You still need it for chopping limbs.

Have you tried baru/barùka nuts? Apparently they might be more common in Brazil.

What I originally pulled up said "a mix between cashews and peanuts with a subtle cocoa or coffee flavor." So it sounds like it might be even better? My store might start carrying them if they can ever manage to keep anything on the shelves.

Are they? It looked like a large bag here for under $10 US, but not too sure on size. Macadamias are pretty steep. Why must they be so good?

Macadamias are also expensive. They're my favorite.

Like peanut butter, but with the flavor of the type of nut that was used. Almond butter is probably the most popular after peanut. Easy enough to make your own by grinding your nut of choice.

I got my hands on some baru nuts! Disappointing. Definitely has that peanut taste, but more mild. But also somewhat similar to pine nuts. Didn't really taste the cashew similarity that was mentioned.

Some countries still aren't in tune with how amazing even peanut butter is. But all the nut butters are so good. Keep them away please.

I hate how any new ingredient is suddenly a superfood.
