i am very aware that nox is not halloween. however, it is approximately a day to halloween at the time of posting.
therefore, halloween.

It's an omen, I heard a raven outside right as I clicked on this thread. (We don't have many ravens around here; certainly don't see them every day.)

I wish we got ravens here. We get many other birds. Some hummingbirds are still hanging around, even.

We don't get a whole lot of birds here besides mourning doves and grackles.

Hmm, apparently a group of grackles is a plague. We get huge swarms of them, but I only really ever see them in parking lots. I like them though, with the rainbow sheen in their feathers and their gate creak screech.

Oh dear gods I need to stop listening to Spooky Scary Skeletons. I've had it on repeat for the past, uh... maybe three hours while cranking out this paper.

We also get quite a few crows at our place. Ravens are rare, yet can be spotted occasionally.

Well, you can always trick or treat with us. I have jellybeans and toilet paper.

I too always worry if toilets outside my house will have toilet paper.
