in all the years i've been able to go to our zoo, i've never been able to see our okapi, the river hogs, the crested birdies, zebras, or the precious snow leopard (well, year 1 i went i saw the leopard but none of the others) so i happily took photos of them...while poor sammi suffered the zoo scents and having to stand around T___T

It was pretty bad in the enclosed, hot spaces. I had to hold my nose.

I have very sensitive scent glands >_<

BUUUUUT she braved the monkey house to step in for a few seconds to see the 2-toed sloth that just hangs out in the walkway. <3 the primate house, she walked all the way through, but i was more proud of her seeing the sloth xD
