Mine can only take two, and one of them is right next to my mouse hand. ...My laptop also doesn’t have an ethernet port.

It's fine if you're using it for a printer or something that doesn't really require speed.

I never had problems with my usb strength, but then again maybe mine was stronger to begin with. But then again years ago I've been successfully running Guild Wars on a computer that didn't even meet the minimum system requirements, and as long as I didn't have a minion master in the group it was perfectly playable. So guess I'm also kinda accustomed to weaker performance, and maybe what you'd call regular speed I already experience as good one.

I decided a few years ago when they had made the wireless keyboard and mouse usb so tiny that you couldn't hardly remove it, that I'd never do that again if I could avoid it.
