "Relax, it's fine. Come on, the car is on it's way to the front." He led Holden downstairs and up to a rather bland looking mini cooper, "Damn French don't have good cars." He held the door open for Holden then shut it after he got in, climbing into the driver's seat and driving off.

"Ya he is, but he really does care." Alicia said with a smile. "Could you possibly teach him how to do that? I have a plain aura, but that's probably because I'm a pure. I could always ask Seth, I'm sure he will do it." She said looking to Alexander. "I should probably go and make some food, I'm sure your hungry." Alicia said as she motioned to the stairs.

"Haha this is quite amusing. I don't think you have drove a crappy looking car." Holden said as he got in the car. "Do you know where the cafe is?" He asked buckling his seat belt.

"You should ask Seth...he knows more about auras than I do...if it makes you feel any better, I don't know much about being a vampire myself." She kept her head angled away from Alexander's face, sensing his suspicion.

Alexander shook his head, "Not really no...I have a slow metabolism." He headed down the stairs as Alicia motioned for him to do so.

Solomon pulled into the lot of the restaurant with a smile, "This isn't your traditional eatery Holden. It's dark, gloomy, and just riveting~ I love it~" He climbed out of the tiny car and went over to Holden's side and opened the door for him, "The restaurant is actually below this building, a few floors. It's just for us vampires~ There's entertainment as well, I hear that the girl currently singing here has just a stunning voice~ It's a shame she's human.."

He led Holden into the building, then down through some halls and to an elevator, "Humans occasionally are allowed down here, mainly as a meal." He escorted Holden into the elevator, hitting the B3 button and waited as the elevator took them down.

"I think we should do it this way around Alexander. I will ask Seth in a few minutes." Alicia said heading down the stairs. "Well you will eat anyway Alexander. And if you want you can help me cook, and leave the kids to the TV." She said with a smile. "Did Solomon tell you about Holden's dream? Alicia asked as she reached the bottom of the stairs, and put Hayden down.

"You just love to throw off my plans, don't you?" Holden asked with a smile. "Is she going to be killed?" He asked a little unnerved. Holden sighed and put his head on Solomon's shoulder. "I know you said we wont talk about home stuff, but what am I going to do with Jason? I feel his anger growing every day."

Hayden held onto Alicia, "Very well...no he did not..."

Alexander shook his head, "Really, I'm not hungry..."

Solomon shook his head, "Were she any other, possibly, but her rising fame has saved her. Wait until you hear her voice.." He trailed off as the doors opened and the start of the song entered the elevator. He led Holden to an empty table.

Sitting at a black grand piano, was a young blonde haired girl. She wore a blue Lolita styled dress, her hair covering her face as she played the intro of the song. Seconds later, she began to sing, "♫Vous mentez, silencieux là avant moi. After a short pause, she continued to sing, and it was apparent the song was very close to her due to the emotion she poured into it. She stood from her bench once she had finished, bowing slightly as a quiet applause came from the ground.

"If you say so Alexander." Alicia said with a smile. "Well it is about Amanda. This is why I had the spell put on the house. Somehow Holden has clairvoyance, and his dreams lately have been coming to pass. His latest one is, that Amanda will be killed... By a Slayer." She said walking to the kitchen. "I don't know if you know this, but if Amanda dies right now, Holden will crack. And I am sure that you don't wanna see that. Holden hasn't even told Solomon about these dreams, I found them out when we melded our minds." Alicia said as she grabbed a few things out of the refrigerator.

Holden opened his mouth to say something but the song drove right into his heart. He closed his eyes while she sang the song, he opened them when the song was finished. He wanted her to do more. He wiped away a tear that came from his eye. He looked at Solomon, "That was very beautiful." Holden said with a small smile.

Hayden frowned as she kept close to Alicia, "There hasn't been a Slayer spotted in over 200 years...are you sure that's who he saw?"

Solomon nodded, "She has just the most amazing voice~ She sings..very personal songs...I don't know much about her, but her favorite songs are, oddly enough, from Silent Hill...not sure why..She does a rather amazing rendition of McGlynn's songs...even if she doesn't know any English...she gets them translated into French for her to sing." He smiled as she walked up to the microphone. He nodded a greeting to the waiter as he set down two wine glasses and a dark colored bottle. Solomon shooed him away, perfectly capable of pouring the blood himself. He did so quickly, handing Holden his glass and taking a sip from his own.

With her bright blue eyes closed, she flicked her hand to someone obviously behind the curtain. The track began to play shortly after.
