Aw, I get it though. When I lost one dog in particular, it broke me, and I could totally relate to wanting to have them cloned, even if it's not the same dog.

It's one of the reasons my mom doesn't want a pet D: she was sad even when the hamsters died... let alone a dog or a cat(not to rank pets in tiers but already doing it)

It can almost sound like m'dam, and so it would sound like you are being super courteous to your pets if you used it.
