Comments From Mizzy: As soon as I saw it I thought Demon, and honestly thats what I was hoping for. I wanted an easy challenge to start everything off. The white wings threw me off a bit. As did the outfit because there is only Gold in the middle, only plaid on the bottom, and two different choices in wings. So those factored into a misguided flow for me.

Comments From Mercy: This avatar is quite obviously evil, which is a very good thing. I also like that you tried to make an original touch to it. While I do like it I feel the avatar is top heavy with large head wings then large back wings. The white wings really have no place here either. The pants are extremely busy compared to the top part of the avi as well and it keeps distracting me from the rest.

Comments From Hermes:Black and purple with blood on it just seems like something anyone would do. I know, I know, I'm being picky, but that's how I am. This also would have received a noticeably higher score if not for the seemingly random silver on the pants.

Comments From Mizzy: Overall I loved it! It made me think evil at first glance. I've never seen those wings layered together, and have never personally thought to do so with them. There were three colors that threw me off, the yellow/light blue/dawn. My eyes want to look at those spots first when I look at your avi because they standout and are not used else where.

Comments From Mercy: I really like this avatar with a few exceptions. I feel like the pinkish color in the hair should of been repeated somewhere in the lower part of the avi and I also think there could of been a lot more done to make it more evil. Without the wings it wouldn't succeed in this challenge. Interesting use of the penguin skin though!

Comments From Hermes: I enjoyed the use of layers in this one, and the hair added a lot of color. I feel this matched well together, but still left a small amount lacking in the originality department. Like I have said before, black and purple with accessories just feels...normal, to me.

Comments From Mizzy: I love it. Truly I do. Its one of my personal favorites from this round. It speaks load and clear Angel. The colors and items flow amazingly together. The only improvement I could think of would be to add blonde to the middle of the avi. (since its on the head and the feet)

Comments From Mercy: I think this is probably one of the most successful versions of this challenge. Though I feel it could of used some more risk. It is very cut and dry good, but its very refreshing from all of the dark.

Comments From Hermes: Absolutely loved this entry, though it would have been nice to see more color, and a less over-used theme. Angels and Demons are not the only representatives of good and evil, right and wrong.

Comments From Mizzy: I don't think evil. Or good. I think Zombie... or dying human... ooor psychopath. I know you were trying to be creative, and I gave you points for that. The flow is good. An even balance of white/green/red but it was leaving me with wanting more.

Comments From Mercy: I really don't think this hit the mark on the theme at all. Very original but it just looks like a zombie. When I think evil I think something more like demon or devil. Being evil is a conscious decision, and while zombies are usually illustrated as evil. They are really nothing more than an undead animal with the basest of needs. To feed whether you survive or not. They make no conscious decisions to be evil and therefore really don't succeed for this challenge at all.

Comments From Hermes: I can't tell if they're good or evil. Anyone could be fighting anything out in the desert with a sword.

Comments From Mizzy: While I love this avi I was torn. The halo and color choices make me think good, but the tail and horns make me think evil. So I'm not sure how to grade the theme part. If I grade it as a "good" theme it would be high, and if it was an "evil" theme it would be low. I'll need to talk with the others about that. The Flow is amazing, but the hair causes conflict with the top and the horns. to much white.


Comments From Mercy: I wish I could score this higher. I really like this avatar. But it's another avatar with a piece of the wrong side thrown in. In your case its the tail. This is one of my favorite avatars and would normally be easily good. Other than that it's very well done, I would only suggest a little more yellow in the chest area to balance it a bit more.

Comments From Hermes: While it lost points for cliche color scheme, this is by far my favorite entry this round for the theme. Try using less obvious color schemes in the future.

Comments From Mercy: This was probably the most original avatar in this for me. I really like it and it makes a very interesting look at evil with all the darkness. My only complain is the boney spike hair, I am just not a very big fan of the item.

Comments From Hermes: This was a very good entry, I loved that it wasn't your usual angel/demon thing, and that it didn't have the normal colors we always see. I think the evil/good is a little hard to tell, otherwise loved it.

Comments From Mizzy: Overall feel of evil, but thats only because of the subtle hints from the horns/back wings/feet wings. It feels very cluttered, but everything is layered well. The face being plain while everything else is covered in layers upon layers just makes my eyes draw to it first.

Comments From Mercy: I really like your color choices and the avatar itself. I would of scored this higher but I just felt like it came off as a bit cluttered and while I know the avatar is evil, due to the excess it made it a little harder to make that out. I love the character of it but I think it would benefit from less items to make its true intentions a bit more clear.

Comments From Hermes: This was a very pretty avatar, but again didn't convey a sense of good or evil to me.

It happens to be in my opinion one of the most well balanced avatars in this challenge, Though I think a bit more black and red in the hair/head area would benefit this a lot, and I would definitely like to see something more original. Otherwise great job!

Comments From Hermes: Not necessarily my favorite look, and I guess I might think this person was evil but I don't usually assume everyone scary in armor is evil.

I'm a little torn about the bottom (skirt/ leg warmer /stocking) I'm not sure if it would look better done differently, and I'm honestly not sure if I like it the way it is. I think its very look and inventive, but distracting. I love that the wing types match. Very well done!

Comments From Mercy: I really love this avatar. Purple is such a pretty color, but I felt like it was a little too dark. All the dark colors together are a little hard to contrast between the items. Maybe try using a darker lilac color rather than a super dark violet. Definitely one of my favorites.

Comments From Hermes: I did like this, it at least used a different skin tone and layered the black and purples well. But, again, you lost points on using a cliche color scheme. Good entry otherwise.

Comments From Mizzy: I don't get the feel of good or evil. Just looks human. While the flow is nice and its a very origin avi. It just doesn't go with the theme. I do really like the avi. I'm sad because it doesn't fit the theme.

Comments From Mercy: This doesn't feel like good or evil to me. I really think this is more adventurous young anime girl that's whimsical. I like it but it just doesn't fit the theme. I really feel like the only item that was bending it towards good was the feet wings. I wish I could score you higher because I like the avatar, but it definitely needed some more 'good' to it. Add in maybe a glow, a little halo and some cute white wings and it would of hit a nice balance between that cute anime girl and little angel.

Comments From Hermes: Probably my favorite avatar to be entered here, just not for the theme. Could be a freedom fighter of some sort, maybe a daring airship captain, that was my feeling here. Try and maybe add a description to things original like this.

Comments From Mercy: Every time I look at one of your avatars I always try to dissect what you are thinking. They all have a really personal touch to them from you, even your contest submissions, it makes them really original. I really find this avatar interesting, though I think you would of benefited from a little more white and a little less pastel. You pull the balancing act very well. My biggest complaint is it looks a little to much like a fairy, but otherwise succeeds pretty well in the good category.
