My grandparents were never that evil. My mom even though she is loony she is not that evil. I am old enough to know her ways. She fancy things if it can make her look good but as soon as she has to care to much for it, it becomes to much of a labor. Especially if she has to do it properly. It is why most of our pets were out door dogs. It was much easier to buy them a dog house and let them romp around outside as long as she remembered to fill their bowls. And being kids we didn't know there was a proper way to raise pets. At least I didn't until I had real friends xD. I was amazed they kept their dogs inside and took them for walks and let them sleep in their beds and stuff.

I was kind of the opposite. Because we lived in a condo we were not supposed to have pets, so the best I ever had was a bird. But the only other person who really had dogs was Sasha, and her dogs were either in the mudroom in the winter, or otherwise they lived outside. But I always remember not thinking that it was right, and saying that if I ever got a dog that they would be inside except for the background. they were always in such rough shape, and not even having a pet except the birds it made me sad.

After having so many pets and not caring for them properly I told my dad if I ever get another one, it would be one that I can keep in a cage. Some thing small like a mouse or fish. I wish I could keep something self contained like a cat but its fluff would kill me. For the places I want to live a dog would be too much and though I would like a corgi I would have to dedicate myself to raising it correctly and hell I can't even keep a fish XD. My fish Howard lasted about hmmm a year and some months.

XD I always thought he died because I fed him cookie crumbs. One day I wanted to see if he would eat it since it was the size of a sand grain. He was such a cute fish too, loved to watch tv and hated my moms sense of fashion.

he liked soap operas best of all and would sit on one side of his bowl when they were on and swim to the other side during other times and when my mom would pass by he would swim to the other side of the bowl if she stopped.

Haha xD me too, though my dad broke my fish bowl so no more fish for a while. If I get another one I want a girl beta because the black and white ones are pretty, and I also want an aquarium I don't have to change the water every week.

From my experience with the turtle, I would much rather have a bowl that a tank. I did have a filter so I washed it probs every two weeks, but whenever I did I cut myself in one way or another, almost ripped my nail off one time, and it was so big it was near impossible to clean out in the sink without spilling water everywhere.

Well with the fish, a tank is better because it automatically recycles water, with the bowl unless its an bowl with live plants, you have to change the water other wise the fish has no fresh oxygen to breathe with.

True true, and a filter helps with that too, doesn't it?

yeah, if I had a big enough tank, I would have a koi fish. A coworker of mirror offered one to me since they had some and it had babies.
