i'm not generally a stew person, but it is a good way to get filled up, so i'm not gonna complain either

They do also require easy access to a kitchen, so.

I mean, I do have a kitchen in my dorm, but there's way too much traffic. And I don't have enough fridge space for the leftovers.

you can make stew in lots of portable appliances without an entire kitchen. obv not, like, suburban mom prepping meals for the week level, but a rice cooker stew is very doable and takes minimal space.

true, though our crock pot takes twice as much space as our rice cooker lol

I Am Tam
The stews I grew up with were really chunky soups. I've never really managed to get into gravy stews. But I can make simple curry with the store bought butter chicken stuff! LOL

Now I'm wondering if those dorm peeps who cook in the coffee maker have ever done stew in one.
I'm not very active right now, because of stuff. If you don't see me around and you really need to get hold of me, you can yell at me over at one of these places?

My blog.

I can't imagine someone hasn't at least tried it. The tiniest stew...

I mean...I've never done stew in a coffee maker, but I have done ramen so...don't see why it couldn't be done.

unrelated

bathroom sink is clogged so i had the joy of brushing my teeth in the kitchen sink while facing down the terrifying darkness of a mid-November night via the window

it's very unsettling, considering past the yard is a ditch that anyone can access, and past that is the freeway. not the worst window in the house, but it is up there.

Don't Go Into The Light
I usually brush my teeth while watching TV. It helps me not rush through it and I also don't have to deal with reflections...mental and physical.
