not sure if you could call it an anime but there used to be a 3D CGI donkey kong cartoon many moons ago about the same time as the super Mario cartoons iirc

There are people and other characters with the "DK" initials.. like batman for example.. the 'Dark Knight' ... >->, why does everyone associate all DKs with that stupid ape..

Theres even a girl group other there called 'Smile.DK' >->

Not all 'DK' stands for donkey kong..

I gave that one a go last season it seemed alright but I picked up to many series and had to drop 1 or 2 still need to go back to it
