NJ gets a lot of snow usually, you all can have it.
This way I don't have to shovel.

@Alpha: Well then just replace the bad Ashy and Tiva influences with the good Tiva influences? @w@
I hope your heads okay from having been whacked with quarters. XD

@Quiet: Oh, wow. You sure have moved up and down quite a bit. owo
Do you prefer to live in Vancouver or in Fort St. John? :o

@Lucid: D: That's sad to hear. :(
So... I think I'll just drag and keep you in Canada during spring, summer, and autumn then. >w>
Winter up here definitely not your cup of tea, well maybe last year could have been since there was barely any snow last year. ;w; Or at least that was the case in Southern Ontario, not sure about Mon's, Nexy's, Pinkie's, and Quiet's provinces though. >w>;;

This magical ice that falls from the sky is a blight that lies within my land. It is designed to make a man suffer and sweat under it's cruel tutelage of the worst domestic labors. Even after it's difficult removal, one is required to lay down some manner of small salted rocks to prevent some clueless oaf from falling horizontally on their fool buttocks lest one get unreasonable sued by the local magistrate.[/end useless ranting]

Heh. I definitely prefer to deal with snow when I'm up north. The people up there know how to to deal with it.

Everyone knows hot to drive in the snow. It's so light and fluffy you can sweep it of decks and things. Since it tends to be below 30*C often, road salt doesn't work so trucks go by with little rocks to add texture instead and people just drive on the packed snow instead, which is easier than on slush and tends to keep the ice down. It does mean that everything elevates by about 3 inches or so. One year the city decided to spend the snow removal budget on renovation for city hall since the last few years had been relatively mild. We then had so much snow that we lost two lanes on the main road as they got covered and the pile outside our old house reached the roof.

Spring on the other hand, sucks. Since the snow packs so hard when it's moved it melts from the inside out, so you might step on a section and then crash through into a mini puddle or river; there are rocks all over the place from the snow trucks (seriously, they get piled up by street sweepers and the city picks them back up again since there are so many. Our neighbour across the street used to run out and snag a couple wheelbarrow full each year. In three years he re-paved his driveway) and the dirt from the trucks and such that's been trapped in the snow finally dries out and flies in your face with each wind gust.

I usually say the seasons up there are sun, snow, and a couple months of brown in between.

Ari, I said in my last post that I couldn't really pick between the two places. :P. I'd say I prefer it a little more here, but it's not always an easy choice. I do prefer the humidity down here compared to the extreme dryness up there. My skins isn't prone to cracking and I don't have to get up and drink as often in the middle of the night. My hair is better too. On the other hand, my health is overall better up there. When I was on dialysis, the after effects were less, and my lungs were better (not that they're bad now but I could run further without getting a cough.) I never thought of Vancouver as being polluted really, until I started moving between the two places. The moisture could also explain the cough though, and I live in North Van so I'm not directly in the city.

Yeah, I know what you mean. My body's starting to get annoyed with the growing amounts of pollution in Markham. What with all the construction going on here in the uptown downtown of the area, which I happen to live right in the CENTRE of. @w@

Not to mention, as a result of all the construction going on traffic has also become super duper congested on the road which all of the construction takes place. x.x

I think Van is pretty good as far as bigger cities go, but you can tell if it doesn't rain in a while, and you can see some haze from on top of Whistler.

Yeah, despite not liking the rain itself, I do love the effect of how rain just washes all the yucky smells in the air away and makes it smell so fresh and yummy. >w<

I used to go walking around in the rain sometimes. It wasn't always intentional, since I walked home from school often. Once you're wet though, you're wet, so it hardly mattered if I stayed out any longer and got more wet or not. Best part was changing into new fluffy clothes when I got home. :)

Yeah, I don't like getting wet by the rain. But once wet, might as well make the most of it. Even if I really, really hate the clinginess of clothes when they're wet. *Yuck!*
And I've walked in all sorts of weather conditions before! Rain, snow, super intense fog, hail, I think even a thunderstorm, once. owo
